Hey...just wondering...

because I do. :)

In my opinion, when I hear other people's music it sounds like a paper against wall ... but when I play HIS...

it sounds like crashing waves against the sand ... like the rainfall of spring falling upon gravel... it sounds like heaven itself descending to dance.

Besides these classical composers > Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Mahler, Palchabel, Tchiavosky, and Debussy...

+ soundtrack of peter pan, passion of the Christ, and secret garden...

I have all of Michael (bulk of my songs > around 450)

anyone else like this? just wonderin'

Yes, I can completely agree with that. Sure, I also listen to Diana Ross, The Gipsy Kings or other music (for example: Michael Bolton)

But these artists just have got music for relax my mind after having a busy day.......often I don´t even "really listen" to the music. It just plays in the "background" when I do something in my appartment. Do you understand what I mean??

Yes, only Michael.
His music is so relaxing...

I can't listen to others... I don't know why. This make me a bit sad...

I really do listen exclusively to Michael...nobody else...nooooo one.

People IRL are astounded by that...

You guys are missing out. MJ is my favourite and I don't think any other artists music will touch me the way MJ's has, but still, there are loads of amazing, talented and brilliant musicians out there besides Michael.

^
I don't feel at all like I'm missing out.

I don't feel like just a "fan" of Michael. I feel a spiritual connection to him and his music.

His is the only voice and magic that truly transcends all universal realms for me.

Im also like that.. I only listen to Michael! ..when Im at home, in the car or at the gym (well most of the time at the gym, sometimes I put some other "running" songs on lol) .. only his music!!

I used to only listen to michael when i was younger, but i have a broad selection of music and listen to a lot of other artists nowadays.

I agree - there are many talented musicians, it's just a shame that there aren't many currently making music (in my opinion).

I listen to many different artists spanning the genres - pop, rock, metal, folk, indie (mostly indie rock), blues...have quite eclectic taste really. My favourite solo artist is Michael Jackson, obviously, but I am also a fan of sting's music and Keane is my favourite band :)

Yes I listen to Michael only some exceptions made.
The past couple of weeks I've been listening to Enigma now and then.
Sometimes I return to my Rock mood and listen to that but really mostly Michael.

This.

I go through phases, I get stuck on certain things (artists, albums, songs) and I'll just have them on repeat for like weeks (months...) but I always end up back with Michael. He's my default. Something new may come along and I'll be all about it for a bit, but after it passes I return to my one and only. [Eg: A couple months ago I found my Lena Zavaroni collection that had been missing for a while and it was aaaaall Lena for some time, but then December came and I put in my J5 Christmas and all has been back to normal since.] :cheeky:

Oh yea, I have no desire to listen to any one else. Exception gospel. As for as any other artist. Naaa, Mike is all I need. There so much, really what more could you ask for.

Trust me, I'm not missing out. I'm sooo good.

But sometimes I am forced to listen to other artist music. Which is cool. Along as it is not Lil Wayne. I refuse to subject my ears and brain to the garbage he spits out.

I know there are other artist out there who are talented, but none move me the way he does.

Maybe in time (like years) I will venture out, but for now I have to keep him close.

Ya'll can say it, I know, but whatever.

I would like to add though, that I know Mike would like me to listen to other positive artist, but right now I can't.

oh yea even though sometimes I may be forced to listen to other music I keep my ipod with me at all times (which has nothing but Michael on it, by the way). And I have back up just in case.

My brother tried to take it from and I almost had to fight his azz, He better not ever think of trying to take my baby away from me. I'll by him his own before I go with out.

I'm not crazy ya'll. Really i'm not. I just can't be with out him. It's all I got at this point.

I mainly listen to Michael. I may put on other artist's music for one song, but with Michael I will listen to several songs, a whole album, or put a song on repeat. To me his songs have different emotions, so they fit my different moods. If I want something soft, he has it. If I want some music with an edgy guitar sound, he has that. He is really well rounded. I would like to hear his classical pieces. I heard that he was working on one.

I've been finding it hard to go back to listen to other music artists, which is a shame, because I had a really vast taste in music. It's just really hard to listen to other songs and artists when I begin to notice just all of the different things that are added to the music and just how much emotion went into his songs. It's so hard to listen to other albums now, because I'm disappointed in how similar the songs sounded. I really appreciate how Michael really went out of his way to hit so many genres in one album and somehow made it all work.

Sometimes I do need a break, but I have realized that besides Michael I mostly can not stand pop music, save for some older acts. I mostly prefer electronica.

yes..it's one of the things that make people look at me crosseyed.

i listen exclusively to Michael's music. i do not listen to classical artists.
something about his music is new.

even the classical artists, mozart, etc. sound dated to me. and i really feel i am not missing out on anything. in fact, if i try to listen to someone else.. i feel like i am missing out on something. i listened to all kinds of music, once. but, no more. and this change happened wayyy before june 25.

people say, you should have a budget. Michael was known for not knowing the definition of a budget. he spent all his money on his music. and now the music gives back...it gives totally to me.

other people feel like they saved their money, and put too many hands in the pot, in an attempt to make their music. and now, my stomach cannot take them.

well..i love MJ's music as much as ANYBODY..got all the albums almost..and there will be times when i listen to NOTHING but him..but i got an eclectic ear for music and listen to ALL types of music. I mean i understand yall love for MJ and all that, but if u listen to NOTHING but him...u guys are missing out on a LOT of good music...real talk..the music is out there believe me..

I listen to all different kinds of music but the only music that makes me truely happy is Michaels

naw i'm not, and no it ain't. lol.
what i'm doing, musically, right now, is like comfort food. it's gotta be this way.

I can say, because I listen to a lot of different artists,
1. I can see the unique beauty in Michael's music more clearly
and
2. I can see how his music is part of this American&African-American musical legacy and history (not limited to music history) more clearly esp. through black music in the US before&at the same time&after his music came out.

my ipod has Michael on it mainly....I do have other people on it ...but...I listen to Michael only...I even have only Michael videos on it....BOTDF....god he looks so good in that........ok I know this may sound pathetic to some but...I even carry my TII cd in my purse...I need to have it with me....I feel like I have Michael with me always.

I listen to everything from Take That to Slipknot. Music is my passion. I can respect the people who listen to Michael exclusively. Everyone has their own taste. Who am I to judge anyone for their tastes? (I just used my username in a sentence )

If I had to pick one artist to listen to for the rest of my life it would be Michael but I would miss other music so much. I'd miss hearing some crazily heavy rock song, a funny country song, dancing along to cheesy 80's music (and LOVING it!), hearing new songs, I'd miss writing my own songs.

You guys aren't missing out because the rest doesn't appeal to you. Maybe some day it will, maybe it wont.

Nah, I can't even fathom not listening to Stevie or Donny or Smokey. I've been through phases where MJ was on non-stop, I've been on Stevie and Donny phases... but I can't imagine listening exclusively to only one artist.

But on the other hand I can see why others do feel that way, though I'd hope they'd at least attempt to listen to something else. But people should listen to what they want.

When your inspiration of your creation comes from all of life around you (which Michael said), then that is exactly what it will seem like......not paper....

I mainly only listen to Michael.

I do like me some Coldplay though, but only when I'm in the mood for it.
