most designer jackets do cost that much. for example Michael's favorite Balmain jackets range between $4-14,000. (Granted they look much more better).

for example this jacket costs $11,410

Yes, but I have a hard time believing that particular jacket of Klein is worth that much, especially worn. It's not that great. I guess Klein just hopes the estate won't find it to give it back to him and then he can sue for money.

So basically this translates as 'give me the jacket so I can sell it for a lot of money.' I'm sick of those supposed trusted confidants of Michael's cashing in on him. It's disgusting. Like that bodyguard that tried to sell a reporter one of MJ's surgical masks. What on earth did Michael do to deserve these 'friends?'

And drivel, it IS. But hey! We have so few opportunities for humor these days, that this thread has produced some mirth? So it's not all bad?

I remember when the photos and vid were first posted showing Michael in that jacket. Most of the responses were positive, and I was just scratching my head at WHY? That jacket was like a air-plane hangar on him. I knew he was IN there somewhere, but where? The color was the most caustic green I could have imagined. That crest on the pocket? Like some "king of the world" logo? I laughed and laughed (but kept it to myself). Whatever.

And now Klein wants it BACK? Just watch it turn up on Ebay for $100,000? Or maybe he just wants to sit in a dark room, jacket up to his face, and inhale Michael's scent. And cry? Maybe? I guess if I had 10k, I'd buy it just for that? That precious scent. (Oh, HELL. Am I going to cry? AGAIN? scuse me. . .. )

well I'm the one that started the thread here and honestly for me this was one funny story and that's one ugly jacket. After seeing the jokes at TMZ (use it as a tent, did he check the backyard, St Patrick day, Leprechaun etc) I thought this would be a source of laughter for us.

Well, whatever we think of Klein, if the family has that jacket, they should return it. It is obvious from the size it wasn't Michaels jacket and he does have photos of himself in it.

If he wants to sell it on ebay, its his to sell. Fair is fair. Really, put yourself in his place. You lend someone something and they pass away and you ask for it back and no one will give it to you.

That would kinda annoy me too.

Hmm...I don't think so. If it was my friend I wouldn't give a crap about the jacket to be honest. If he spent $10,000 on it chances are there's plenty more where that came from.

Agree. If it was my deceased friend whose jacket I had, I would not give a crap. To burden the family with such a trivial thing at this time is just WRONG.

And Beachlover? It's good you don't cry daily anymore. I will cry about Michael every day of my life, for the REST of my life. I am absolutely certain of that. It just is what it is. I'll just have to work it in to the other things I do on a daily basis?

Suppose your friend asks you if he can borrow your brand new Laptop. You saved up and got this great new laptop, but your friend needs it and you say yes.

The family of your friend is now entitled to keep your laptop after your friend passes away?

I try my best not to judge others. Maybe you need to learn that too.

Yeah sure ask a mourning family to go find your ugly green jacket (of which they could care less about), because that whats sooooo important right now , that it can't wait.

If thats what it is, I don't wanna learn it. I'd rather be a human and think of others instead of me and my little green jacket.

Obviously he wants his jacket. I'm sure if it were your laptop you might think differently is what I am saying...but maybe not.

I, too, will go off, with MJJ7777, to "study peace." How did this thread go astray, anyway? Michael had a message, and it was NOT this. He, too, studied peace.

The world is not "black and white" and it never was. It is, indeed, shades of gray, and it is many colors.

This is a horrific situation. A man whom so many loved, has died, and so many of us are dealing with the grief. If i'd had a beloved friend who died (and in some ways, I guess I did?), and that friend had "borrowed my laptop," I'd never mention it to the family. What is an OBJECT, compared to a human life? I'd expect that Michael's family are stunned by their grief, and wouldn't even know what I was talking about, or care, at this time.

This is SO very, very sad.

You know....just check out all the creditors claims. I think people here hate Arnie Klein and nothing the man does is ever going to be right. EVER. I made a comment that I understand and suddenly I am nailed to the cross for thinking that it is OK to want your belongings back from someone who no longer has use for it BEFORE they throw it in the trash or give it away.

I don't think handing back a jacket that they clearly took from the house on the first night when they backed all the trucks up to it is going to disrupt their entire lives.
