Well the autopsy report showed otherwise. Plus I hate when the media uses that HIStory tour image to compare-MJ has always been thin and that was him at his heaviest. I'm not saying that personally I didn't feel MJ was too thin, he was, but he was still a healthy male under the BMI index. Yes he had his lung ailment but it wasn't life threatening nor did it contribute to his death.

Oxman is inconsistent with himself when he says he doesn't believe in conspiracy, yet he is representing Joe who does.

So the coroner lied? I am sorry both coroners lied? All of the other doctors that offered there opinion I guess they lied too. Ridiculous
Who is interviewing him? The interview tape loops? I was just watching the Victory Tour the other day. I noticed that his brothers were half naked and Michael had on layers of clothes. It actually happens that way often when he is performing that he has on much more clothing. That is nothing new for TII.
I hate when people like Oxman who speak so enthusiastically and with so much zeal, he can be convincing to those who do not know what the facts are. And he mentions the autopsy to back up his version of events when the autopsy actually paints a different picture. Ugghhh!

Michael has always been thin. Fact. He was not skeletal, in my opinion he was a few pounds less and I believe he was eating little. When a person works hard is normal do not eat right.

How come everyone uses the same two pictures when trying to compare Michael's weight loss from 96' to 2010? HIStory was almost 15 years prior to TII, how can you even compare the two?

No offense, but haven't we talked and argued about this since last June? Brian isn't saying anything that hasn't been speculated/denied/supported etal for now almost going on a year?

personally i believe he was under weight and way to skinny for the start of any tour. but that doesnt mean he was unhealthy interms of his organs or being ill. the terms mean two different things.
I totally agree with you! And if you look at photos of MJ from 2007 and 2008, he looks very much the same as he does in the TII photos. He is definitely thinner than he was in the History tour days, but that was him at his meatiest (for lack of a better term). That was not MJ's norm by any means.

The autopsy said Michael had serious lung issues. He wasnt healthy. Some of you need to go back and re-read it.
The 2 pictures of MJ despite being 15 years apart shows what Michael looks like ON STAGE!!!!! Michael losses a lot of weight every night on stage. How much energy did he burn off in that comparison pic of him.......walking???? Ok then lol

His lungs were inflamed. Meaning he could catch colds with ease and he may have been short of breath. And it did not kill him so chill

Umm A) I didnt say he could kill him. Look at the thread title.
B) Catching colds with ease can easily lead to other things such as pneumonia which is what Oxman said.
I know this may get in to the realm of the autopsy report, and I'm sorry fftopic: but I thought MJ had a long standing lung problem. Also the autopsy does not expressly state he had pnuemonia it just says chronic lung inflammation, so Oxman cannot say it said that. If he comes with more evidence besides the autopsy report then we must believe him if it is credible. but he has not come forth with anything.
Also, doesn't pneumonia make it very difficult to breathe and at the very least you will have aggressive coughing? but we didn't see any of that in the last images we have of MJ.

The coroner's reported stated that his lung issues were not considered an element that lead to his death- I know what you're thread title says but that's what the autopsy pointed out. Judging by the way they looked looked at minute details such as calcifications in each finger- I'm inclined to believe it. Define healthy? Some people have asthma, other people have allergies- what is the opposite of not healthy? Sick? Or just not healthy? We're playing with words.
The autopsy shows a fairly normal bodily state of a 50 year old for the most part. And that's kind of crucial here. He wasn't the "junkie" that suddenly every "friend" on Larry King wanted to have known, no long term liver damage etc.
I agree that his weight is for a man of his height at the beginning of a taxing 50 concert engagement is way too low. And has been for a while as pictures show.
Where do we draw the line? Autopsy says fairly healthy, others say NOT HEALTHY. Whom does is help?
Murray's defense is going to go after every tidbit trying to show that MJ was already halfway in his coffin anyway- and that everything that happened was just a sad coincidence. That's kind of playing into the hands of the defense who's grasping at any straw.
Mr.Oxman seems to have a tendency to talk a lot- whenever he showed up somewhere he spoke a bit too much.

If you want to talk conspiracy, hate for Oxman (you guys should practice what you preach with L.O.V.E. BTW) or anything else, there are other threads for that. The amount of hatred you guys quickly displayed in this thread is very sad from a humane stand point let alone the fact that we are Michael Jackson fans and some people havent learnt a thing from him in your or his life span. I dont think Michael was ALL that healthy! I'm not blind and I'm not deaf! I can hear that he could no longer sing some songs or some parts of some songs. I'm not judging him! He sang his entire life, so if he decided to do an entire show using playback, I would never mind!
