There has been nothing to suggest that Oprah interviewed the children, just that she met them at the house so the attacks need to stop.

As we first reported, production trucks for Oprah's show were parked outside the Jackson compound in Encino for the better part of Saturday. In the photos, Oprah can be seen meeting with several family members and getting the tour of the house.

We're told the interview focused heavily on Michael Jackson (duh) -- talking about his life, his kids and the book Katherine put together about his life.

No word yet on when the episode will air.

It is possible to use the media to your advantage if you know how to do it.

No, Oprah's not as bad as the Grace's, etc., but in a way, it gives her more credibility. The Grace's can be easily dismissed. Oprah's subtlety gives more credence to the negative slant she puts out there. She hasn't been as bad since his death, but she was IMO just as obviously biased as Sawyer prior to it.

I wish Mrs. Jackson was media savvy enough to effectively counter Oprah, but unfortunately, she isn't. She does evoke sympathy as someone who genuinely loved the son who openly adored her, but other than that, she comes off as ill informed and with promoting the book, self-serving.

Oprah has no shame whatsoever. She will do anything for ratings.
I am really surprised Katherine agreed to this. Maybe she wants to set things straight with Oprah and I know Katherine won"t say anything confusing about Michael but still....
There are other journalists. Why Oprah ?!

Joe is suing the estate (wants to REMOVE THE ADMINISTRATORS)....AND HE IS PROMOTING THE NEW ALBUM? An album put together by the very people, whom Joe's lawyer stated in court, hate his client?

This is to plug Katherine's book. Period.

the same people behind the belt...behind the paid NBC interview are also behind Oprah's interview.

oprah will have an interview...in exchange she will plug Katherine's book on her show...That is better than being paid for the interview. Have you ever heard of how many books Oprah's book club's picks sell?

As usual everyone jumped to conclusions that the kids are part of this. In all the pictures posted on TMZ they are not in them and if they were interviewed I am sure whoever sold those pictures would have sold ones of them

the belt made an appearance in one of the TMZ photos. I guess they didn't let go of the idea to find a way to sell them.

No matter what type of interview it'll be, I'm just sick of this whole thing. Oprah being in the house and smiling, that's just too much to handle.

I do have this little hope that Katherine may give Oprah's fake ass some serious ass-whooping, but uh...I'm not getting my hopes up too much cuz I don't wanna be let down.....

has Katherine ever seen Oprah shows where she bashed Michael and called him almost peadophile permanently trying to persuade people he was guilty?

There is no member of the Jackson Family who would warn Katherine????
 
The killing part is that she is so, so fake and oh so phony. I can hear her phony, goofy laugh and nothing about her is the least bit sincere. Oprah could care less about MJ, his children nor his legacy. It’s a ratings opportunity. ICK! I’m waiting for her to eventually distort everything that Katherine has said and go right back to mocking him and depicting him as weird and inappropriate. I would of never introduced Prince, Paris and Blanket to her she does not deserve it. I hope she did not ask them one question and they offer no replies about their well being, nor their father. I won’t be watching the show of neither Katherine nor Lisa interview when it does air. There will be NO ratings plug here for Oprah from me. My loss of respect for Oprah just didn’t start with what she did to Michael. Oprah has been self serving long before this. I wish Katherine wanted to share her feelings and her book of memories with someone else. Why not Maury or Geraldo? At least they did not mock him after meeting him and learning more about him. I’m just so disgusted.

MJ kids should watch her shows where she offended Michael, I think kids should have their say in MJs matters and have the knowledge about that!!!!

See I'm trying to withhold judgement now because we don't know what is going on, but if this is true and Oprah is going to do that, that's it for me. In my opinion that would be the tackiest thing they could do.

(I deleted a part of what I wrote here because I guess it could be seen as a small rant against Oprah and LMP. We don't need that drama again so I just took it out.)

Honestly I don't know what is going on over there and why the need for Oprah. When I heard Joe was there and also interviewed it started making some kind of sense to me.
It seems to me that this isn't like something Katherine would do on her own. It's sad that there still seems to be some sort of agenda being run around her. Obviously part of it is that they want to promote that book still.

Mostly what bothers me is that it seems fans have a longer term memory than most of the people who were actually a part of his life. What is up with that?

I'm really trying to relax and just wait and see what happens but that has backfired so many times in all these years it's hard not to get worked up I guess.

I know I will be called naive by some but I don't see how this is done for purely financial purposes at all. His mother and all of his family (for the most part) truly want the world to know about the reality of who Michael was..He deserves that. And although I am not a fan of Oprah, I would say it's one of the most maximum exposure interview things at the moment.

Do some people here truly believe that his ENTIRE family doesn't still love Michael? Do you really think it's all about money for all of them? Really? It's his family, and as fans even though we hurt from his death his family must feel it in a deeper sense, naturally. It's Michael's children's family too, I think some of you seem to forget it, and create this whole divisive thing between Michael's children and their uncles/aunts/cousins ect, they are all Jacksons...I'm sure they would be really deeply saddened by some of the things said here.

I can 100% understand the frustration but please, don't condemn an entire family based on actions that you don't like by some of them. Michael loved Katherine deeply, I feel she knows what she is doing... Just my opinion on all of this..
