No! Why?!

Michael did his best to keep his children away from the media! He tried to protect them from the medias cruelty! and now? Now that he's dead, his kids are praxtically thrown in front of the cameras! This is an insult to him! His own family has dishonoured him by going against his wishes!

Why is it...That the only ones he seem to understand him better...are us? The fans? We know this is wrong! Why can't his own parents see that?!

hehehe. lets all take a deep breath and chillax alittle ko? i mean really we all know the woman is full of hot air thats why her weight keeps going up and down. We all know shes full of not only herself but shit aswell. Lets all relax we all know the truth and all to soon so will his children if they dont already.

I know we all know what michael thought and we sure as hell know what the overly obsessed with Mj Oprah says. She thinks she is god incarnate but she will soon find out she is not. All the words oprah spews are not coated in solid gold and i for one will not bow at oprahs feet and wait for the gold to fall or hang on her every word. She is worthless to me she has no valid points or opinions. So in closing her show,her opinions means, to put it simply, jack shit to me. Sorry for the language but the truth is full of it.

You know, when all is said and done, it's the guardian/family members of these children who made the decision to have them appear on the show (and the previous appearances). Without consent from them it wouldn't happen. Oprah is not the guardian of these children.

Not that I'm blaming Katherine. Maybe I'm wrong but I believe she is being manipulated. Or maybe she truly believes this interview and having the children involved in it will be for the best for her son's legacy in the end. That it will be positive. I hope so. We'll see.

People on here should be aware that Oprah's interview would be MAINLY with Mama Kat. she had a backyard visit with the kids and Joe so the kids will be on screen for a couple of minutes.

and even then... does THAT make any difference? The fact the picture is making the rounds everywhere just shows the whole idea of she getting her hand on the kids: promotion and getting attention.

Is not Katherine who is attractive now. It's the kids. And by getting Katherine, she knew she would get to the kids.

By words and actions, Michael made his feelings very clear as it relates to his childrens privacy away from the media and public. This interview could paint MJ in the greatest of lights, but bottomline, Michael Jackson would NOT like this AT ALL!!!!

If Janet or Jackie or anybody else in that family wanna cosy up to Oprah, (while knowing what she thinks of their family member)......thats their decision, but to have the children be apart of this is just wrong.

I'm sorry to say this Michael, but you're gone now, what you want is obviously IRRELEVANT to some people.

BTW....just watch how she promotes this interview! This photo already tells you as much! It just bugs me to hell this woman is getting exactly what she wants yet again!

The problem with this interview is that it will open the floodgates, Katherine will be under great pressure to include the kids in more interviews.

Michael was able to resist that level of pressure because he knew the media too well. But with insiders like Joe wanting to make cash and being bribed heavily if he can manipulate Katherine, then life will be hard for her.

Anyone in the media knows that line Joe with bucks and he will do your bidding. Promise him $700,000 if he organises the deal and it comes through and he will stop at nothing.

Afterall, for such a show, the company makes multi-million dollars.

I wish MJ had included in his will that his kids should not be subjected to interviews/media till they were of age, but he didn't see it coming.

And Oprah's program scheduling is in jest i suppose after Randy called her out. She's using innuendo. If Oprah cared anything about MJ, she would have had Mesereau.

But her innuendo through programming is aimed at influencing her viewers after seeing the MJ show and is no coincidence by her or her staff.

Let's just pray for Katherine. MJ will have a good legacy, she shouldn't push it. Those who like him do, those who don't will not. There is no need to be hurt by letting in people she knows do not like him.
She would have faired better with an Ebony magazine feature. Atleast that would be on magazine shelves worldwide for a month and they treated MJ well, rather than a show like Oprah who treated MJ badly and carries on to display that jest after gaining access to MJ's kids.

This interview doesn't serve any real benefit other than to intrude into teh kids' personal lives.

The silver lining is that no matter what Oprah does in jest, MJ was a top earner last year.

Randy was right that Oprah should never have been let anywhere near MJ's kids.

that's the truth.

again: let's NOT fall in the trap of media, in their false promise of "come with me, give me your story and the people will know how good you are". They surely love Machiavelli's saying and will make the rounds now with "the end justifies the means".

They did that to Michael over and over again. Do we need any more? It's the media's way. But their ways are feed by those close to Michael himself.

No matter how good this thing might be, the buttomline is WRONG.

That may be true, but it doesn't change the fact that Oprah is full of s***!

She couldn't even publicly acknowledge their father's death when he first passed. She was at least being honest then. She didn't want any parts of Michael. He was guilty in her eyes, and not worthy of her attention. But now, it's like Jacksonville at Oprahville. I hope this interview is FINALLY the last of her hypocrisy.

Yeah I couldn't make out a mic on Joe either - I though perhaps it was because the darkness of his suit that it didn't show up?? But I was just replying to the OP's question about if there being mics on everyone. It seems that everyone is wearing one. I guess we'll find out how much of the children will be 'edited' in when the show airs. :(

I became physically ill when I witnessed Frank Dileo and other close associates mingling with and posing for photos with Ian Halperin at Michael's memorial just days after Ian made some of the most outlandish and sickening claims against Michael. The sick feeling grew as people like Corey Feldman were invited by the family to the private funeral. And then there's Joe who happens to hire Bryan Oxman as an attorney. Still, even after all these months nothing has changed as far as the family's insight into who they should or should not associate with for the good of Michael's image and for the beliefs that he worked so hard to abide by when he was here. Either that, or they simply put money above all else. I am gutted.....

If they are only going to be seen on screen for a few minutes or only talk for a short while, it doesn't make it any better. The kids have mics on. They are being used. Autumn II has it right. Even worse is Oprah's scheduling. She's doing this on purpose - she did it with LMP's interview and she's doing it again. She's pushing the same message - Michael is a pedophile and a hardcore drug addict.

Eventhough I don't like Oprah's agenda here when it comes to Michael (i.e. airing back to back shows about molestation around the same time she's doing a story about MJ), I am looking forward to seeing Katherine on the show. Maybe she will shed some positive light on what her son was all about instead of the usual negative BS we hear about.

But I cannot support Katherine or the Jackson family allowing MJ's kids to be interviewed. What were they thinking? Michael would not have liked this at all.

And this from Harpo rep about molestation show just before the Jackson show:

They really think we're stupid, do they?

IMO, the kids have no idea whatsoever of all the immense pain the medialoids did to their daddy. Michael sheltered them 24/7 and they watched very little TV. And Michael always made sure he turned magazines and newspapers around when he was on the cover.

Like I said in some other post, TAJ REALLY needs to have a private chat with the kids because these children live in a protected environment surrounded by who knows who.

This photo makes me sad. It looks like they've moved on quicker than some of us that loved Michael for a lot more years than his kids.

So depressing.

Even if they show the kids 10 seconds it's the image of that picture and all it represents feels so wrong. It really is sad and hits home that Michael isn't here anymore. I feel bad for them when they realize what Oprah did to their father and then this.

I don't understand anyone in the family talking and laughing with someone who thinks your brother hurt children. I don't understand how you can turn a blind eye to that. I couldn't do it.
