Michael Jackson feat. 50 cent - MONSTER - its the real deal says 50 -READ!

Well not really, because up until I heard Breaking News for the first time. The idea of it being fake was totally ludicrous to me.

I kept saying 'The Jacksons are going to look so stupid on Monday morning'. I was at the point where I was really starting to think....whats with these people? Why are they allways starting this crap?

The idea that The Jacksons might be telling the truth didnt even cross my mind.

THEN I heard Breaking News and it all became clear to me.

To further my point, I heard 'Do You Know Where Your Children Are' and 'Monster' at around the same time. I wasnt aware that Monster was a Cascio track. I heard 'DYKWYCA' and a smile came across my face and I got chills, thats what happens when you hear Michael's voice. You know instantly.

Then I heard 'Monster' and thought, what the hell is this? This isnt Michael....I heard it was a Cascio track afterwards.

My opinion is based on nothing but my own hearing. I hear these songs and it doesnt sound like him to me. Theres nothing else to it. I'm not stupid, if I had a pre-conceived notion in my head which influenced my hearing then I think i'd be at least be a little bit aware of it.

maybe the "Breaking News" song is just stuck on your head...

2 days after i forgot BN, i listen to Monster, then i feel like MJ singing "Jam" in "threatened"

I'm willing to bet my lifes allowance that if the Jacksons had never said anything, majority of you wouldn't be saying this fake stuff. You'd just assume it was another 2000 watts type of recording.

Well, say goodbye to your life's allowance.

Do you even remember what the forum was like in the days before Breaking News? The forum was pretty much anti Jackson family.

'Why are they saying this? Why are they allways trying to start crap?'

I was one of those people. I didnt even consider the idea that the songs might actually end up being fake. Until I actually heard the song.

Please stop saying that, we are all more than capable of creating our own opinions without being influenced by what others are saying.

If there is one thing being an MJ fan has taught me, its that.

he is right tho. just the mere fact that they said oh its fake made people on here, even if they were pro album, question it when the single hit just to prove the jacksons wrong. then they here overproduced vocals and bam the conspiracy in every human comes out,

Exactly, i was just like that. Actually already at the BN snippet i was questioning it...

I still shrugged all those comments from TMZ off though, TMZ claimed the Jackson's said this and that, and i was like...sure whatever. Then i heard BN, and like alot of people...it just wasn't right...at all. It's still not right. I have a feeling Monster could cause the same reaction...not sure though. BUT if it IS Michael, than it has been stacked just so ridiculously much...that you can barely recognize him.

He's not right at all though...

This may have been the case for some people, but I can only speak for myself and a few others in saying that the only thing that has influenced my opnion on this is my own hearing.

You all keep saying over and over again, why cant you just accept what your told? (in regards to the estate). Well why cant you all just accept what I am saying? I am telling you myself that all the rumours before hand have not influenced my opinion and you dont seem to want to believe it.

Just accept it and move on. Is it really that hard to comprehend? The idea that we dont think its Michael on the lead vocals, simply because we think it doesnt sound like him?

sometimes things influence us even if we dont notice, like subliminally or something. Im not saying its the case, but things sometimes influence without notice

Not something that you were totally against.

I would understand if I had first listened to Breaking News with the idea in my head that it might end up being fake. But I was literally completely against the idea up until the very moment the vocals kicked in.

BUT if the idea gets to you just a tiny little bit, only hearing it makes a change, but whatever i dont know about the subject.
Im looking forward to the song too!

I do, and I do remember those comments, and neither did I mention you personally in that post. I said most of you, sure you and a few others (in your words) may be going by what you hear. And I know the majority will say that, now that I brought it up, but it's not true, a seed was planted. If that was never said about these recordings initially, I guarantee this big fuss over the Cascio material wouldn't be going on. There would be a few of us who would still have our doubts, but this universal "It's fake" campaign would not be happening if it wasn't for the Jackson's initial statement regarding the songs. I just don't see that being the case, and the fact that many of our fellow MJJC members quoted the Jackson family after the song released only adds to that theory.

No one is attacking your opinion, nor is anyone stressed over an opinion of yours. It's just so blatantly obvious why this situation has gotten as big as it has over the recent weeks.

I'm not talking about just my posts. Literally everyone in here was against what the Jacksons were saying.

The majority of the posts you will find from before that Monday will consist of complaining about the Jacksons. You will find very few (if any at all) that even remotely suggest they are buying into what the Jacksons were saying.

I think people just genuinely dont think it sounds like him and that is the only thing that has influenced our opinion. We arent stupid.

People allways bring up 2000 Watts. 2000 Watts is completely different. The pronounciation of words is the same as Michael's. Thats the main problem with Breaking News, Monster and Keep Your Head Up, the way certain words are pronounced are not the way Michael would pronounce them.

If it was true that our opinions may have been influenced by rumours before hand, then how come that hasn't applied to songs like Much Too Soon or Do You Know Where Your Children Are?

As I mentioned before. I heard the snippets of DYKWYCA and Monster at around the same time. I wasnt aware that Monster was a Cascio track. I listened to the 'DYKWYCA' and got chills, the same chills you allways get when hearing an MJ song for the first time. Then I heard 'Monster' and I just thought...this isnt Michael. Because those tracks aren't apart of the Cascio song collection....People may have been against the Jacksons, but that's because they never took it into consideration that these songs would be overproduced and overdubbed in order to fit todays standards of what hit records should be. Many just assumed "Oh it's Michael, they're classic, leave it that way", not considering that the sound of the equipment used in the initial setting would be dated, that comes across on records, and it's very noticeable when compared to today's music. Many of us heard a song that's produced just as normally as records of today are, then we remembered the statements coming from the Jackson's and put two and two together. And again, the fact that so many of us quoted the Jacksons statements after the song was streamed only adds to my initial belief.

And I strongly believe, some of us are calling these songs fake for asinine reasons. I can understand Breaking News, I even doubted it initially, but what's to doubt about Keep Your Head Up? Many people heard the ES ad-libs at the end and immediately wrote it off as fake. I haven't seen much said about the actual vocals on the song, and you can't tell me it's that Malachi lad, because the voices aren't even remotely similar, in many of the comparison videos they compare the vibrato, literally the end of every bar (lines in music) is the only thing on those videos. Instead of comparing the lines of the song, parts of the verse, or anything, it's the end of every line. Unless they invented some new "Sound like Michael Jackson Autotune" how can anyone say that's who it is?

But again, I'm not trying to rile you up, and forgive me if I have. I'm just speaking on what I've seen and the backlash that happened after BN was released and the many, many quotes of the Jackson family posted by members of our community. But I don't want this to explode into something it isn't. So if it's fine with you, I'll just agree to disagree.

People werent aware if they were Cascio or not though when the snippets came out.....

When Much Too Soon came, we all said it was 100% without a doubt Michael. We werent aware whether it was a Cascio track or not.

With or without the Jacksons saying anything about songs being fake, I believe that after hearing BN some people would have notice something off about the song anyways! Because people like Jason Malachi are all over Youtube and someone would have pointed it out! I myself have songs on a CD mixed in with MJ and Jason when I bought 32 DVDs of MJ that came in a brief case and a CD with almost all MJ songs and with some Jason Malachi songs!

Many people unfortunately bought this and probably thought all these Jason songs were unreleased MJ tracks! But, I knew right away that those were no MJ tracks! And this was way before BN! And I was right when I found those same damn songs on Youtube!

So when I heard BN I knew that was not MJ vocals, at least not 100%! I'm not saying it's Jason either but, it was definitely someone trying to be MJ like I heard before! So, I speak for myself that the Jackson family had nothing to do with influencing me at all! I simply knew from just hearing BN and from having those phony MJ tracks from that Cd I bought that this wasn't right!

L.T.D. what about 'Shout'?

Lets put it this way. I heard 'Shout' for the first time after I downloaded one of those fake albums called '7even' from the internet. It was in the middle of some real songs and some fake songs from Jason Malachi. I hadnt even heard of Shout before, but was easily about the distinguish it from the fake songs quite easily and knew it was a real MJ song.

Can't you guys understand that LTD is one with the cosmic force that is Michael Jackson and he knows when it's not MJ even when the impersonator sounds more or less indentical? God.

Sadly, people will never understand this :(

2000 Watts and Shout are not even comparable to the questionable tracks to me. I bought 2000 Watts on the Invincible album and Shout on the Cry single... both released when Michael Jackson was alive... Plus, they have Michael Jackson's diction, trademarks... things that I feel are missing from the Monster snippet.

I disagree. I know you feel strongly that the rumors are the cause of this, and that's cool, but trust when I tell you that it had NO influence on me. When the snippets leaked, I still held out hope that maybe the rest of the songs would sound like Michael Jackson, and that would convince me that the vocals on Breaking News were, indeed, those of Michael Jackson. No such luck.

There may be no convincing you, but all I can tell you is that for me, The Jackson rumors held no bearing on my opinion. Not only that, I didn't have anything against the Jacksons because I didn't even know if they had actually said anything. I felt the rumors were altogether false: I figured the songs were real, and that The Jacksons had never even claimed they were fake.

50 Cent's involvement in this also baffles me.

It actually makes me believe that the 'MJ Vocals' we have heard from these songs already will not be what we hear on the album.

Thank you for the bolded. I also saw this suitcase last year and was thinking about buying it but was cautious about the source. Thanks so much for revealing this.

I agree--before Monday everyone was excited about BN, and I remember we stayed up that night (morning for some) waiting for the stream. The first few comments after the stream was filled with varying degrees of uncertainty. People simply need to go and revisit that thread from Sunday to Monday and see the difference.

We've known MJ and 50 were working together for years.

I agree with LTD too though, you can clearly hear MJ on Shout, i still DO NOT hear Michael on Breaking News, and certainlyyyyyy NOT on the lead vocals, hell naw.

As for Michael working with 50...wasn't it only known that he was working or in talks with his DJ? Doesn't nessecarily mean working with 50 plans though.

Yes, he did indeed get in touch with DJ Whoo Kid a few years ago.

MJ never worked with 50 Cent though, his rap for "Monster" was recorded in 2010.

I am aware that he was supposed to have worked with 50 Cent. . . .

What baffles me is that I think the song is fake, yet it is supposed to be a collaboration with 50 Cent.
