Michael Jackson feat. 50 cent - MONSTER - its the real deal says 50 -READ!

They have used the same "ha" throughout the whole song.

During a recording process how many "ha's" do you think MJ normally makes?

Nice use of "aoow" from Escape too :S

I especially like the HA ! :)
It is so Michael.
I must admit I was even afraid to listen to the song after reading all those bull that were said.
I love it !Just love it. :)

*lol* Pull the cheese out of your ears

Eh? He was just stating his opinion that he finds the song average and the 'HA' annoying.

You need to get your head out of your ass, just because someone doesnt agree with you about the song they need their ears checked?

Honestly, the doubters have been coming across a lot better than the believers recently. It wasnt allways that way, there was a point where I was ashamed to share the same opinion as some people on here. But not anymore. Some of you are acting terribly.

I am going to agree with this. There was a time when so much negativity was said from people who thought some songs were fake. The tone and edge in their posts was so strong that people who did not agree were relegated to be simpletons who were deaf and stupid. And they often were met with harsh words to the point that they felt like they did not have a communitty to go to.

Now I feel it is not polar opposites, but close.

there are some people on both sides that are destroying MJ's community. The same jabs that those who thought they were MJ reported and complained about (ie. that they were deaf, not true fans, hurting MJ's legacy, idiots, dumb, etc, etc) are now being used verbatim by some of the same people. I mean it really is quite astounding. And it is very hurtful. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It's sad that whichever side feels it is in the majority takes it upon themselves to deride the other side until they are almost nothing and then point to them as the being the sole perpetrators of the problem.

I find it very disheartening. And the fact that staunch supporters of either opinion cannot find it in themselves to come together and let people have their say and their opinion is a slap in everyone's face.

It's sad that MJ's legacy will end up short lived and cut down by the very people he lived his life for. because if you think the various MJ communities will survive long term with this kind of in fighting than forget it. Think again. The best way to demolish a house is from with in. A house divided cannot stand. I don't know who is trying to destroy MJ and is following this mantra. But they are genuises at exceution. It is working like a charm.

A song of the same name isn't proof of anything one way or the other unless we can hear it.

One More Chance, for instance - recorded by The J5, Randy (and The Jacksons on Victory), and Michael Jackson. All three different songs.

Yes, it´s a different song

It´s about a man who want to suicide because drugs, look this paper from 1999:

First, there is no cheese in my ears.

I heard the complete Monster the first time streamed from michaeljackson.com. I hope I'm allowed to say the vocal does sound different. Is it becasue of the way Sony streams the song again?

Oh boy, whatever the producers did, they managed to change Michael's timbre. I am going to listen the album and see if it sounds better. I'm really willing to warm up to it.

@iso_b

Very cool video!
Nice montage

It fits the song and DANG, Michael can dance:wild:

imo this is the best song of the album :punk:

I agree. The lyrics are so poignant. When Michael sing

You're giving your all
They're watching you fall

That voice.
I just lost it.
The flood gate opened like the cry baby that I am. Hee hee.

YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH....
and they eat your soulllllll

Unbelievable:wild:

I know this is a Cascio track and we're supposed to hate the big bad Cascios BUT I can't help but love this track. I think it's one of the most stand out tracks on the album. I love the "Ha's". I especially love the "Too Bad" melody. In general, I think the Cascio tracks are really good commercial tracks. My favorite tracks on the album however are "Best Of Joy" and "Behind The Mask". I know Michael didn't get final approval, but those are brilliant tracks. Fantastic! So anyway, yeah, I give "Monster" love. It's slick.

I read a interview teddy riley gave about monster. He said the first version they gave him was a very slow tempo version...he obviously made it faster and funkier like to bad, which im guessin he had to adjust the tempo of mj's voice to match the newer beat...this obviously changes the sound of the voice...

I'm sorry guys, but we cannot have videos of copyrighted material. I think if it is fan made, we can have it in 2000 Watts, but I am really not absolutely sure. We will have to ask Gaz. I'm really sorry about that, Your video was cool. I hope we can all enjoy it.

Also, posts that just say, "It's fake", "It's not MJ", "It's MJ", "It is real"; will be deleted.

Thank you.

Ok, I've just compared 'let me let go' to 'monster' and it is the same voice....I cant beleive it I've been sitting on the fence ever since BN was released as I had suspicion.

So 2 things -

1. Either this Jason Malachi who sang 'let me let go' sang Monster or.....
2. Michael Jackson sang Monster, and IF MJ really did sing Monster then this Jason Malachi is F^&@ing amazing even more better then I thought and is as good as MJ as a singer....but I don't think he is as good as MJ so that questions Monster and now the other Cascio songs!?

So very sadly I dont think I will buy this album now.

The verse 50 Cent is singing is SO extremely overproduced! There are so many soundeffects and they're extremely weird too (It actually sounds like the CD is damaged) and the "HA!" is pasted in this verse about more than 10 times. It's annyoing!

Putting to one side that to me the vocals sound like Malachi, this argument I could probably accept. I'd have to hear the vocals slowed down again though to believe it's MJ.

I'll take number 2 cuz Jason tried to copy MJ voice, i even disliked and said "STOP SOUNDING LIKE MJ" to his vid. lol

JM sounds like MJ, but MJ's voice and accent sounds fresher and recognizable to me.

Right. I planned to edit it out when I get my CD. Hee hee.
