I got it at Target.... it was 12 pm and I was the only one who bought the album

I got it today and I'm in the second listen. I just loooove it! Every song is divine. I LOVE Monster, BN, KYHU (so inspirational- beautiful vocals), HT, AD, Best of Joy and Much Too Soon, just beautiful melodies and ballands. They You love me I think is better than the original. I think this is a materpiece. Just amazing!:clapping::clapping:

So much for what was supposed to be big promotion at walmart i guess! I got there at 11 am and they didn't have any posters, displays or the album on the shelves! I walked around to see if they'd get it out later and when I went back they still didn't have it. I asked for them to look in the back and they said they didn't have anyone to check the back yet...so I went back 2 hours later and they still didn't have anything out. I asked and they just gave me 2 copies from a box.

Hope they actually put it out after I left...

I got mine today. I gotta say.... it's a great album. Monster HAS to be the next single. It has all the elements to be a big chart hit especially among the general public. It's among my favorites on the album. Best Of Joy is another favorite...I love it! Hollywood Tonight is awesome. Overall, a solid LP. It's calmer then most MJ albums but it's a nice change. MJ could have made the songs much better of course, but I will take this!

I agree, I really think Monster should be the next single. It is awesome. I can imagine a great video along with it. too. GREAT album, just great!

i got my album at around 3 this afternoon.... I have listened to it twice... for the life of me Monster does NOT sound like michael.

please refrain from comments such as "fans with ears" etc. just respect other people's opinions and do not use inferior sounding terms

Got my copies of MICHAEL! YES. Bought two from HMV and one from Sunrise Records. I long to see line-ups for new CD releases.. what a shame. But it was at the front of the stores I went to.

I'm waiting for my other copy to arrive. It might be in the mailbox right now..

I officially feel like a fool here waiting for my original CD to arrive while avoiding listening to the whole thing on line.

I am having serious doubts with my respect and love for the old-fashion way, to be honest.

Picked up my copy at Best Buy this morning! Sounds amazing in the car! By the way, a guy in front of me in the checkout line bought two copies! So exciting! :wild:

I bought mine at Best Buy a few minutes from my job this morning. I listened to it on the way back just now and...in three words...AM-A-ZING!

-"Hold My Hand (Duet w/Akon)"
I loved it the minute I heard it last month.

-"Hollywood Tonight"
I love the tempo on this one. A rough cut Michael did, but as always, like to get the story told.

-"Keep Your Head Up"
One of the Cascio tracks many of you are questioning. It sounds like Michael did a few more takes on this one out of the three on the album. Heavy editing of course. However, great message, especially for today.

-"(I Like) The Way You Love Me"
I loved it when I first heard it on "The Ultimate Collection." Totally different take on the album. Nice touch on the intro on how Michael wanted it to sound. The instruments are wonderful.

-"Monster (feat. 50 Cent)"
Yes, I can hear this on the radio and clubs. Another heavy-edited song obviously. I don't really care about 50 at all. Nice groove.

-"Best Of Joy"
Already, one of my favorite songs, ever! It has that Janet feel to it. The bridge has that Bee-Gees vibe. Michael's falsetto is just out-of-this world!

-"Breaking News"
When I first heard it, I did too question the authenticity of the vocals. Another heavy-edited song. Sounds like Michael did only a few (count three fingers) takes and probably didn't think it was good enough. However, the song's nice.

-"(I Can't Make It) Another Day (feat. Lenny Kravitz)"
Love it! Michael sings softly and then...BAM! I can vision Michael and Lenny rocking this in concert.

-"Behind The Mask"
Wow! The intro was sexy. The beat is just non-stop dancing! I still didn't understand why this didn't make the cut for "Thriller." Anyway, we got it now. Another favorite.

-"Much Too Soon"
A genuine folk song. Perfect way to end the album. Hearing that voice sends me chills.

All in all, I enjoy it. I want to thank all of those who worked pretty hard on this project. Posthumous projects are very hard to come by. Especially this one. However, I am looking forward for more to come.

Thank you once again, Michael Jackson!

here's my CD's. I'll probably also get a digital copy.

(and yes to my satisfaction Amazon kept release date delivery promise)

The more I listen to this I really love Best Of Joy. It's an amazing song, in my top 3 on the whole album.

"We'll never part...our love is from the heart" , wow that line is freaking incredible. Gives me goosebumps

I got it!! After Walmart was sold out I went to HMV and I bought it. I noticed it was already #1 in the chart section. It was in both new release and chart section. Now I have to listen to it. I did listen to Hollywood tonight on my ipod because I got the album on itunes. Is that Michael beating in the beginning? If it is I don't know how he did that. I liked it a lot.

my brother braved the snow to get me the cd today like he promised hes errither crazy or he really loves me

Got mine this afternoon, on the US release date. Got three copies, actually (two of which are gifts). Picked up Vision, as well.

A friend of mine who shares a mutual love for MJ and music in general is working on Christmas day, so I'm going to drop by and suprise her with this. :)

The album itself is fantastic! The songs turned out wonderful (so many potential hits, and Best of Joy is simply angelic), and the project was very obviously a labor of love, put together very tastefully. The liner notes are perfect, and the full scale picture of the painting within is simply beauitful.

Put aside all this tasteless controversy and enjoy these gifts Michael left behind. He would love to know that it's bringing people so much joy and inspiration. It's just a shame he isn't here to see it himself.
