Preliminary Hearing 11/1/11. Day Six. Discussion Thread

some cases offer two options. murder or M.S the da had many options including obstruction of justice many times over .but nothing.

4 Years is a joke. I can almost guarantee that after 4 EASY years, Murray would come out and make millions off of MJ's name.

He should be facing more than 4 years IMO. 4 years is just a laughable.
know what if he serves only 4 years....when he comes out..he has to step out into a world full of MJ fans.....he shouldn't be so happy about that....

Murray's medical licence is indeed suspended

I saw a tiny discussion about grand jury vs prelim hearing.

Im not familiar at all with the american juridic system so got questions for u who are.

Whats the difference between those two and why did the D.A chose prelim and not grand jury?

4 years for murder (technically)... Yet, you have some people accused of murder in jail for 25+ years, only to be found innocent later on.
Just doesn't make sense to me.

its not even 4 years. get that ie the mx sentence u will be lucky to do 2. all i hope for is he leaves prison in a box. 2 years for mjs name to be dragged through the mud yet again.only in the usa is mjs life treated in such a worthless mannor

Dr. Conrad Murray's Medical License SUSPENDED

Dr. Conrad Murray's medical license has just been suspended.

Judge Michael Pastor just ordered the suspension, as a condition to Dr. Murray's bail in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case.

The Medical Board of California has asked the court twice before to yank Murray's license, to no avail. But minutes after ordering Murray to stand trial, Judge Pastor granted the request.

Dr. Murray has 24 hours to notify the medical boards in Texas and Nevada of Judge Pastor's decision.

GJ is done in secret. the defence arent there dont get to hear the evidence.no idea why he chose a prelim when nothing has come from it

We all knew this would go to trail anyway... It's a pity the charges will stand at IV.

he was never a ''doctor'' to begin with, this stupid SOB I hope he dies. I will not be resting until I see this man is 7 foot under, and if this makes me a monster so be it. He took another man's life he should loose his life as well.

"He also said Jackson's health may have been a contributing cause "

oh really? I did not know that "excellent" health contribute to death

Exactly, and Murray was MJ's personal physician, he of all folks should've known about MJ's health. He obviously thought MJ was healthy enough to be shot up with loads of sedatives and propofol.

Okay, this right here......dumb, dumb, dumb! If we did'nt realise that the defence has NOTHING before, this right here proves it!

So true!

For some strange reason i think a prelim hearing was done to show the defence that Murray's ass is truly screwed opening the opportunity for a plea deal. Michael Jackson never had the luck of getting 'true' justice, for some reason its like his life does'nt really matter!

Could they suspend his license in Texas and Nevada too?
yes it will prob happen pretty quick. they were wanting to ages ago but needed his cali licence to go first. once it goes in one state it goes in the others pretty quick from whats been said

So Grand Jury is done in secret?? I remember it now.. gosh, thats why and how T-Mez found out Gavin had touched the magazines right? He was reading the transcripts from the grand jury and someone had said 'isnt the boy suppose to wear gloves?'.. i remember now, thanks..

and so its up to the D.A to freely decide if he wants a grand jury or a prelim? he can just pick and choose?

usually when one state suspends a license, the others will follow.
