A music video for (murdered) Michael Jackson's single "Hollywood Tonight" was shot in the wee hours earlier this morning outside the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. The lead role was taken by a female dancer who successfully performed the King of Pop's signature moves---including his patented Moonwalk as cars whizzed by!

Once again, it's very sad how Michael Jackson's legacy is being hijacked and raped by lawyers, "friends" of the family and even financially motivated family members. I guess that's the painful price of fame & fortune.

It's obviously someone who is trying to get views for his blog by the MJ fans.Like so many out there. The comments there are a bit frustrating actually. So don't bother to visit.

Aww..Great for her! :punk: She's a very talented and beautiful dancer :)

oh yes she is.. and a very beautiful person inside too...she is one of the most espiritual persons i ever met in my life... she is pure love and a huge Michael Jackson fan...

I honestly am looking forward to seeing it. And I think the new mix sounds awesome - I can't wait to hear it in good quality.

Awww please tell your friend sofia she's an awesome dancer

Quite frankly, I have no interest in a video without footage of Michael. I think some fan-made videos with rare footage and montages will probably be more creative than official estate-endorsed videos.

I HATE them using a woman to dance a Michaelish part! Will just lead to comments from haters.

Exactly! First it's damn Sony for not promoting the album, then it's damn Sony for promoting it. I wish people could make up their minds!

They'd have to have a mind to begin with...pea brains don't count.

Not sure why people are complaining about a woman playing the part of MJ! She's most likely going to be the girl in the song who's "going to Hollywood".

Hollywood Tonight is about a girl going to Hollywood to looking for fame.
So, it makes sense to have a girl as main character of the video.

Disgusting video. They're reducing Michael Jackson to a novelty act. He was more than a hat and a glove! He was a SERIOUS musician with a SERIOUS message. The song's about a girl who prostitutes herself in order to get into showbiz - 'she's giving hot tricks to men just to get in...' - so I've got no idea what all the smiling faces are about.

This is just absolutely typical!

If she has to give 'hot tricks to men just to get in' why has she got such a big smile on her face?

Unreal. I remember years ago that Jackie Wilson's 'Reet Petite' was re-released in the mid-80s and they designed this hideous claymation video to go with it. Song went to number one, and a generation of people associated Jackie Wilson with that hideous video for evermore.

Michael Jackson wasn't a hat. He wasn't a glove. He was a cultural, social and political phenomenon.

Disgusting.

Oh wow. Is she single?

dumbasses the song has a STORYLINE follow the fuckin story! damn how ignorant can they be!

I'm startin to love this :) It would be awesome if they danced in front of gigantic Michael Jackson billboard ...and follow the story of course!

It makes me really sad that you guys don't like this...
Maybe the storyline will be involved, why are you hating on everything related to this project? Is there anything you would like? It's like you will bring back Michael by getting old footage of him, or a storyline or whatever it is that you want from this video.

Can't we just cherish what we get? The video may not be following the storyline and Sony may always suck at promoting Michael, but you can't say that these dancers are not great, and that this is not paying tribute to Michael's art... And the video is made like this to appeal to people, to a large number of people - and get the song and the album out there...

We should really be more supportive - it may not be the best, but it is the reality and it is the only reality there is. Why don't we just be a little bit more positive and focus on promoting and hoping that the song will be a hit, as it deserves to be?
