You'd think that would be the case wouldn't you but there are already people posting on other forums saying that Murray wasn't guilty & that it was MJ's fault for paying any price to get the drug he wanted! It's unbelievealbe!

know what Boween,,,I say **** what those people have to say...Michael Jackson was MURDERED by his DOCTOR................. Conrad Robert Murray..And THAT is on record now.....the haters can go to HELL!!!

So happy to see cm treated as a convicted felon (that has such a good sound to it). Judge Pastor gave him no special treatment just because he was a doctor, pointed out that he has strong ties outside of this country thus could be a flight risk. Oh it was so gratifying to see him being handcuffed and for just a fleeting moment I thought I saw something like fear cross his face. Or maybe it was disbelief that he was going to jail with all those nice people, the upper echelons of society.
I wonder how many fans of Michael he will meet...?

At the end of the day it really was cm on trial, after all.
Michael, may you rest in peace.

For the historical record that shows Michael Jackson did not cause his own death but was killed I am happy for that.. and for whatever closure it could give his family I find happiness.. Aside from that I find no happiness..

I cannot find it in me to find joy on watching Murray to be in cuffs, but at the same time don't find 4 years enough for what he has done.. It's a very contradicting feeling...

Michael is not coming back.. Nothing can change that now! But I am glad historically its been shown he did not die at his own cause. Thats the remaining feeling I hold on to

Wow, you really summed up perfectly what I am feeling.

Haters will hate, there's no helping them. I'm talking about the general public and history as a total. The internet troll can whine, but it's on the record now.

Murray killed Michael.

those r stupid irrational haters, and they r mad mj was not blamed for his own death .
Exactly, ignore the trolls and haters.

No matter what ANYONE says now, the history books will document that someone else did this to Michael, that's all that matters, that was the most important issue here. Conrad Murray being convicted is a relief for his legacy like others have stated previously. All of us were in this fully aware knowing that he wouldn't serve a life sentence and/or that the conviction can't bring Michael back, but we wanted it on record. We believed in this man so strongly, we believed in him, on June 25 2009, when Oxman, Chopra, Schmuley, and God knows who else were shouting addict, we shook our heads in disbelief and fought against it. We were made fun of, and ridiculed for sticking to and believing in him, but at the end of the day it all paid off.

WTF SkyNews??? "clearly he was an addict and had the money to fuel his addiction" What trial were they following???

I know, but did you hear what Michael McParland said in response? He has become my new hero, someone who is not necessarily a fan but who can still see the truth.

I wonder if the jury will be interviewed like after the MJ trial.... but what was that 90 day mentioning the judge stated

From what I've read, he will not be with the general prison population and will have a private cell.

Well, they can't sell their story just yet... there are big bucks to be made from this. As always.

Something that's doing my head in, is so many people on Twitter are saying how Conrad Murray was innocent, Michael was just an addict trying to get his fix, whatever, when they've never seen any evidence from the trial! Have they watched the trial and seen the Prosecution experts talking? Have they heard the cross-examinations from Walgren? No! They no absolutely nothing about the ins and outs of the case, but then feel they have the right to pass judgement. They don't realise that Murray agreed to give him Propofol. He left him without supervision and without the correct equipment. He delayed calling 911, and the lied to the paramedics and medical staff about what he had given Michael. So, before they start spouting crap, they should have actually watched some of the coverage. Dumb idiots. Hell, I know people who aren't even fans of Michael, but they've watched the trial and even they admit Murray was a dumb sh*t.

Let them talk, media is mad they couldn't pin Michael's death on himself. In their eyes Michael 'got away' again. They're just furious that their brainwashing didn't help them get the desired verdict. They can propagate what they want this trial and even the 2005 one, has shown again and again that people rather think for themselves, than let the media dictate their thoughts. Seeing Conrad Murray in handcuffs, feels like Michael is being vindicated all over again, now there's corrupt D.A's, police officers, hateful propaganda by various media outlets etc(2005 case, referrence), but the justice system, always vindicated/s Michael, they always saw the truth and made the right decision, and for that I'm thankful.

Exactly. The people that I've seen and read saying things like "Michael was a drug addict" and "it's not Murray's fault, MJ would have gone to another Dr. to get his fix" clearly haven't watched/followed the trial and you can see it in the statements they use to defend Murray.

A Message from John Branca and John McClain, Co-Executors of The Estate of Michael Jackson
The Estate of Michael Jackson and Michael himself has always believed the jury system works and despite the tragedy that brought about this trial we are in agreement with the jury's verdict. In this case Justice has been served. Michael is missed on a daily basis but his genius and his music will be with us forever. He is "the greatest entertainer that has ever lived"

If Murray will appeal this won't end at this unfortunatelly.

Guilty

What news to wake up to, I am so happy and relieved. Thank you to the Prosecution team, for their awesome job and the Juroros for reaching the right verdict :D

Yes, I have already had a "nice" chat with a guy who came with all the old talk about MJ being a p*** and how fans are crazy for screaming for justice all this years.
THe guy had no idea of anything, yet, he truly believed in his "words", which he was clearly repeating as a parrot from what he heard of another hater on tv or who knows where. When presented facts, the guy said he gave a s***... so... what's the matter here? They believe they have "facts". When you prove them wrong and show them fact, they don't want to see them. So?

I AM GLAD TO BE THE ONE TO MAKE MY OWN DECITION AND NOT TO SIMPLY DO WHAT MEDIA AND THE WORLD WANTS ME TO DO!!!

Ugh I can't believe (or maybe I should believe) the ignorant comments about the verdict on Geraldo Rivera's Facebook. And by the way, I noticed the Geraldo did not cover the trial at all. I was certain he would cover it on some capacity.

JUSTICE for Michael!

Thank you to the Prosecution for a job well done!

I'm so glad. This was the right decision. Anything else would have been unjust.

Victory! Really there could have been no other verdict than guilty. I'm glad this is all over with. It's been agonzing, depressing, and exhausting following this trial, but I always knew the jurors would come to the right decision. I'm also glad he went right to jail with no bail. I don't really care about sentencing at this point. I'm just ready to feel the relief it's over and just honor Michael's memory and keep his legacy alive. I don't want to think about Murray anymore.
