I am waiting for the album too. But it's great to see the joy and excitement with everyone. I haven't heard LNFSG on the radio yet but one station mentioned the sony phone and mentioned the album. That was good.

After having learned the lyrics by heart I am now able to sing along (glad my girlfriend is not home! :lol: )

Being able to sing along just makes the song (if possible) even BETTER !!!

I'm so in love with MJ's vocals on Chicago... might become my new favorite song, it's THAT good!

Here's hoping he has more songs like this one in his vault!

I really honestly can not believe it still has not leaked!! - In 2014 that is amazing!!! - 4 days till it is released in many countries, yet still no leaks!! How is that even possible!!

SONY and Estate - great job!! - So happy it has not leaked - no leaks - no sales damage! :)

billboard magazine said he completed around 40 tracks per album plus the tracks he did post invincible, i'm sure there are many that are of extremely high standard.. highly anxious to hear the demo of Chicago! i do love timbaland's mix a lot though, he seems to have done very well as lead producer! kudo's

Dont really like chicago. never been a fan of fake music ie music created by machines. while mjs vocals in the chorus are great the music and vocals to me just dont fit together at all. to me u can tell straight off the song would have never had sounded like that.

You do realize that keyboards, drum machines, hardware sequencers, tape machines, mixing consoles, etc. are all machines...right? So you just don't like music?

Physically real drums,guitars etc and the sound they create is what i mean interms of creating music and hearing that on a record.ive never been a fan of "music" that is created by people pushing buttons on a machine and what that then sounds like ie a dance music type of sound. eg bryan loren productions and producers like timberland.machines are of course used to help produce abd polish but you can obviously tell the difference of a sound created on a machine and one created in the studio with real people and instruments

I totally don't hear that in this song, though. I love guitars and live drums too, don't get me wrong, but why should everything have that sound? Chicago is very keyboard heavy. So are most of Michael's songs. Programmed drums have been a huge staple in Michael's catalog going back to Thriller. Don't see how this could have been created with the push of a few buttons. Take it from a musician who records his own music - even when you are programming something (like drums), you have to know what you're doing. There's no magical button you're pushing.

We'll be strong together lol. The excitement is just killing me! I have everyone hyped about the album at my house ^_^ but we all made a bet on whether or not I can stay sober from MJD until the 13th. xD I'm gonna have to help this withdrawal maaaan!

That's exactly why they are releasing the Deluxe and this is exactly why they should have done the same with MICHAEL. Some people will prefer original versions, some new versions. Win-win situation.

Some of the songs which have to me an element of that sound in them. no im not a huge fan. say i dunno off the top of my head tabloid junkie scream or 2bad for example

@Hess, do you know the danish release date? I see conflicting dates, some say Friday, some say Monday. Stereo studio has it listed as Monday....

very true. ill be intrested to hear the originals to see how they differ. And to see how far mj got with them. but chicago to me feels like timberland has just done what timberland does without thinking about the vocals and how would mj have made the song and tried to work on it from that view point.

I won't insult the contemporized version of chicago as i adore the way it was produced, of course when Michael sing's ''smile'' it does seem different but that doesn't take away from the rest of the song. It's a classic, people shouldn't nit pick. This is the time to celebrate Michael's legacy, if fans get down on the song.. what will the public think?

Agree with you 100%.....for me its just sounds weird and thats why I hope I will enjoy the original much more :)

Regarding leak.....I also find it "strange" that it hasnt surfaced yet.....but I`ll` guess it will happen anytime now.

I'll forgive you, seeing as we're both from Leeds ;)

I'd normally agree with you in all fairness. I just think that on HIStory he got the balance just right. The anger and frustration in the lyrics needed backing up with a harder and sharper sound. And that's also why I love that he ended the album with a softer track such as Smile which has a lush, orchestral sound that again mirrored the sentiment of the song.

no ones getting down zakk.the public dont care what we are saying one way or the other.we are just giving our opinions. we dont have to say omg thats the best thing ever if we arent really into it. Im sure theres mj tracks from down the years that we dont like. you arent a bad fan if you dont love everything and u know if someone says they are loving "girlfriend" they are lieing LOL

ive never like timberlands production since when he first came on the scene because of the things ive outlined above so its no biggy to me
