Rasta, Janet is not even in the top 50 very sad just being honest she's no where to be found and the no.50 album at this point is at 7,542 copies probably be like at maybe 8k when this thing is done.

I sooooo agree with ur sentiments. I was doing so good with the patience thing until recently LOL Now its getting harder and harder lol
 
Wow.....poor Janet. I really did like some things from this album, but have yet to buy it. She really is a good artist, much better than some of the artists who are on the top40 as we speak.

Oh well, what can you do. The music industry changes every month it seems like.

it wears back off and I can handel myself.. but at those moments it's crazy..


But u know what, when we look back, we'll think of the wait as FUN.. Yes we'll be happy that we finally got it, and the new era is on it's way etc..

But just like waiting for christmas when ur a kid.. it's the SEASON that's magical, not just the day..
 
Why do I get the feeling it won't be in the form of an announcement of a release date? Why does my mind keep seeing Michael's feet moving on my tv screen with a "build in" that says something like, "the wait is over"?

I mean why do I keep seeing him doing some sort one-time tv show that premieres the video and the new single?

For real. Michael's pretty amazing.

The girl is pretty good. I understand what you mean though arXter, with Michael's background as a child star, he knows what childstardom does to a person better then anyone. Maybe he wants to meet with this girl to warn her and her family against it and also help guide her.
 
Just watch......Michael is gonna release that album when he has all the worlds attention on him. Notice all the people who have already released or will be releasing albums ....Celine, Janet, Mariah, Madonna, Alicia, Mary J. That just leaves Whitney and Michael for the later part of the year and I see an October emergence of Michael back on the music scene.

That little girl speaks so eloquently for her age, perhaps another 'old soul trapped in a little body?'
 
Yep and i'm glad it'll be between MJ and Whitney, cuz there's little to no competition between them. They're both legends in their own right.

I think I heard Beyonce is coming out with another one by the fourth quarter of this year, along with Eminem. Don't be surprised if Justin is back. His last one was from 2006

I mean serious contenders Jay. Madonna and Mariah are the heavy hitters. So is whitney. I can't say the same for Eminem or Justin who MJ outsold with his pinky finger...without promo, might i add (I'm talking about Invincible verses Justified). And doesn't MJ OWN eminem's stuff? LOL Beyonce is like Justin as far as sells go.

I think Usher is coming out with an album as well, and if that's the case, hell, thats more promo for MJ automatically :lol:

My, my, my, I am sitting here all hot and bothered after watching about 3 rounds of the Come Together video over at YouTube.

Anyway, I think that next years Grammies will be about comebacks, Michael and the ladies. Watch.

Weren't you also going on and on and on about how Michael and Thriller 25 were about to get a spectacular tribute at the last Grammies? And that didn't happen as we all know. Seriously is it so hard for you to avoid making such predictions without thinking of what might really happen?

its all good for Michael whoever release albums .. they all seem to use a Sony/ATV writer and as for Mariah .. he back catalog always sells with her new stuff coming out and Michael makes money off her back catalog...every song she made when she was with Sony... every song..and he always writes with a Sony/ATV writer..(I forgot his name). he also makes money off of a few Madonna old songs too..like LIKE A VIRGIN.. TAKE A BOW...her old songs are played alot when her new ablum comes out.... he also makes money off Beyonce... who always uses a Sony/AtV songwriter.(she did for B'day and Dangerously in Love) .and her songs with Destiny Child are all under Sony/ATV..and Usher too.. uses Sony/ATV songwriters.. so which ever way you slice it..
its $$$ in Michael's pocket whether the public knows it or not...

Kids and Michael Jackson (but in a good way)







My daughter LOVES Michael Jackson. She has been dancing around a lot lately so showed my kids the Thriller video a couple weeks ago. It was close to bed time and my daughter is only 4 years old. In hind sight it was not a wise choice. So in an effort to side step zombie nightmares I picked another Micheal Jackson video. This time I chose Smooth Criminal.
After that little Lily was convinced that Micheal Jackson was the greatest dancer ever. She wanted to see more, so I showed her Bad. This has become her all time favorite.

The next day she wanted to see Michael Jackson. I asked her which one. She said "The one where he's black". I took a step back, laughed on the inside and asked her, "What do you mean?" She replied, "The 'Who's a tough guy' one" Ahhh, the one where he's dressed in all black. I get it. After the she wanted more. Next on the YouTube side bar was "Remember the Time."



We have also added to the rotation "Beat it"


and Hunter's favorite "Black or White." He likes the MacCaulay Culkin character in the video.

Samantha (a girl we have adopted as part of our family and use to babysit the kids all the time but moved back east) was visiting this week and brought Lily a Doors t-shirt. Lily said she didn't like it. I tried to show her some Doors music, and she wasn't having any of it. She just wanted to see Michael Jackson.

So now her favorite bands include The Beatles, The Beastie Boys, Pink Floyd, The Reservoir Dogs soundtrack and of course Michael Jackson.
