A butterfly visited me in the middle of the night

I,m still very impressed by something that happend to me last night.
I really want to share this story with you to let you all know that michael really is with all of us.

The last few weeks i felt lonely.
Even more then short after mike,s passing.
It really felt like if i was left behind and he was really gone.

Till then i always felt his prescence around me and the fans.
But i had the weird idea he was not as close as before.
So yesterday i was talking to him in mind.
I said to him.
Mike, where are you?
I miss you, i miss your prescence in spirit.
Please come back, show me you,re here with us.
Give me a sign...

And then the following happend.
If i didn,t have seen it myself i realy would not believe this.

At 4 o clock i woke up, something was tickeling my leg.
I watched and saw the most prescious butterfly sitting on my leg.
( to let you all know, i live in holland and butterfly,s are very unusual at this time of the year, it,s cold, wet and almost winter)
it stayed there for minutes!
i stood up and still the buttefly stayd on my leg.
i took some fast pictures with my phone, i couldn,t believe it was happening.
The butterfly started flying around my head and landed on my shoulder.

It felt so peacefull!

I truly believe this is a sign, he,s stil among us in spirit!

(LOL, i,m very happy i just shaved my legs so i can show you these pics, HAHAHAHAHA)

I heard some people get signs that ask for them :) I had a yellow bird land on my counter at work back in July which was also very rare. I love stories like this!

Whoa, I've had butterfly experiences as well! One was when I was very sick with a high fever back in October and the exact same kind of butterfly (called here in Germany something like "little fox" or "brown fox") was in my bedroom at dawn! Sorry to leave you hanging, but I have to go take care of something at the moment. Be back in a while :)
 
I love butterflies and I'm sure that was a sign from MJ. I totally believe it was a sign. Something happened a few nights ago and I'm convinced it was a sign from MJ. It was about 5am and I was fast asleep and my mum was talking on the phone so I didn't hear anything. But I randomly suddenly woke up to hear my mum saying 'he's looking down on us.' It was odd as that was the only piece of the whole conversation I heard!

Ok, Jenny, LOVE your story :) and we probably don't live sooo far away from each other and I also have a butterfly story. I haven't shared this yet. Mine was about a month ago, in the middle to end of October. One night after midnight I suddenly got really sick with a fever of 101, terrible joint and muscle aches... really weird. I was fine one minute and so sick I could barely move the next. We almost called for an ambulance. I convinced my husband to just let me sleep for a while and I'd keep checking my body temp every couple of hours. I just didn't want to go to a hospital. We went to bed and I was lying there in terrible pain and wondering if I was going to die. For some reason I kept wanting Michael. I was thinking weird stuff like Michael, can you help me -- oh wait, why you, nevermind. Or, if I die Michael, could it be you who comes and gets me? Don't get me wrong... I certainly didn't want to die (!), but I was so weak I wasn't thinking straight.

THEN... right about at dawn I'm awakened by a sound at the window. It sounds like something BIG is battering its wings against the window shade. WTH??? I wake up my hubby and he goes to the window and finds a big butterfly (the same kind that came to you -- I had him look at the pics and confirm - they call them something like "little fox" ... yes, kleiner Fuchs butterflies here) stuck between the glass and the window shade. In October on a freezing cold night. Huh?! It must've somehow found its way in through the slightly-open window, but I hadn't seen butterflies around at all. My husband managed to catch it and let it back outside. It felt soooo weird to me. I kept thinking it was somehow from Michael, a message, a sign, something ... or something from someone over there. It had that surreal otherwordly feel about it. I fell back asleep but woke up just 45 minutes later completely soaked with sweat. The fever was gone. The pain was gone. I got up the next morning feeling fine.

P.S. What happened, I don't know. I don't know if it was all coincidence, or the butterfly was a sign, but not from MJ. Or MJ had something to do with it. Really don't know what to think.

mjbunny, a friend also got visited by the "same" type of butterfly.
She,s not from from germany or holland.

I don,t think it,s a weird coincedence that 3 fans i know about got visited by the same type of butterfly after asking michael to help or give a sign.

Wow, that's really something :eek: Thank you for sharing your stories! I always find it hard to believe these kinds of things (even though some of my family members have had unexplained experiences too), but you even managed to take a picture of the butterfly.. I'm amazed.

Last week I had 2 butterflies (tortoiseshell) at the attic. Who were they???
My grandparents???
In Western Europe this time of year it's not very rare to have butterflies sheltering in our houses you know.
As you might have noticed I'm quite sceptical. Why would Michael's spirit visit a few of his fans only instead of being with his family and kids.
I DO believe in Heaven though! I believe that's where Michael is.
No more sorrow, no more pain. He's happy now forever.
Therefore he's not able to watch our grief.
If you need to turn to someone turn to God.
And for those in relationships: except from here, share your feelings with your boyfriend/husband, 'cause that's why you're with him!

Am I the only one to see things like this?????

i think the spirit has no bounderies like we have here on earth.
So michael can "visit" millions at the same time.....
That is what i believe.

And as you might have noticed allready?

I don,t like it when you say i need to turn to god or to my husband.
Who are you to decide to who i should go with my grief?
My husband knows everything i do and knows i find comfort to share my feelings with other fans and he knows i feel comfort in the thought michael is still somewhere around me.
Point the finger to yourselve and not to others....


And do believe me when i say it,s rare for these temps in holland at the moment that there are butterfly,s around.
It,s aroudn the freezing point here!
I know where i live, and i know what,s normal or not around this time of the year......

Being sceptical is okay for me, you are....and i respect that.
But if you like to discuss if there are more people who think the same as you please start your own topic and don,t use mine for it.

There's nothing wrong with being sceptical. But you can't just come here and attack what others believe. Do you think it'd be ok for me to tell you that you shouldn't believe in God or heaven? I personally don't believe in either of those, I'm agnostic. But I'd never attack you for believing in them.

And why do you say we should only turn to god or our boyfriends/girlfriends/husbands with our thoughts and feelings? This is a discussion board, and that means we're here to discuss. Get the point? Why are YOU posting here on MJJC, why don't you just talk to your boyfriend instead?

I think it's good to look at things from many perspectives, but one must learn to get their point across without insulting others. That's the basis for a good and respectful conversation. So next time you have a differing opinion, how about you consider your words more carefully before posting? If you can't do that, don't post at all.

I had a butterfly experience myself a few weeks after Michael passed. I was feeling really down and missing Michael a lot and was desperate to sense his presence somehow. To know that he was okay. And one evening, I saw a butterfly flying right outside my window. I think it was a Red Admiral. Once it had my attention, it landed on the wall right outside and just sat there, for ages, even though it was being battered by the wind. It really comforted me at the time, because it felt like a message somehow.

I had somethign similar with a lovebug that stayed near me for days (it popped up everywhere and i think it was the same one)....
Very special.
