Hm, I looked at current jackets being sold and the highest price was 890. Must be some custom made thingie...lol. Didn't find any 10000 dollar jackets. Maybe that's with the dry cleaning bill added??? Or something went wrong with the deductible, and the rest of the sum is Michael's co pay for an out-of-network visit, you never know...

It was probably a $850 jacket, then MJ wore it so the value mutiplied tenfold. Anyway, who wore it better? LOL

Dr. Arnie Klein's got some fall shopping to catch up on in Beverly Hills -- because TMZ has learned, the Michael Jackson estate just REJECTED the good doc's claim to return his old, $10,000 jacket.

TMZ broke the story -- Klein says he loaned Michael Jackson a $10,000 Gianfranco Ferre jacket before the singer died, but MJ never returned it.

Klein filed a claim against Michael's estate back in February 2010 to get it back -- and yesterday, the estate finally got around to giving him an answer ... go fly a kite.

But the estate didn't just tell Arnie to buzz off -- according to the legal docs, the estate also rejected a former lawyer's $3 million bill, an old accountant's $60,000 bill ... plus an additional $354,230 in other claims.

That said, it's not the end of the road for Arnie or MJ's other creditors -- they can still sue the estate in court. But it's unclear if that's what Arnie and co. plan to do.

Klein filed the claim in February 2010, but The Michael Jackson Estate responded today.

Ah I remember the day I asked Michael to wear something green/peter pan= 'Michael please read and wear' thread and Michael wearing this jacket on that day I like to think was the outcome!!!!
Go the estate.
 
I remember the 'outrage' fans displayed because of this jacket and the the PJ's, he wore on that day.. lol.......... those were beautiful days :cry:

As much as I'm happy Arnie lost this case, I have to admit that looking at both pic, and at the size of that jacket, it'a obvious it wasn»'t made for Michael's body. Too bad Arnie lost his jacket... anyway he would just have sold it on eBay.
 
I wonder where the jacket is. Arnie could have used it when he goes to court with the former lover/employee/thief who is suing him. How about the other claims. Do people think the estate is made of money!!!
 
actually TMZ's headline is incorrect IMO.

It's just Estate has denied his claim. He can still sue for his jacket. So I wouldn't personally call it a loss or win.
 
Someone please look in the closet for Arnie's jacket and give it back to him. Anyone here can sew and make a jacket like that and give to Arnie?
 
what if arnie nerver actually lent a jacket to mj. what if it was a gift? now that mj is dead the guy wants his gift back so he could auction it? that's sick. he'll have to prove that he lent the jacket to mj.
 
The jackets look different. I can clearly see lettering on Michael's badge/insignia, but I don't see it on Kleins. :scratch:
 
People...Look closely at the jackets!! Klein in lieing...the jacket he has on has NO lettering on that badge/emblem, but MJ's jacket DOES...hello, apparently MJ bought his own jacket...I smell a rat!

Oh Oh, did arnie describe the jacket in his claim, unless fans just posted the wrong jacket. I see a C in Michael's badge, but you can see the jacket is way too big for him, so it may belong to someone else.

Yeah, it may belong to someone else, but that person ain't Klein...we have to remember too, that alot of the times, MJ wore jackets and pajama bottoms lol that were too big for him, but he didn't care lol. Not to mention, MJ had lost a lot of weight too, imo. It appears, the TRUE owner of the jacket, may have given it to MJ, and isn't worried about a rediculous pissing contest to get it back from a dead man...I'm just saying, but things that make you go hmmm...

EDIT: MJ's jacket emblem has the initials G.F.-The designers initials, pretty strange that Arnie's does not...btw, why hasn't he produced a receipt for this so-called $10,000 jacket.I mean it wouldn't be that hard, seeing as though, Bank of America wants ALL their money back that he owes them for his extravagant spending...I'm sure they could itemize his STATEMENTS.

Someone should find out how much that designer's clothes cost, especially jackets, so we can compare Arnie's figures. I guess he was able to spend 10,000 on a jacket before the lover stole that amount from him.

He was on twitter last night yapping about so many things. He wants his lawyer to get the jacket. He owe so much money...he can't afford to sue the estate to get a "$10,000" jacket back. lol


eta: apparently "his" lawyer he was referring to is Howard Weitzman. The estate's lawyer. They have a past relationship...doesn't seem to be the case now since the estate has been turning down many of his claims.

Weitzman could have been his lawyer in one case / lawsuit but lawyer - client relationship ends when the case is over - unless you keep the lawyer on retainer for future work.

I really do not see Klein paying money to Weitzman since 2003 to keep him as his lawyer. :) And weitzman representing him in a botox lawsuit isn't a conflict of interest as Michael and his estate wasn't a part of that lawsuit.

I'm seriously not understanding why the fashion-police didn't issue a ticket for visual pollution, regarding that jacket! :puke: I'm so sorry, but not even Michael could "work" that horrendous article of clothing. The color is that of a septic tank undergoing a toxic meltdown. The fit of the jacket looks like a -- horse-blanket. And SHAME on anyone who would spend THAT much on any article of clothing, when there remains WORLD HUNGER?

This is one of those INSANE tangents that crops up in the Michael-world from time-to-time. :doh:

EEEEK! Or, may I suggest "puce" as an alternative? There is NOTHING redeeming about that jacket, except that somewhere IN there, was. . . Michael? Somewhere?

The jacket makes the "Oxford suit" look like a cutting-edge fashion statement (and we all know what a disaster THAT was? He had "them" made in various colors, too. OUCH!)

Gosh you guys have eagle eyes. I had not noticed the difference in the lettering. You mean there could be more than one of those hideous jackets???

All joking aside, of course, I am sure we would all give anything to have MJ back again wearing that or any jacket.
