I agree.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I like the song. But....it isn't 100% Michael. It's hard to say how complete the recordings were they had to work with. However, to say it's 100% Michael is misleading.

REAL Breaking News from Sony: “’Breaking News’ is not Michael Jackson”

Sources inside Sony Music finally seem to have admitted, the ‘new’ ‘Michael Jackson’ single…. is not sung by Michael Jackson, at least up to 50% they claim. The revelations confirmed what thousands of fans were claiming all over the world yesterday as the track was released amid allegations from the Jackson family including Michael’s children, that some of the vocals used on a number of new Michael Jackson tracks to be included on the forthcoming release “Michael” in December, were not those of the late King of Pop.
An acapella of the track minus the over-produced backing audio surfaced on YouTube earlier today which confirms the vocals are not those of Michael Jackson. The “50% not MJ” admission from Sony Music seems to throw the entire project’s release into doubt.

About 90% of us here love Invincible, its very rare anyone says they dont like it.
I think anybody who has ever mentioned MJ lip synching here has allways mentioned that they understand why he needed to. Again, its quite rare anybody actually really complains about him lip synching.

I'll give you that one though in a way, it is annoying that fans think AEG/SONY were involved in a conspiracy and had Michael murdered.
Well, why would we want a 'NEW ALBUM' to consist of songs we have already.
Oh and I dont think anybody at all has said they dont want Another Day on the album.

I think a lot of the examples you gave of what fans say suggest we are the complete opposite of enemies. So that was a bit of a fail.....
We hate Sony because we love Michael so much, its not that hard to figure out.
Love is being shown in the form of hate, we are trying to protect Sony from ruining Michael's legacy with this fake song.

We had all known the album was coming for years......
I think people are perfectly justified in questioning why Michael didnt come to there country. I think we all also understood why he hadnt toured for years.
Considering you ended this post with 'With fans like these, who needs enemies'. I have no idea why you would end this post with that after you had just given many examples of how much fans care for Michael. This is one of the examples.
I think pretty much all of us got our tickets quite swiftly. I dont recall anyone complaining about not getting them. I think the majority of the people here who intended on going got tickets.
I recall most posts that could be seen as complaining allways ending with, 'Oh well at least I will get to be there
'People who bought tickets for the 8th July show, which was the first show were moved all the way up until January of this year. That means they went from seeing the first show, to seeing one of the last ones.

We didnt request our money back, Sony mentioned that everyone would get a refund and it would happen a few weeks after Michae died. I think everyone was to pre-occupied to be thinking about getting a refund.

Nobody here was boycotting This Is it. If anybody was boycotting it, it as a very very small ammount of people here.

I cant recall anyone complaining about ticket prices either. They were the same price as normal film tickets when you pre-book them.
Nobody has ever said Michael lip synched in the movie. I think everyone is pretty aware of the fact that certain vocals are dubbed over using the album versions of songs, or demo's.
Nobody boycotted the This is it album.I just think many people didnt buy it because it was basically another Greatest Hits.

This contradicts your previous sentence which stated people were moaning about HMH, Xscape and Another Day on the album. Which one is it?

I agree with SunsetDriver about the vocals in this acapella being the post-processed vocals however -- some lines have an unnatural/artificially enhanced sound to them, some lines and ad libs seem to be cut off *just* a fraction too early, resulting in a very flat sound, and in many parts it seems that all echo/resonance has been removed, resulting, again, in a very flat-sounding voice.
It was a really bad move to pick this song as the first release of the album, instead of a track where his voice would be instantly recognizable. It might even have been a bad decision to turn these recordings into an official release *at all*, considering the amount of production and processing it (apparently) needed to become "acceptable" for release.

The “Michael” album is not quite finalized, I’m told, but will have to be by Friday. Right now there are three “Cascio” tracks including “Breaking News.” Fans are complaining about “Breaking News” on the Jackson website because it doesn’t sound right to them. Folks, it really is Michael singing on that song. The finished version on the album may sound more like him. Part of the problem may have been in the uploading to the website.
“Breaking News” only streams through Sunday. On Monday, the first actual single is released–with Akon–called “Hold My Hand.”
I’ve heard a lot of the tracks, and I can tell you–they are by Michael. Michael’s nephew, Taryll Jackson, knows that, too. Despite his campaign to discredit the album, Taryll was around when the tracks were being put together. More will come out about this soon.
Conspiracy theories are fun, but buying into them is just going to cheat true Michael Jackson fans out of a great experience. “Michael” is shaping up to be a very solid project.

You can you please calm down! We are not the ones who tried to dupe the fans. We are not the one falsely promoting a project under the guise of financial gain. All we are, are fans looking for and paying for a product of Michael Jackson. Why should we expect less?
I know we all have our individual opinions, but can you tone down that attacking of fellow fans?

Lipsynching is complained about often here and it is not always met with underestanding. Let's not kid ourselves about that.
People did complaind about not getting tickets to the O2. I read the archived forums. And people who were complaining about high tickets were getting fussed at by fans who couldn't get tickets who were telling the others, "At least you are able to get tickets to go."
People did say it was a body double in TII. They were going off of family members like LaToya and Joe who said this. And also for some it did not fit their MJ was in bad health agenda so it had to be doubles.
People did say he lipsynched in the movie. Definitely. Even though there were people who were telling them it was dubbed for the movie which is a difference. It may be epople just did not understand.
The point is, MJ fans expect a lot. They complain a lot. But that does not mean it is not always justified. And I really think in this case, it absolutely is.

I DO have to say, after hearing the REAL acapella on youtube, several more parts sound like Michael, but plenty other parts not at all.

Wow, im really amazed on how much hate and intolerance have been taken to the extreme of questioning fans of their love and loyalty for MJ. This is mostly against people who believe it is MJ who sings in BN. I've been a lurker mostly and previously had a great time sharing with other fans of this community, but I think this is too much. I believe people are entitled to their opinion but when you question a fans love for MJ just because of differing opinions that's going too far.
Respect goes both ways.
