Thanks! I thought it probably was me being impatient as always. In any case, the delay proved advantageous, as I perfected my idea for a new username, and edited the post I requested the change in.

As for how often you can change usernames, well there's no rule as such, but so as not to confuse members too much I would say we should view usernames as a permanent feature per se, with changes allowed every now and then more than something we can change frequently.
