Dangerous 25 is NOT happening.

I'm absolutely speechless at some of those t-shirts...

HAHA speechless... so that's how it made you feel? ;)

I like the black hoodie/black t-shirt with the Dangerous mask... but that's it. Quite overpriced :\

Didn't Michael wear a t shirt similar to that with his photo from Human Nature on it?

It was just the photo that featured on the cover, not the actual single cover (with "Human Nature" text) so to speak:

The Dangerous logo ones are not bad... the others I could make easy!

So what is actually being released for Dangerous 25, the website says in the month they will celebrate Dangerous. but what? just links to merchandise, already released material etc.?

Any new stuff? (audio/footage/same CD different packaging) anything..?

Aren't they going to re-release things in terrible quality?

Like they did with Bucharest 1992

or Wembley 1988?

Those concerts can't be in any better quality. Maybe Wembley could if they had the master tape but they don't have it. Bucharest was also shot on tape so you can't expect much better quality.

Also someone mentioned that Wembley had bad editing. They couldn't have done anything about it. The concert was edited live for the jumbotrons so it was like that on the tape. There was no way to re-edit it.

^ well not to be annoying but not 'couldn't do anything'.. I mean even Bucharest re edited with different fan shots.. Though It really would not do too much in this case, still somethin'

Just... a bit... overedited.

Who are these people?! Has anyone ever heard of this?! https://www.popmarket.com/products/the-alan-parsons-project-tales-of-mystery-imagination-deluxe-boxset
What about these people on SuperDeluxeEdition.com?! Have any of you heard of those people?! Have you ever heard of those l.p.s before?! Do any of you think that they sold any significant numbers worldwide?! Why are unknowns getting such grand treatment and the world's best selling artist is not?!

That's the one. Very reminiscent of the ones people are griping about.

Edit the fans out. A big crowd shot or so to see how many people attended and a close up once in a blue moon to see people singing along. Just a few!!

The Alan Parsons Project is a great band, and both Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson are very influential figures.

I heard of Alan Parsons. He started out as an engineer for The Beatles and he had some hits in the USA during the 1970s and 1980s. Just because you only heard of Michael Jackson, doesn't mean that is true for other people. Stop being a crybaby. It doesn't matter that there's no Dangerous reissue. Buy the one that's already out there. Buy as many as you want, problem solved.

Oh, snap! Do you all SEE that?! Physical products being sold! Um, why don't they just do digital downloads of those clothes?! Um. I guess that's not helping my argument. BUT needless to say! They ARE apparently already selling physical product on some level though, eh!

ACTUALLY I have heard of Allan Parson's Project. I was just asking in general...but have you all ever heard of those studio l.p.s?! Your argument does not work DuranDuran! Michael Jackson and "Dangerous" have sales numbers to back up warranting a physical "Dangerous 25" to be released!

So what? There's no reissues of Vanilla Ice's To The Extreme album and it sold over 10 million in the USA. Milli Vanilli also sold a lot, they're not doing a reissue for them. Many albums sold a lot and they have no anniversary versions. The Beatles have no anniversary albums and overall they sold more than anyone else. The Beatles had remasters a few years ago for both the British and USA versions of their albums, but they were not anniversary reissues. They were just the albums as the originally were, no extra stuff. There's no Garth Brooks or Eagles anniversary albums either. The Eagles are the biggest selling American band. You care about a Dangerous 25, I don't. I'm cool with the one I already have, and I have most of the maxi singles, so I have the remixes.

Guess what?! It isn't about you or me is it?! Duh! I am fully aware of those l.p.s not getting anniversary releases! I'll also bet dollars to donuts that at some point they might have some sort of Super Deluxe Editions made for them though! Instead of giving an illusion of me being absurd and out of touch can you explain why so many other recording artists get anniversary releases INCLUDING MICHAEL JACKSON but a physical "Dangerous 25" is not warranted?!

Jacksons

Personally, what I want is Triumph Tour 35.
I'm interested in stuff by The Jacksons & J5. The Jacksons/J5 have never had a official home video release except the cartoon series that came out on DVD/Blu Ray in 2013. Even LaToya has some. There's still over 200 unreleased Motown songs, including a Tito solo album and a unreleased Jermaine album called Do Unto Others from around 1976 that was produced by Norman Harris. I think Berry Gordy cancelled it because the other brothers went over to CBS and was working with Gamble & Huff. Norman Harris was working at Philadelphia International (Gamble & Huff's label) as a session musician and staff producer, so I guess that was considered a conflict since Motown were suing the group. I'd be more interested in a DVD of The Jacksons variety show than Dangerous 25. I guess the TV network owns that, and there's also getting permission from the guest stars or whoever owns their image if deceased. One is David Letterman, who was little known at the time, so I wonder if he would sign off. With music shows there's publishing issues as well, and if they restore the picture, that's expensive and time consuming. So they would have to be sure there's a enough of a market to make a profit.

It is about you since you keep talking about it. :hysterical:

Whoa, wow! Those look great! And what would expect them to do otherwise! I think I am going to get some of these!!! I wonder if they are going to sell any of these on Popmarket.com?!

God you are easily the most annoying person on here.

No one is that rude intentionally. Oh, well, hey! That's not true! Trolls are people too! Besides I am passionately discussing what fans around the world should be doing! It's not like I am off subject! Some people just don't want to hear the truth and want to shut up those who hope and dream!

I do agree it would've been nice to have the 1987 mixes, I prefer the original mixes for Bad and Smooth Criminal at least.

And yet we got 6 entirely new songs and a new version of IJCSLY. I like the Afrojack and Nero remixes as well, but I dislike the Pitbull one.

I wish they just released it over 2 CDs. They had to keep cutting down on the instrumental parts that are perfect to dance to!!

I mean, there's only so much you can do to a 20+ year old VHS tape.

I mostly agree here. The six songs are the highlight of the package for me. I'm So Blue is absolutely WONDERFUL.

Cutting the extended high note at the end of Rock With You is absolutely criminal. Same with the ad-libbing at the end of I'll Be There. (And, while not essential, I can't get enough off the Bad finale when he's thanking the band. Too much funk to handle!) I grasp that certain things needed to be cut to fit everything on one disc, but the solution should have been to make other cuts or put it out as a two-disc set.

The video remaster still felt... very odd, even though they couldn't do much to it. There are fan corrections done on YouTube that look far superior, but maybe that's just a personal taste thing. I also personally wasn't a fan of the audio mix at times - not very live sounding.

Bad25 remains the best project of the bunch nonetheless. Nowhere close to perfect, but a great set.

Michael Jackson and "Dangerous" have sales numbers to back up warranting a physical "Dangerous 25" to be released!

Not really.

Just keep in mind that projects should be made with commercial viability in mind, i.e. what will sell the most and bring Sony/the estate the most money? That's why they're so focused on Thriller - it's almost guaranteed to get attention.

Dangerous doesn't have that appeal to it. Sad, but it's true. It will do worse than Bad25 did, and they obviously won't take the chance.

And I want a Dangerous25 more than anyone. But you really need to stop parading around (and insulting anyone in your path) and insisting that Dangerous25 is warranted for reasons that you make up.

Where did those items go already?! The jacket and the shirt with cover artwork on them?! Surely they did not sell out of those already! All people need are digital versions! Think of it as socialism in action! Where everyone does without but share the scrapes of crumbs of what's left...or that you can find...if you can!
