ive been a michael fan since i was ten . im 26 now. ive ever been one to be all negative and i dont want to be slammed down for this.. but i never believed MJ had a skin disease. id like to be proved wrong but i dont judge MJ about whatever happened to his skin. its not really my business. but whenevr i see these pictures, i think the same effect could have happened if you were using bleaching creams.. like patches sometimes dont go as white as others
if MJ had vitilgo.. why the gradual change? i mean hes "white " when he did BAD but hes so much whiter , say , HIStory era... why? if you have vitiligo all piment goes. I also look at pics from Thriller era at awards shows etc,, where you can see MJ has tried to put white on his face to appear "whiter" as the flash of the camera shows this up. there apears to be a even black tone under this white
( That's not true, it rarely all goes. You'll still have blotches. And I think, but that's just my personnal opinion, that if there is a way to go from black to porcelain white by bleaching your skin, and Michael would want to do that, Michael would hire some real professionals that don't create blotches. But, as far as I know, there is not one treatment that strips away ALL pigmentation in your body. Prove me wrong if there is. Michael always had blotches, people say he was totally white, but that's not true, I'll show you some pictures (from about 2005 I think) where you can see spots on his arms but that are rare pictures since Michael is mostly covered up. It is very plausible that Michael had even more spots on his chest, back and legs but we can't know that and there's no prove of that so I'm not going to argue over that.)
If you don't want to believe it, that's totally up to you. But I do think it's a bit sad. Anyway, I'll try to give you some evidence and I hope you take the time to read it. You can make your own conclusions.
I've got an uncle and an aunt who got Vitiligo and I know what it looks like. However, they mainly got it on their hands and arms and they're white so it isn't as noticeable.
I really do believe Michael has vitiligo.
* Michaels doctor confirmed it
*Michael said it himself
*And there are pictures, even videos where you can still see non-covered blotches.
Vitiligo often start at the hands and with some people, it can be pretty limited but some others gradually get it all over their body, Michael's definately not the only one.
This little girl has got vitiligo And as you can see, it got worse over the years.
In Michael's case I guesse it went the same, it started with some spots (some say that's why he started to wear the glove, to cover up spots) which were very easy to cover up with some dark make up. and that's what they did but it became clear that in his case, the vitiligo was spreading rapidly, that's why they decided to start covering up the dark spots with lighter make up (just like the little girl above).
Michael gradually became lighter and that's why, I believe, lots of people believe he somehow (I don't know if there is a way to get So white but whatever...) gradually bleached his skin. But just think about it, Wouldn't it be weird if they decided well, not let's stop covering up the light spots with dark makeup and just cover up the dark stopt with porcelain white make up.... That would be ridiculous! He would have gone from black to porcelain white over night. So they covered everything that was visible with make up. (Michael almost always wore long sleeves, long trousers, long hair a hat and gloves and pulled his socks up high) And gradually used a lighter make up.
If you have vitiligo, you'll never have an evened out skin tone. There will always be blotches, and I do believe Michael bleached the dark spots that didn't go away so he doesn't need a thick layer of make up to cover it all up. This is actually a 'treatment' prescibed by doctors if the vitiligo gets so bad. They can't stop it, they can't restore the pigment, they can only try to make the patient look 'okay' to the rest of the world. They make the remaining darker areas lighter to match the affected skin
That's why they might have found 'bleaching creams' and that's why, after a while, Michael's spots don't look like this (this is not Michael by the way):
But like this:
There are a lot of videos on youtube of pictures where you can see the vitiligo and some are real but others are just pictures with bad lighting.
Videos on the other hand can't be faked however and since he's running around in this video, it can't be the lighting either. Watch his right arm, if this isn't going to convince you, nothing will.

Some other pictures where you can see the vitiligo:
In 2002 Michael had a spider bite and he gave his permission to the doctor to release these pictures don't pay attention to the spider bite):
some others:
Look at the arms
on his forehead:
On his wrist and in his neck:
One where the vitiligo hadn't spread that far yet, He's still mainly black but you can see lighter spots on his cheek which was poorly covered up with make up (which is a bit too light)
Look at his arms/wrists, why do you think he's hiding his hands?
Some other badly covered up blotches in his neck and on his ear and nose during the bad era. Offcourse, you can't see the black-white spots because, as I said, they gradually started covering everything that's visible with a lot of make up. The make-up is lighter then the black blotches but still a lot darker then the white blotches. You can vaguely see that his skin underneath the thick layer of make up obviously isn't even :
Same day, other angle, same spots on the same place so it can't be the lighting:
As for LaToya, I don't think she's got vitiligo, did she ever say so? As others mentionned before, LaToya has always been lighter then her other brothers and sisters.
