I think Sony should have "done a Thriller" with this album, instead of saving some other amazing music for other albums. Why not get rid of Breaking News, Monster, The Way You Love Me, and replace them with instant hits such as Slave To The Rhythm and Blue Gangsta. 12 O'Clock (DYKWYCA) doesn't sound good to me but I'm sure there are better songs Sony could have used so that this album wouldn't have "filler" tracks. An album like Thriller, where every song is a hit.

There is, they just didn't use it. Blue Gangster, DYKWYCA, Slave to the Rhythm....

Sony bombed on this album. It could've been SO much better without those Cascio tracks.

They really should have gone all out with the first posthumous release, though. Forget Breaking News, Monster and Keep Your Head up and replace them with Slave To The Rhythm, DYKWYCA and Blue Gangster. I don't think the reception for this album is going to very positive.

Listening to these snippets makes me laugh at the reviews tabloids gave the album. Especially The Sun.

Really? I thought so at first too, but now i find KYHU too 'cute' sounding, the voice...somehow someway it sounds un-MJ to me now.

That's the sad part. I remember awhile ago on this forum people posted youtube links of songs, but they all turned out to be fakes, but i can see lots of people falling for that. That's the crappy thing about this all..what a fiasco :( The only real reason i am not getting the album.

I gotta be honest, for a very short while i thought 'Hmm..when you listen to all these snippets in order, you can easily believe it's all MJ' but as soon as i play those songs for myself...i don't think that at all.

I agree with you to a point, but the same thing will happen with the next album... fans will be complaining that we're getting an album of songs we've already heard.

All that aside, I'm really looking forward to the legit tracks. I'm really loving Best of Joy. It will probably be my new favorite song.

at the end of the day if the album doesnt do well its mikes name that will be crapped on again. not sonys not the cascios.

The general public wouldnt know if the songs were fake and Sony to be honest know that. They'd still buy it Its the hard core fans that are questioning the vocals and Sony have always had this notion that fans will buy anything with Michael's name on it. I'm still buying the album as I want to hear new music from Michael. Hopefully next time we don't have this fiasco again.

Sadly I think u right about that becuz I Always been saying like it or not I don't it's ALOT of Completed songs floating around. Plus I don't think it was that many complete demos/songs during Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad days...

:( True. They can do whatever they want with us it seems and we will always support every MJ product blindly just to get sales high and get Michael to the top.

BUT, I can tolerate quality issues, I can even tolerate collections and remixes, I WILL NOT tolerate FRAUD!!!

I think they are saving Off The Wall and Bad outtakes for re-releases of Off The Wall and Bad, like how For All Time was used on Thriller 25.

This sounds brilliant I cant wait to get the album I personally can hear and feel MJ in all of the snippets, the only song Im not sure if I like is Best of Joy but that might change when I hear it all. By the way my fave MJ albums are Invincible BOTDF History and Dangerous different sounds and vocals on all of those which shows his vocal versatility IMO

BN sounds the same...why? Thought they reworked it? lol Monster beat changed, it's better! But, the vocals however are the same has BN! KYHU is very confusing it sounds like him in some parts! The rest of the album is good! Looking forward to Behind the mask and Hollywood tonight the most if I buy it?!

If only....But, The estate bought 12 tracks from the Casio's and we are only getting 3 now! That leaves 9 left! O_O So no doubt other Casio tracks will be in future releases!? Let's just hope the vocals won't be as questionable?

I'm just piss they left Breaking News on the album becuz mainly the song suck (fake or real)... BUT beside that I'm STILL going to buy the album the "other" 2 songs from the brothers sound alright 2 me from the LITTLE snippet I heard...

To be honest, I don't see a difference in the way Michael sings Hollywood Tonight compared to the rest. It's beautiful, like most Michael songs. What's different?
