Horray! I got mine this morning, I love it. I just got one version today, I'll track down the other versions instores and online next week.

It's pretty cool, and I'm happy I bought it.

The whole album is worth getting just for the proper complete, new vocals version and everything of "For All Time". OMG that song is perfection.

I know I kept saying that I wasn't going to get it. But ever since I had heard that preview of Got The Hots. I just have to get it for that one song. But I am just going to get the Japanese version one. Not the one in my country.

I bought the standard, jewel case version too, just out of curiosity to compare it to the digipak version, and the booklet doesn't have anywhere near as many photos as the digipak version. In the standard version, you miss out on all the Thriller video photos, which are what make the booklet fantastic, and the other photos are smaller, though you still get lyrics and gold discs. So, the digipak version is definitely better if it's the beautiful booklet you want.

I will get my 3 editions next wednesday, as february 13 is the release date in Finland :) So 4 nights to wait...
 
Thriller 25 forgets aus...

I have not seen ONE commercial for Thriller 25 in Australia. There has been NOT ONE story about it that I have seen. I have heard ONE song from Thriller 25 on the radio, and that was at 11:00p.m. Are there any Thriller 25 commercials in english? What is wrong with Australia? the album is going by unnoticed!!! Is there something fundamentally wrong with Sony Australia, or does everyone just forget us because we're down so low?

Hmm that really really...sucks. Here in New Zealand the album is getting quite a bit of promotion. They recently showed a Thriller 25 commercial, with Will.I.Am working with Mike in the studio. They also had about three hours of Michael videos. Ohh...and they also showed the Bucharest concert last night. Also, the remixes seem to be getting quite a bit of airplay on the radio. A couple of the stations have been having draws, where you can not only win the album, but his entire back catalog. So, i think so far Thriller is doing quite well in terms of promotion here in NZ. Thats a shame for you Aussie fans, i can't understand how we're getting lots more promotion then you guys are.

they aired BUCHAREST!?!? Oh my God, that would be like a dream come true for me! I consider myself lucky if I even HEAR the name Michael Jackson spoken on television in Australia... I am so angry with Australia!!!!!! I feel like I'm being left out of the loop by my stupid country.

Yeah, they aired Bucharest!!! I couldn't believe it when i saw it advertised in the paper. It was like the clock had been turned back fifteen years! And there was ALOT of commercials for the concert shown during the day i just about fell out of my chair everytime i saw it!

WHAT!!!!!!!! THEY HAD AN ADVERTISEMENT DURING DANCE? That is bloody incredible. That must be the first T25 ad in australia ;). I'm still disappointed with Sony Australia's pathetic promotion effort though. They ought to be ashamed with themselves, because they have the greatest product, and yet they are pitiful in the ad department. I'm sick of seeing ads for Biggest Loser, and Underbelly, and Monster House, and other derivative crap like that, and then the crap ads for people I don't even know like Maroon-friggin'-5, and various other nobody artists. Get your act together Sony!!! PROMOTE THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!!

anyway, what happened in that ad? is it, or any T25 ad, on youtube so that I can see it?

lool yea i really enjoied watching the michaelmania in NZ from the ads to the concert it was great plus it was on a saturday..the greatest hits of michael was great to watch too lool my friends were txting me to watch it

Wow! I must have caught all of it then, :lol:

On Friday, every morning show played Michael Jackson songs as they were going to and coming back from commercial breaks. The Morning show had a promo spot on Friday and had Jason Jackson dancing. Today (Sunday) Sunrise had a spot about Thriller 25 and played hits all morning.

A friend of mine saw a commercial on So You Think You Can Dance for Thriller 25.

Also, promotion must be working, because after one day of sales, Thriller re-entered the charts at number 44. :D

man i dunno what ur on about but the remixes are all over radio, TV ads are on, there are artcles in newspapers and in the Rolling Stone issue there is an ENORMOUS ad! Here, see below!

My cousins heard WBSS 2008 on the radio and they used it in So You Think You can Dance Aus. aswell :) Yet to see any tv commercials though.

WBSS is on the radio EVERY single day, and more than once. on 104.1, the station my sister always puts on even when we're not evening listening to it...lol

mine got delivered yesterday
was a bit confused as i wasnt expecting it untill tomorrow
listened to it none stop since its great
i especially loved For all time.

Does anyone know how much the digipak (48 pg booklet version) wil cost in the UK?

got it yesterday.the zombie version cardboard tray & art work in the standard cd booklet. why have the shops here not got the digipack booklet version? if anyone in cork find it in a shop let me know.cheers.

is this correct for the types of versions there are?:

1: standard cover
2: zombie holographic slip case with standard cover insdie
3: Hardback zombie holographic cover with 48pg booklet.

So confusing!!

this one has 24-page booklet inside, the Limited version with 48page booklet will be released a few days later.
