And I think the media truly does care about his car insurance since they care sooo much about his finances. I can see Pat O' Brien now, "EXCLUSIVE! MICHAEL AND HIS CAR INSURANCE. GEICO IS THE ANSWER FOR CELEBRITIES! We'll have more after the break!" :lol:

Jackson Five pair sue Daily Star over 'flat broke' allegations

Two former members of the Jackson Five are planning to sue the Daily Star, just over a week after it printed an unprecedented front page apology to the family of missing girl Madeline McCann.
Jermaine and Tito Jackson have instructed their lawyers to “take all necessary action” against the Express Newspapers title for “untrue and defamatory” allegations published in yesterday’s paper.


The paper led with a front page story yesterday headlined “Jackson five hit the skids” that claimed that all five members of the hit 1970s group were facing financial difficulties. The piece was labelled as “Another Daily Star showbiz exclusive”.
Legal firm Swan Turton said the pair were particularly annoyed by the suggestion that Tito is playing gigs for £250 a night and that Jermaine is still living off his earnings from an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother last year. Lawyer Jonathan Coad said the Jacksons “strenuously deny” the allegations.

Its about time someone stood up
The Tabloids are getting out of hand
Even they need to be held accountable
for what they print

That article was an all out attack on the Jackson family
it was discusting .. :mad: It made me cringe when I read it.

Its hard to tell what is the truth any more hell this story above could be a bunch
of tabloid crap and not even be close to the truth -

We have no one to tust anymore to give us the truth.
It very scary - that any media or news report can psot
anything they want truth or not and not be held accountable.

It is much easier to sue in a british court, than in america. The lawyers here take their job and their reputation very seriously. I hope they cary through with it. I think the rest of the Jacksons should sue through the british courts too.:)

I've been waiting for this day to arrive! Finally the Jacksons are doing something about this. Maybe this is a start to shut the press up, also, this could have a positive effect on Michael's behalf. :)

The Jacksons are usually too nice for their own good, I feel they try to let this things slide and not acknowledge them but it's time to take action and show them who they're dealing with. :p

Since when did MJ became a former pop star? And Jaydom, if you think that is "true" why are you even a fan? Why do you give a damn about MJ? You need to go back to the KOP board and stay there.

These clowns can call MJ whatever they want to call him. He is still making the news and it would have been bad if he was not being talked in the first place.

I am asking everyone to please do not do any crazy pranks like open a thread called. "OMG... MJ ALBUM TO BE RELEASED SOON" or something like that.. Because it's just too touchy right now..

Bee, it wasn't meant to be offensive in my case. The truth is Michael hasn't sang or performed in ages, so in all honesty right now he is a "former pop star"
