Ridiculous. But the point is that when he was giving Michael all these things, prescribing drugs to him his license was NOT ok,./valid etc.

This is just another issue that needs to be discussed, when it comes to medical licenses in America.

I don't know how it works in other countries, but the doctors who were arrested in the Anne Nicole Smith case, STILL have their license's and are able to practice medicine.

It is a shame. When a police officer shoots someone they put them on leave until the investigation is over. It should be that way for doctors also.

I know it's just ridiculous but I think it has to do with the fact that it's almost not possible to prosecute doctors in America, people in general do not believe doctors can do anything wrong. I hate this special treatment doctors in the US are receiving from the authorities.

Yep! Same goes for teachers. If they are alleged to have done something wrong, they are put on administrative leave. In what the Board of Education calls the "rubber room." They are not allowed back into a classroom until the outcome is favorable.

Dr. Conrad Murray is a "danger to the public" -- according to the medical board that licensed him to practice medicine in California.



The Medical Board of California was shut down today by the judge in Murray's involuntary manslaughter case. The Board wanted the judge to immediately stop Dr. Murray in his tracks from practicing medicine as a condition to bail.

According to documents filed with the court, the Board believes Murray showed, "utter disregard for the care and well-being of the persons entrusted to his care" -- namely, Michael Jackson.

The Board wants the judge to step in stat because it takes the Medical Board a long time to yank a doctor's license.

In the end, the judge would only go as far as ordering Dr. Murray not to administer anesthetics, including Propofol.

TAKE AWAY THAT LICENSE!

He'll still get money "from someone" anyways. It doesn't matter.

Yeah, but it'll make me feel better. it makes it more obvious someone if providing for him simce he cannot hide behind his practice as a means of income.

I knew it!!! I was hoping that after I heard the judge say that Conrad Murderer can continue his practice that, that he'll change his mind or something. His license should be revoked NOW!!!

I would have revoked his liscence on June 25! Damn it!

I really wish they had succeeded with this. I can't believe how he's just completely gotten away with what he did. I just can't believe it.

If he was so careless with Michael and had so little regard for his safety, what would stop him from killing somone else? He is a threat to anyone who goes to him for help. I can't believe they didn't take away his license to practice.

No judge can take a doctor license. The medical board does that and it shows TMZ does not know what the heck they are talking about. If they medical board wanted to, they could suspend his license even before his trial starts.

So, that is a load of BS.

Take away that license!

Unless you don't want to give patients the feeling they can happen to go to a doctor with a cold and will end up having an amputation of their head without that the doctor is guilty of any wrong doing. And they'll take only the battle axe away from him?

Let's get this straight! The BS is that Murray is running around with NO CONSEQUENCES yet!
Yeah TMZ might didn't get information straight.

In the end it doesn't matter who does not respond... fact is nobody seems to respond to this propper and that's what I call BS!!!

I think its just totally stupid and wrong that the General Law and Medical Law- are somewhat 2 separate things - I think its about time that if the Med Board just ignores this, like I'm sure they do with other cases, that a judicary judge (do I have that right) can be able to take it away.

Well, Anna Nicole Smith's doctor still have their license and they are currently on trial. Elvis' doctor went to trial too and he still had his license and it was not suspended until years later on unrelated charges. So, this is far from new or even unexpected.

If you want his license taking away, that is the medical board's job, no a judge. However, the medical board does not usually suspend a doctor's license until after the trial. Then, they decided if action should be taking by them.

how he can still practice medicine after being charged for killing someone amazes me. i hope the medical board fights hard to revoke his license.

Murray's medical license can not be taken away from him. He has been accused of a crime, he hasn't been convicted. If he is convicted in this case in the state of California, then his license could be suspended. I don't think Murray was ever convicted of a crime in both Nevada or Texas, so legally, those state can not take his license away from him with out due process.

Think about what you say and how you say it. People could have said why wasn't Michael's kids taken away from him when he was ACCUSED of child molestation? People thought that Michael was guilty so for that reason his kids should be taken away.

Did you read the search warrants what Murray said himself?
Did you just take a glimpse into the coroners report?

I'll say it again. Doctors leading the medical boards there must think about what they want to be known for.

Just think your three year old daughter will have an accident tomorrow and go to a clinic and you'll see Murray at her operation table?

Let me add... Murray didn't mess up only with giving propofol!
He messed up with having the correct equipment around!

He messed up with cpr!

He messed up with getting proper help in time for Michael!



A 'doctor' like that... (fill in the gap however you like).
makes me certainly wonder what the medical board over there is waiting/standing for.
Oh and I base that only on what Murray said himself btw.

it's good that the med board is taking action.in this way no matter if he is found guilty or he makes a deal or whatever they can still suspend his license!

so a teacher whos accused/charged with child abuse still works with kids. after all they havnt been found guilty. nothing to do with whether hes been convicted or not.the board wants his licence revoked and has started the motions to do it. its being suspened not taken away all together. onces hes convicted he should be struck off

I agree with you Elusive, and after that Katherine needs to sue him and make sure that bastard does NOT make any money from books/interviews/series/TV appearances etc at all. Take away the money and let the man rot. Let him rot in hell and on earth.
