Katherine has made herself ridiculous with her assertions against Branca unf for the Fake endowment even in the Öffentlilchkeit,

Why still step if she already lies on the ground?

Same applies to this mad Johnson.

Branca wanted Michael's rights!;
He did not want to damage people!


And thus a Charity is no cash where everybody is able reingreifen!
There quite strict control will take place, there I am quite sure.
And the control do NOT have QUITE CERTAINLY Katherine and / or Johnson.

The public scandal could never permit itself Branca.
He would never gamble away his call.

Of course: It would be a better style if at least Katherine worked in an honourary capacity in the endowment.....
But this will not probably want to or be able to do them or be allowed....

....I trust no one in this business (not even the Estate, whether Michael appointed them or not is rather irrelevant), in Jackson's world anything is possible, any massive ish, only the few anonymous ones, I guess, could be trusted, and his children. ...I guess in his world, one can only pick between the bad and worse, and the likes of arrogant Mann is one of the worst. ... When Jermaine's tweets and Mrs. Jackson's statements explain how they feel comfortable putting Michael's children in direct contact with someone that is documented as almost stalking Michael and his staff, then they would have some credibility. Their sudden concern for HTWF is amazing. Did they ever discuss or mention this when Michael was alive?

they feel they have now access to 20% of his estate through this charity plus all the donations from fans, how stupid of them !!!! the DA's office will watch very closely , I'm sure Branca and co won't risk their careers and reputation so Randy and his siblings can steal from the charity. I believe Branca did it again , he made them feel they are going to get what they want when infact they won't , remember the meeting to read the will ? "you're going to get 40% of the estate " did they get anything near 40%? no

I trust Branca.

Yes this is a step in the right direction for sure. I am not a legal person; however, I do understand that settlements are just that; an agreement outside of court. Regardless, it's good that the Estate did retain the trademarks and is in charge of HTWF.

I'm not sure what to feel about all the other stuff just yet. As recommended, I will wait for more details.

Some of you say it's better that the Estate handles deals rather than the family. True, not a big fan of the family, their integrity etc.
But really, it's not black or white. Knowing the history in detail, there can never be an honorable party around MJ or his assets. Siding with the lesser evil??
Did the Estate do a great job so far? Not if you believe that they put fake songs on a MJ album, that the Will is false and that now they are reaching a backdoor agreement with the family to funnel some of the 20% to them.

And btw, a proportion of the MJ fanbase believes that, most of them are not on forums like this one.

I knew Mann would have something to say. And I had a feeling he would claim the settlement as a victory. Truth is, both sides got something that they ultimately wanted. So nobody really won. I also think the estate paid him a hefty amount of money to get him to go away because they were probably just tired of dealing with him. So I'm not surprised Mann is claiming victory as if they had no choice but to settle. This is all just my opinion.

I agree Soundmind, in no way the Estate will allow some inept people to run wild over a charity that is connected to Michael. Maybe certain Jacksons may think they will, or Jermaine is making his comments to save face, but I am going to wait and see how the Estate plays this out.

They think it real!


Yes!: There is being able to do an honourable party for MJ.
Michael had occupied no honourable people at some times (Wiesner, Konitzer, Schaffel....) and they had big influence on Michael and they have him today still on his family!
(Branca was one of their victims! He will not have forgotten this.)

They still are at work and thus the family has also her queues and vultures have.


However, can Michael's family sink so deeply that it steals donated money for charity to satisfy her own hunger after luxury?

Then the barrel would be full!

In my opinion, homegirl either needs to "remain silent" at this point OR admit that the Estate got exactly what they wanted.

Any other response at this time, just makes her look silly, in my opinion. She's fighting a losing battle everytime she opens her mouth!

I agree. That woman is a nobody and a self-serving fool to boot - how she has gained this level of quasi-importance within certain sections of the fan community, I will never know. We have more pertinent things to worry about than the rantings of this unstable fan who willfully IMO misinterprets, misleads and slanders at every available opportunity.

It seems she's either clueless or in denial. I'll do better than the lawsuit (because if she couldn't understand it in 19 months I don't think she'll understand it now).

I'll give you first a letter from Heal the World Foundation lawyers to John Branca dated August 9, 2009 mentioning their INTENT TO USE TRADEMARKS. Secondly I'll give you the HTWF- Mann agreement dated November 1, 2010 in which HTWF agrees with Vintage pop media TO LICENSE THE TRADEMARKS FOR COMMERCIALIZATION OF MICHAEL JACKSON through sale of certain products.

I'll add the lawsuit cover as well for reference that plainly shows that the majority of the claims were related to the trademarks and the rest was about the sale of the items using the trademarks.

After that if someone tells you trademarks wasn't the issue, You can do a Mr.T impersonation and say "I pity the fool".

Please find below a statement from the Co-Executors of the Estate.

Please let the fans know that we are aware of the many questions from the fan community regarding the recent settlement of the HTWF lawsuit. The Estate will need at least ninety days to gather information, as well as all of the property that will be coming back to the Estate from Melissa Johnson and the HTWF. We want the fans to rest assured that all decisions on the use of a charitable foundation or, as an alternative, making direct contributions to recipient charities, and any and all personnel decisions, will be made with complete regard to Michael’s wishes and Michael’s legacy, which we intend to honor and perpetuate. We also value the opinions of Michael’s fans who, above all, have shown unwavering support for Michael and his legacy. We therefore want to assure the fans that all actions being taken by the Estate, past, present and future, will be guided by the paramount objective of doing the right thing by Michael.

There's no telling if Mann can squirrel money outta her in addition to the fam.
What Katherine does with her money is none of our business, but her recent debacle with Mann and the firing of Adam Streisand has exposed her incompetence to hold office in any capacity of any kind in HTWF. If she wants in, her role should be as limited as receiving her check. Period! Not even an honorary role in office. She should'nt have any vetoing power nor voting power in HTWF.

..."Yeah, receive your dough and sit down somewhere. "
A clean sweep win is one WITHOUT Melissa Johnson and Katherine. Enough said.

I have never doubted Mr. Branca and have a high opinion of him because in all he what he does, he works for Michael!

Also this comparison with Johnson is basically a great success for Michael and his children.

And, nevertheless, it is off sick me, that Michael's mother, Melissa Johnson and probably also Randy, Tito, Jermaine....
in this endowment high positions will have.

Already in 2006 Jermaine Jackson appeared as a representative of the organisation of MuslimAid as a special emissary for children in Bangladesh.
It had been once in 2000/2001 a MICHAEL'S dream to become a special emissary for children in UNESCO!..... In 2006 when it lay for Michael beyond every reach, Jermaine had verified it for ITSELF.

Randy.... How many intrigues he has begun against the Estate and against the person Branca!
Against the genuineness of the testament... Against the album "Michael",...!
It is full hatred for the Estate. And he has a big influence also his mother.

One can summarise Katherine... after all what we have to read just during the last 3 weeks of her: She overestimates herself extremely. She will sit there and hold Johnsons hand and say what Johnson and Randy whisper to her.

And EVERYBODY of them will detain the hand and is paid by the money what should be spent on the charity!

Irony: Maybe they can still leave bequeath her seats with HTWF!


Me really dreads. And Mr. Branca will hopefully create safety mechanism that this troop no influence agrees----neither on HTWF nor on the Estate!

It took 4 days but it seems like Larry Nimmer understands that it wasn't a favorable settlement for HTWF and that it was about trademarks. Perhaps there's still hope that everyone will see this fact.

It makes me laugh, now what Tajj Malik!? lol Glad that Nimmer knows better now! I'm sure the comments people left him made him understand that we ain't no fools!
