Murray Trial - 7 October - Day 9 - Discussion

got there on the 24th. went to his room and waited for him. mj arrives he says im tired then showers.puts cream on mj for vitiligo/sun exposure. just mj and murray there that night. he then wants to go to sleep. cant sleep naturally murray gives him an IV for hydration talked for abit and murray gives him medication to sleep. gives him valium 1 pill 10 mg waited for valium to take effect. murray then gives IV loraz gives him 2mg after diluted it with saline iV pushed slowly into the port over 2-3 minutes.. then uncap the line. watched mj and he still stayed a awake for more than an hour. i wanna be cautious. (this sounds so scripted)
 
Murray actually sounds rather calm/relaxed when giving his interview.

I have a really hard time believing that 2mg of IV Lorazepam and the IV Midazolam wouldn't have helped him to sleep for several hours, it just doesn't make sense.
 
He just said he looked at his watch...but didn't he say to the emergency doctors he didn't know what time he gave him the sedatives because he didn't have a watch
 
an hour later hes still wide awake and he thinks loraz will have cleared the system so he gives midazalam. 2mg injected slowly time gives loraz at 2am thats a guess so at 3 he gives midaz. he waits again. still wide awake. asks mj if he feel drowsy.. tells mj to meditate.try that instead. does that. and his eyes close. watch him for 10-15 mins this was 3.20am appox.

HE JUST SAYS I WASNT WATCHING MY WATCH! SO HE HAD ONE ON NOW HE SAID L OOKED AT MY WATCH
 
WOW............so many references to him 'looking at his watch'...........but later claims at hospital he had no watch and had no concept of time or when Lorazepam given? What a focking liar.
 
Murray claimed he looked at his WATCH when MJ slept a bit around 3:30ish.
 
Wait, did Murray just say that he didn't check "his watch" for time? He didn't say that he wasn't wearing one, but that he didn't look at it. Did I hear that right??


Edit: seeing all your posts, I guess I got it right. Damn, Murray, you lying a**.

Haha, he's majorly put his foot in it. In the interview he's regularly spinning off times that he supposedly looked at his watch, but then said to the emergency doctor he didn't have a watch and so also had no sense of time. Woopsie!
 
how is it possible that he is awake all the time? I mean at some time you just have to fall asleep, especially with drugs.. :(
 
So he claims he gave 2 doses of Versed (aka Midazolam) BUT he didn't admit this to Dr Cooper or Dr Nyugen (he claimed he'd only given him 2 doses of lorazepam)........did he just FORGET he'd reportedly given 2 doses of Versed?

I am so not buying that with all of these IV benzos he'd been giving that none of it was working for MJ. Don't believe a word of it.

after 10 mins hes wide awake again 0430 still awake. then mj complains i have to rehearse or i will have to cancel rehearsal etc.tells mj to close his eyes and try. SO HE LOOKS AT HIS WATCH and decides cause i gave him the other drugs earlier i can give him some more now. another 2 mg of loraz this is at 5am. complains again about cancelling the shows etc.waits again till daylight comes at around 6.30. 7.30 still awake gives him another 2mg of midazalom infusion. still awake cautiously! checks IV line to make sure its working ok its not leaking. made mj stand and urinate into the bag. now its after 10am before that hes just talking to mj. complaining again.cancel rehearsals. please give me some milk to sleep. ie diprivan
 
I took all precaution that was available to me - **** you murray you did not
 
He's not mentioning being on the phone at all or making any calls; acts like he's just sitting there watching MJ try to sleep or meditate. Pfft!
 
10:50 MJ does go to sleep...he took all precautions available to him, oxygen at bedside, pulse oximeter (however its spelt) by bedside.

If he can tell the Police all this, why did he not tell the doctors/paramedics when they were trying to save his life.
 
What I don't really understand is that Murray is saying he wasn't there on sundays at Mj's request. So what, Michael didn't have trouble sleeping on those sundays? Or did he just not sleep that day at all or something? I know we won't get an anwser but I think it's a bit random. Maybe he wanted a little break from the medication, I guess.
I know it's not technically fully related to the trial so I'll stop.
Btw just want to thank everyone for updating these threads it's really helpfull :)
 
admited giving him propofol more than 10 times over the last 2 months, admitted gave it daily with exception of 3 days leading up to his death tried to wean him off the medication.

I also reacted about that choise of words. This doc must be insane! I mean, I got propofol last year during a kidney stone operation and Mr Murray talks about it as every day medicine. Totally insane!
 
gives the diprivan at 10.40 (hes on 2 phones at 10.40!! ) murrays saying u wont get much sleep knowing what time it is. complaining about cancelling again. murray agrees to do it. switches over to diprivan gives him 25mg had to dilute it with lidocane first slowly infused at 10.50? now hes asleep. did u take any precautions any machines? i took all precautions that were available to me. oxygen everynight pulse oxy meter (that wasnt on mj when found) it shows the heart rate. (does it??) murray says he gave diprivan it before. but a lesser amount cause of all the other stuff he had given him before. highest amount he gave to mj b4 directly would be 50mg b4 starting a drip of it.
 
Again he mention other doctors allegedly given mj propofol. I thought he didn't know about the doctors. smh What? He saying other docs let mj infuse it himself and murray says he won't let him do that in his presents. That's b.s. Notice how Chernoff is in the back adding his imput guiding Murray scripted answers! Disgusting! Now Dr. Lee is mentioned!

Just playing the devil's advocate, we don't know that the oxygen tank was empty while MJ was in the bed. It's possible that the tank was turned on (valve opened) and him using it until he was found not breathing.....and then the tank was naturally never turned off and that by the time investigators went to the house, the tank would have been empty because nobody would have turned it off (turning off the tank wouldn't have been something anyone would have even considered doing, the priority was to get MJ to the hospital).
