Murray Trial- Day 17 - October 25

Will the jury see the lies here? He didn't tell Katherine, he didn't comfort the kids. Because if lies about that then he can lie about everything else.
That's what's scary, the fact that he will lie about even the little things.

Will the jury see the lies here? He didn't tell Katherine, he didn't comfort the kids. Because if lies about that then he can lie about everything else.

I think the DA needs to keep the focus on the big lies he told. Namely about the time he left the room, about not telling the polices about the cellphone calls, when did he find Michael, was he alive and have pulse, or was he already dead, didn't tell polices about the drug he had AA hide, and all the different stories he told the MTs and the people at the ER.

Whether he told Michael's mother about her son's death or the statement are kind of minor points to the above.

I bet the defence now realise just how stupid it was to let him do the interview in the first place. So many things can now be discredited due to them not adding up/making sense with the conflicts of the interview and witness testimonies.

Chernoff

has reviewed her charts duing the evening

She's not feeling well, Judge Pastor allows her to take a rest.

She has phd in nutrition, attended classes about Iv nutrition, is a certified nutritionnist

Believes in holistic medicines, explains why : was medically challenged, at age 7 almost got both of her legs amputated for exema, one doctor stood out and said he wouldn't amputate her legs, she wants to give back to others what this doctor gave to her. Went into comas. Says «* you don't have to be ill*».

Chernof shows her her records; wants to clear the dates

April 12 : MJ said he wanted products for sleep , he didn't say what he wanted exactly

April 19 : went to Mjs house in the morning to pepare hil a smoothie, B12. MJ said he had trouble sleeping, brought up the idea of her watching him sleep. Said he had a pattern of 2 to 3 hours sleep.
Then CL came back in evening , went to his room, at around or after 11pm.
CL said MJ asked for diprivan for the 1st time in the morning, she didn't know what it was. MJ said tDirprivan was the only medication that gets him to sleep right away. They had talked about natural ways, and sleep hygiene (lights on, phone near head), that's why he asked her to watch him to sleep. She brought him a docuentary from sleep doctors.

She tried to understand why he couldn't sleep. MJ said he had difficulty to sleep right away, he had tried everything; She didn't know what diprivan was. She doesn't know if he had received it in the past, he had a familiarity with it.

Befeore coming back in the evening, she searched what diprivan was, called a doctor. The doctor explained what it was , said it was never used at home. She was still at the house when she called the doctor, she stepped out (she had to step out, she had a poor phone), and called the doctor. She told MJ all that the doctor told her. MJ said doctors had told him it was safe, he thought he would be safe he if he had someone home to monitor him.

She went to her office , got her PDR , and showed the PDR to MJ. He said he had had diprivan for surgery, had fallen asleep easily , needed to rest to work.

Chernoff asks her to check her records.

Yesterdy she said the he slept for 5 hours when she watched him, actually MJ slept for 3 hours based on her medical records.

MJ mentionned no other doctors to CL.

MJ said that when he was in rehearsal , he couldn't go to sleep.

After he woke up on the 19th, after 3 hours, he wasn't happy, he wanted to sleep longer. Mentionned dirpivan again, said it was the only thing that will help me go to sleep right away, asked CL to help him find someone who could do it.

MJ got up, complained that he hadn't slept, his performance would't be good.

She never saw him again, she would have gone back there for nutrition

June 21st : received a call from Faheem Mohammed in the morning. FM called to say MJ wanted to see her. She could hear mj in the background «*tell her what's wrong with me, one half of my body is hot, one half is cold*». She told Fm that someone needed to take him to the hospital. CL was in Florida when she got the call.

She saw a battery of symptoms from Diprivan in the PDR, she was worried; She mentionned the incident to the police, she thought it could be a central nervous system problem. It was one of the symptoms she had gone through with MJ.

In July 09, when she talked to the police, she didn't know what medication MJ was taking.

Walgren :

CL has been a nurse practionner since around the 80s, 82.
Got her PhD in holistic medicine in about 86

jan 29 : she saw the kids for a cold

feb 1st , came back to give nutritional supplements

she kept records
she did a thorough medical check up, MJ said he had vitilago, lupus
redbull cans were obiuous, she knew MJ was drinking Redbull
MJ went to sleep with lights on, music on , movies on, it was something that could be remedied
She documented everything
When MJ was performing, MJ said «*people wuld have to mop the floor for sweating*»

February 1st progress notes Walgren : «*may I appraoch the witness to reference a particular page*» : she took his vital signs (BP, pulse rate, respiratory rate, asked for his weight)
One of the plans was to do lab work : he wanted to start a nutritional program, so wanted to find out where he was with his health
drew blood, MJ had small veins
advised MJ to stop drinking redbull
went through the lab results with MJ, had a long comprehensive visit to go through them with him

february 2nd progress notes, february 3rd progress notes : documented complaints if any, findings, her impressions, her recommendations

februray 16th documented his BP, discussed the lab results; the con tinuing plan was : MJ needs to discontinue the redbull drinks.

Performed 2 lab works, second one was because she wanted to see the effect of the treatment ; MJ had greatly improved, his results were normal

march 9 : documented complaints if any, findings, her impressions, her recommendations . Lab results consultation : went through the lab results with MJ.

March 13 progress note : documented complaints if any, findings, her impressions, her recommendations

March 16 : no complaints, feels good, recommendation for vitamins, myers cocktail, further nutrition supplements;

march 20th, 24 th Stream went off for a few minutes

april 19th stream goes off again

April 19th morning conversation ; Mj requested observation : someone to observe him sleep , to watch his sleep pattern of 3 hours. He asks for diprivan, she had never heard of propfol, never used it. She had to search, made a phone call, and found out it's use in hospital , for surgery or in the icu.

Advised Mj that it was not safe to use it at hme, it's used in hospital for surgery , MJ assured her it would be safe, he only needed a doctor to monitor him.
Brought back the PDR from her office, showed to it to MJ, explained to him the side effects.
PDR states a great deal of side effects, some f them were dizziness, agitation , chills, tremblig, memory loss.
CL asked MJ «* what if you forget your lines*», he said he would never forget his lines, he said again that doctors told him he would be safe. «*What if you don't wake up*» , he said I'll be fine if I have a doctor to monitor me with the equipment.
CL starts crying. She wants to say something , the judge says no, you can only answer questions.s

night of April 19 : at 12 15 MJ fell asleep, he woke up a 3 15. He said he needed diprivan IV, again CL said it would be dangerous, MJ repeated he would be Ok if a doctor monitored him.

She never saw MJ again.

July 2009, CL was interviewed by police. She said she told MJ «*no one who cared or had your best interet at heart would give it to you*»

Chenoff

She gave interviews to Larry King, and to several other media oulets, prior to talking the police . Cl explains one of her patient is a PR, who had a relationship with the media

June 21st : the call was in the morning , doesn't remember what time, she was exhausted, she was in the ER as a patient.

Hospital executive, Stanford hopsital.

June 25th, was chief operating executive at UCLA medical center.

UCLA is multi story hospital, ER is on the ground floor. In patient building is one building, there several other building. His office i

ER is 200 feet north, through some doors and hallways from his office.
To go from the West Lobby to the ER , you ccan walk through a lobby, or go outside to the west lobby.

He was working on June 25th, first learned that MJ was at UCLA through the ER. They said there was a person of interest, he didn't know it was MJ.

Er was fonctioning routinely, doesn't recall the time it was , MJ was in a trauma room. He didn't look inside the room; Stayed outside the room, securing the area for privacy and security. Called campus police, LAPD
Remembers people he presumed were security people, from Mjs staff. Later on, there were family members. In retrospect saw CM briefly. ADR stayed 45 mn in the ER.

Helped organise for conference rooms, 3 were used : one for the family, one for the police, another one in the west lobby for other people. The one in the west lobby was ued for a meeting about a press relase,. There were the head of UCLA PR , AEG people, Jermaine Jackson, maybe other persons. ADR was back and forth from the room.

Press release was given in the auditorium in the basement, it given by Jermaine Jackson, MJs brother.

Saw CM in the conference room, CM was reading the press release ,CM was commenting that the cause of death was not known at this time. He looked distresssed, as did everyone in the room. Didn't know he was a physician, ADR didn't differentiate him from othr people.

Walgren :

Katherine Jackson was notified by Richelle Cooper. ADR told the police he heard the anguish of a mom losing her son, it was not a good thing to hear.

Will the jury see the lies here? He didn't tell Katherine, he didn't comfort the kids. Because if lies about that then he can lie about everything else.
thats whats the rebuttal and closing statements are for. walgren needs to set out every detail of every lie. because things such as the above could go over the jurys heads during testimony. if they dont renemer the actual lie as they heard it they would have to go through his interview and connect it to what the witness said

I'm pretty sure they aren't "minor points" to Katherine or the children! And, they point out, with NO doubt, Murray's trend of LYING. Some of the other lies might be a bit more difficult to prove, but this one is OBVIOUS. Clearly, Walgren picked up on that, and he certainly may bring that up in his summation. It also points out Murray's stunning lack of character, that he would even lie about something like "comforting the children." Not only did he NOT "comfort the children," but he's never even said "sorry for your loss!" What this lie demonstrates is that not only did Murray have complete disregard for Michael's life, but also disregard for his family and orphaned children. He didn't even SPEAK to them, but scuttled from the hospital. Wow, that's bad.

Finished goign through the thread and again a million thanks to all those who updated! While reading up I read somewhere that lunch break is gonna be over at 1pm today?
I defintiely need to watch this on youtube when it's uploaded

Yeah they took an early lunch due to the delays earlier.

I know. I have been crying on and off all day to this.

saw this on twitter

let's see if you an identify everyone

Just caught up with today's testimony of Lee's but agree with everyone that she was brilliant for the pros - wonder why they never called her themselves. Thought it v telling on chernoff's direct that she said that mj was familiar with propofol, but he had only had it with surgery and had been told it was safe if monitored with equipment which is perfectly correct as shaffer confirmed. That must be the experience of millions of people in hospitals or dentists who have had prop and been told it was a safe drug. MJ's only problem was that he thought he could use it to get him off to sleep during his rehearsals and tour and was told this was a dangerous idea by Lee. Obvious inference being that murray or indeed any reasonably competent doctor should have told him this too. Really can't see how the defence thought this witness could possibly help their case.

Oh and in april, mj was still prepared to look at natural ways of managing his sleep problems and was interested in natural remedies for boosting energy and his vitamin intake. Interesting behaviour from an 'out-of-control drug addict'.

Brought back the PDR from her office, showed to it to MJ, explained to him the side effects.
PDR states a great deal of side effects, some f them were dizziness, agitation , chills, tremblig, memory loss.
Karen Faye's testimony is going to blow up on the defense too.

says they first approached Michael in 2007
Tom Barrack called him and approached him again about possible concerts involving

says in summer 2008 he met with thomea in the bel air hotel, the meeting was about concerts and MJ restarting his career, says Thomea introduced himself as Michael's manager at that time.
Says he was defnitely ready to put together those concert tour.
says he had numerous telephone calls with thome and numerous negotions, says dennis hawk and peter lopez were the attorneys negotiating the deals as well, along with thome thome,
says the first meeting he had with MJ in 2008 was in Sep 08 at the Bel Air Hotel. Only, MJ, Phillips, and Thome were present, says he vaguely got to know MJ's bodyguards, but they weren't present at the actual meeting.
Says he had already discussed what AEG was interested in with Michael was, that they'd start in London at the O2, doing an residency at the O2, said they wanted to advertize it around the world. says only a special artist would be capable of doing that.
*Chernoff is trying to lead the witness again, speculates again, objection from the prosection and it's sustained*
chernoff asks if it was part of the meeting to discuss the phase plan in september 2008, Randy says yes.
Chernoff asks if MJ was ready to do it at that time, Randy says yes, says they had numerous meetings after the one in September 08, all of them took place at the Bel Air Hotel.
Chernoff asks if he recalls a particular meeting around Halloweeen 2008, Randy says he yes, says Thomee, him, and Michael were present, he knows it was Halloween cuz the kids were dressed up, says Michael said one of the reasons was that he was fed up of living like 'vagabonds'
he wanted to finally settle down, claims Michael got emotional during the meeting.
*Murray's got a smirk on his face, I wanna slapt it off hsi face*
Says the meeting lasted around one and half hours.

Says original contract stated 31 shows, claims Michael came up with the number cuz he wanted to do 10 more than Prince did, says contract was signed in Jan 09, says he signed on behalf of AEG and MJ signed as well.
Chernoff asks how AEG wanted to do money, out of the concerts, asks if he can estimate how much money Michael would have made if he had completed. Judge sustains Walgren's objections.
Now Chernoff asks about rehearsals, says rehearsals are needed for shows right? Randy says yes, Chernoff goes on about preparations and asks if it was asked in the contract, Walgren objects and jugde sustains, sidebar now, prosecution asked to approach

Chernoff goes on, asks if Randy was aware that Michael had moved into Carolwood, asks when Michael moved in, Randy says it had to be sometime in January (wrong it was late 08, around nov/dec), Jerkoff wants to know if AEG paid for the residence, Walgren objects, judge sustains due to relevance.
Now Chernoff asks to aprroach,

Chernoff asks if there was any movement from Jan 26 to first week of March, Randy says no there wasn't any. Asks again if the initial agreement was for 31 shows, Randy says yes. Asks if he is familiar with the term 'teaser' for advertizing Randy says yes, asks if there were any plans to see how the reaction would be
Randy says yes, initially they put out 10 shows, says u'd never put all the shows on, says the initial shows were put on sale right after the conference in March 5.
Chernoff asks if there were further negotions with Michael after March 5, Randy says yes, says Gongaware was in touch with creative stuff

Asks how the conference was organized, asks if MJ was late, Walgren objects, judge sustains, ask if Randy was present, Walgren objects judge sustains says he should move to another subject now.
Now asking about the sales, Randy says they were fab, says they were over the top, says they had a pre-registration, Randy says the registrations were mind blowing, he had never seen that kind of demand ever before, says the 31 were already sold out during presale, says Gongaware told him this was an unprecedented demand.
Says he first spoke to Thome then to Michael, says Michael said 50 would be the limit, says he didn't want to be stuck in London and live there, and get a new passport, says Michael wanted a sixteen plus acres, says he didnt' want to be trapped in hotel rooms. Says Michael wanted him to arrange a meeting with the Guiness Book of records.

was mj ready in 2008 for the shows? randy says he didnt know it was the first meeting. was the way the meeting was set up normal? yes .then there were other meetings and talks with thome and lawyers lopez and another lawyer

met mj face to face in sept 2088 thome randy and mj met up at the hotel.. had you discussed with thome about AEGs idea for the show? yes. the plan was to start in london at the 02 and do a residency. that was the first phase. that was discussed with thome. the plan was discussed with mj and mj thought it was a good idea.mj was energised and motivated

concert needed rehearsals dancers etc etc tries to bring money issue back in objection walgren asks to approach hes pissed off and so he should be

Approaching? I guess it's to do with Chernoff's constant piss poor questions regarding the contract....

says Michael said one of the reasons was that he was fed up of living like 'vagabonds'
he wanted to finally settle down, claims Michael got emotional during the meeting.
.

Randy also said he were almost crying during that meeting listening/talking to MJ

Chernoff is pushing it. Finances are irrelevant and inadmissible. He needs to cut it out.

randy knows mj moved into carolwood as the contract was signed there. did aeg pay for the house. objection substained. contract was for 31 shows it went up to 50

chernoff now approaches

The financial situation of mj was also irrelevant to the arvizo 05 case but it was still allowed in, so big thanks to pastor for keeping it out.

Off topic, Does Prince know that Michael would bring his name up like that? Even Kenny said something that Michael had an idea and that if he didn't do it that god would give it to Prince or something like that.

Michael had a good home in Neverland but he couldn't live there anymore because what was done to him. That makes me mad.
