!!!!notice to loyal fans no downloading!!!!!!!

i am anti priracy/downloading but there is no stopping it - i personally have seen it 4 times and dont think that give me the right to break the law, the more people download it the more they share it the more easier and quicker it is downloading so more people get involved and download = just my opinion
 
I agree. No need to steal the movie.
Go to your theather. It's a wonderful experience too see him on the big screen.
 
I've already seen it in theaters three times, so I'll watch it online as much as I damn well want lol.

The DVD is supposed to have extras anyway so, I'll still have a reason to get that.
 
everyone bitching about it being downloaded needs to get over it...downloading the movie doesn't mean ur not loyal and thats a load of bs...the movie was gonna get bootlegged anyway...you're lucky your neighborhood bootlegger aint got a stand around the corner of your house selling that AND the soundtrack on bootleg...i understand not posting links and things of that nature but dont shoot down fans that have spent MORE THAN ENOUGH MONEY im sure on MJ if they want to download TII And keep it in the comps THEN LET THEM...its not like we are not going to buy the dvd and anything else that comes out on TII. Hell we've prolly already seen in it 3-4 times in the theaters...so i think Sony has gotten plenty of our money...and i know what ur gonna say its the principle and blah blah blah...im in the entertainment industry and i know how it works and believe me NO ONE cares about no principles. people can fight piracy all they want but the shit ain't going anywhere...I download stuff I know im gonna buy anyway so its not like those sony execs aint gonna be spending my hard earn pennies on they mistresses..with all that said...

Im happily going to download TII and since I have one on preorder from itunes I will be getting 2 more copies when it comes to dvd (one to keep in plastic)

I WANT EVERYTHING MICHAEL HAS EVER RECORDED. This is what makes me a fan. The fact that Sony is releasing all new material one song at a time alongside a double disc of greatest hits that all loyal fans have on at least three different albums is STEALING. So I WILL download the new song and not feel guilty, because I can spend that money on something more worthwile, or I don't know, maybe food or rent.

I will be downloading the movie (I am right now btw) but I will also buy the DVD and blu ray, I'm only downloading it so I dont have to open the dvd or blu ray.......
 
I cant stand watching movies online anyway. Why would anyone want to watch something that was filmed on someones mobile phone? I've seen TII twice at the cinema and am seeing it again. I need to see Michael full screen, not a grainy image on a torrent site.

I was just about to say that. I never downloaded a cam movie before so I was surprised about it's quality. It certainly wasn't shaky, grainy or had people passing the screen or talking. Of course it's no DVD quality. More like an oldish tape.

not quite becaue they are filthy rich and they can afford to do the right thing without having to make any sacrifice on their part. They wont miss out on their new car, their new house, or their new vacation. But they try to take advantage of the loyalty of MJ's fans.

Sony tries to make a buck and save a buck whereever they can. It's expected that others will do the same. This is capitalism, and if Sony doesn't like it, then hell they can act like socialists and give is to us for free, which they wont, so it's back to the dog eat dog, social darwanism, capitalist system Sony relies on. They need that system to continue or they would be just as poor as everyone else.

Besides every corporation including Sony will cut corners, break rules, and break laws when they think nobody is looking. EVERY CORPORATION AND EVEN EVERY SMALL BUSINESS does it at least once in a while.

Look how Sony handled the single "This is it." Did they have permission to release that? Hell no they didn't. Think they never tried to bribe politicians into those tax breaks, or to get contracts for filming locations for their movies?

Think again. Even a restuarant will cut corners with the health code stuff. If you look close enough at any establishment you will find something that looks bad.

This is capitalism. To complain about people trying to maximize their own wealth with downloading is no better than to complain about Sony doing what they are doing.

Were all just trying to make it in a capitalist society. Hopefully someday that will change and people will no longer climb the ladder by stepping on the backs of others, but for right now people have an almost religous hatred of anything communism even though it provides american students with an education, cars with streets to drive on, a mail delivery system, medicare, social security, NASA etc.

Personally I have legally purchased Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, History, Blood on the dance floor, Invincible, Ultimate Collection, Dangerous the short films, History volume 1 and 2, Number ones, and Ghosts. I have also illegally downloaded unreleased songs, Shout, acapellas, remixes, instrumentals. I have also watched leaked concerts on you tube. I'm not apologizing, and if Sony keeps giving us compiliations with one or two new songs on it, there is a highly good chance I'm going to steal it. The only way I would not steal it is if I can't get a good sound quality. They want to try and screw me over on my money by trying to get me to buy 10 albums each with one new song, knowing how hard it is for us fans to resist it, than bam, I'll screw them over by downloading it. What goes around comes around. This is my putting capitalist pressure on them to make different business decisions.

if you are downloading a torrent you are not just downloading it for yourself, but you are automatically uploading it to other people. this is how torrents work. you are helping to give Michael's work to other people who have no intention of paying for this. think about his children.

well personally I've never used a torrent site. but not for the reasons you mentioned.

Let me think about his children for a few seconds........

They are filthy rich before they are even old enough to get a work permit. I'm happy for em on that point, but you say "think of the children" as if I'm supposed to feel sympathy for their financial situation. They have already made more money than I will make in my entire life without having to lift a finger. They will never have to go without anything.

But I should go without beause of greedy ceos? I don't even know if MJ would want somebody who makes minimum wage to sit and do work that is painful on your hands, to spend their money in this situation. He'd probably prefer they download it. He cared very much for the poor and the poverish.

I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on MJ stuff. If sony shows their appreciation the way they have been, they aren't getting jack.

Bottom line. if I can't afford it than I can't afford it and no amount of lecturing us is going to magically put the money in my bank account so that I will be able to afford it. And I am in no way going without MJ. Those millionaries can handle losing out on my 20 dollars a lot easier than I can handle losing out on MJ stuff.

Plus MJ made it 10000000000000%%%%%%%%% clear. His work was not for money. It was for love. All he really wanted in return from us was for us to enjoy his work and love it. He wasn't some selfish capitalistic pig who wanted to exploit his fans. He appreciated how badly we wanted to hear his music and watch him dance.

Is it me or this words will become a trademark? I already used the phrase two times since I watched the movie.

I had downloaded a cam version, I saw it at the movies and I will certainly buy the bluray. It's for the sound, the sound was amazing and I had to have it in my ears.

An idea to Sony: get the sound of the actual concert on a CD. I'll buy it.
 
I would buy it too. They should just done that in the first place. I'd have bought it.

I agree 100%. Actually, I'm ripping the audio from the file that I have and editing it down to just the music performances themselves... gonna have my own live CD until Sony gets off their ass and realizes that they ought to release them.

I did not purchase the 2-Disc This Is It CD. I DID, however, buy the amazing photobook from the rehearsals that Wal-Mart had on display next to it (if you haven't seen it, go buy it... only $15.00). I've seen This Is It in theaters 4 times now and will be going again. I'm buying the BluRay. And yep, I downloaded a bootleg. Deal with it people!

sing it brother. were not afraid to give em our money when they deserve it. I'll also be buying the dvd. I'm not going to download a bootleg though just because I'll watch it so many times that by the time the dvd comes out I will have worn it out for myself.

Exactly... I don't feel as though I'm doing anything wrong at all. Like I said, I've seen it four times, went with my parents once and my sister once. So all in all I generated 7 ticket sales for the film.

As for wearing it out... is that possible? :cheeky:

The main reason for me to download the bootleg was to create audio files from the tracks... I LOVE the way that some of those songs sounded in the film, and I can't wait until the DVD to have it on my iPhone. The new mix of Jam especially kicks ass... :dancin:
 
I was afraid of this. Piracy is a major problem and some people don’t realize this while sitting and hiding behind their monitors. This is a serious crime and there is no excuse for it even if you are poor. When it comes to this movie you really need to see it in theaters and experience it with an audience, it is an experience of a life time, you shouldn’t miss it. And for the ones who will rip a DVD/BD online they will be also missing the pure quality if they don’t watch it on a Home Theater System. Over all, don’t steal it!!

Were selling MJ this is it Bootleg let's say outside of the local Fish Market or hair salone along with many other bootleg movies. I live in LA California and that happens all the time. Guy's go to the movie, copy it and sell it right outside of a popular food placem hair salon. ETC

I don't even see WHY people want to download it, I would rather watch THIS IS IT with a bunch of MJ fans at the movies and watch them sing their favorite songs along with Michael, Laugh at the funny parts, and Clap along with them after each performance, atleast thats what the fans were doing at the movie threater i went too.

I have paid to see this movie twice already. I have purchased tickets for friends who couldn't afford it. Shoot if times are that hard for some of yall, I would have purchased tickets for the weekend showings and emailed the codes to you. Thats how much I wanted MJ's movie box office effort to be amazing.

Boo thieves taking food out of Prince Michael, Paris, and Blankets mouths.

Everytime you torrent tii, you are giving it for free to alot of the haters and naysayers.

I've watched TII several times last week...and I have one more movie date this week....sorry but after watching it the first time....crazy me had started lookin and searching in the net if someone had already uploaded it ....and to my surprised......there's 2 version...russian and spanish......

And I downloaded it both......Really sorry for those who are against it.....but I just can't get TII off my mind.......I'm so crazy about it....even after watching it several times in the theater I still can't get over it....I still need to watch it all over and over again once I'm home......


And once it will be out for DVD ....I'm still gonna buy it........can't wait of the 2-3 hours of bonus clips......I'm sure MJ will blow my mind again and again.....
