Thanks for the tip!

 I went to the newsagent at Melbourne airport  and get this, they have Vogue, they have home living Vogue... they have a men's Vogue ... they have a recipe lifestyle kinda Vogue.... but no Italian Vogue!!

oh dear I was like staring at the poor guy like this

so back to the drawing board

Michael looks so sexy in this HQ one... look at the hair! Oh my... the man is to die for. I cannot wait for this magazine to hit the stores. This pic alone is worth it. He is looking better than ever before. He's absolutely georgeous. Look at those eyes....and his lips.

Breathless....

Please post all information about locations in which L'uomo Vogue will be sold at. If possible please include the country, name of store (ie. newstand, bookstore), and how much it will be. Get as much information as possible to get the most accurate place in getting the magazine. Thank you! :flowers:
I googled www.universalnewsusa.com / www.yelp.com
and found newsstands in New York City (10) and California (2)
that sells the magazine/ I called and they currently have the September issue only/
the October issue should arrive within one to two weeks / unfortunately they do not
ship / Price is $ 15.95/ However, I got the impression from Al's newstand that if an
order was received for a number of copies , they might negotiate on shipping

for new york city locations
www.universalnewsusa.com/publisher/docs/stores.html

In California:
Al's Newsstand
Neighborhood: Beverly Hills
216 S Beverly Dr
Beverly Hills, CA 90212
(310) 278-6397

and

Above The Fold Newsstand
Neighborhood: Santa Monica
257 Third Street Promenade
3rd Street Promenade & Arizona
Santa Monica, CA 90401
(310) 393-2690[/b]

Thanks for this. Great idea for those of us living on the east and west coast.

on the website www.yelp.com
key newstands - city & state in the search box
A list of newstands with address & telephone should appear
Just call to verify if they sell the magazine

I must be doing something wrong or else we don't have but one newstand in Miami and that's at the airport. We must call 'em something different. :(

Thanks for your efforts! :flowers:

There should be a pics only thread (no discussion) like we did all the time during the trial. That way people can see the pics without looking through 42 pages to find them. Then if you want to discuss the pics just come here. That'll make it easier. Because imagine when the real HQ sans from the magazine come out. People will have to search through 100+ pages to find them.

They already have copies of the magazine up for sale on ebay. But the prices are sort of ridiculous. They're charging $22.00 to $24.00 and on top of that, $13.00 to $17.00 for shipping.

They are taking advantage of the demand on this magazine... stupid, we'll get it.. I'll just wait..

Where in Georgetown? I live there and want to find this magazine![/b]
Oh you live in Georgetown and/or DC, cool! And suddenly you're calling me out for a reality check b/c I'm realizing that its been so long since I've been there but if I were there now, first I'd run to the newsstand on Connecticut Ave (sorry not Florida - about a block or half a block off Florida Ave, right where Fl forks at Connecticut) at about 18th/19th and Connecticut -the name of it was either The News Room or The News Stand, one or the other, they had every magazine on the planet, (gosh i miss that place) I'd also check with KramerBooks and Afterwards about a block off Dupont Circle on the left going toward Dupont Circle from Fl Ave -

- the one in G'town was on M St. (i can go there but am bad w/ directions) - going toward key bridge from Wisconsin Ave (ChevyChase side), about 4 blocks or so from Wisconsin on the right hand side of the street -

I'd bet on The News Stand/Room on Connecticut or Kramerbooks and Afterward b/c they'd been there forever and had absolutely every major magazine on the planet. I can't imagine them ever going anywhere. I don't know how helpful that is afterall, so let your fingers do the walking first

Guess you'll have to order it in the end, huh? Like many of us...
Well, I was all morning busy to make phonecalls to the most important (!) newsagents in the city...and none of them have it!!! :banghead
...So I order it on line in the end, it's gonna cost me 5 times the actual price due to the shippment fees but hey! what can I say, if I wanna have it I gotta *sigh* pay the price!! :p

that cover shot is interesting.. I can remember at least one other picture where he has that exact same expression - the one of him standing by his neverland carousel horse around the bad era.. i dont know much about photography and portaiture, but is it common that you can get similar expressions from the same individual years and years apart? just makes me wonder..

thanks for the updates ;) its fun

Tell me about it, thats exactly what I said about one of the pics that had the exact same look/expression from the 'YANA' time frame. It's good to see that someone else noticed the same thing.

yes Michael is very photogenic.

Hey yea this will be a good thread instead of weeding through the 40 + page. I will change the title so people will know to put that info here. Thank you mickson177 for this idea.[/b]
I liked this idea too, nobody should expect that people looking for information on where to buy Italian Vogue will read through 1,050 posts just to possibly find some scattered information. Similar to how there was a thread during the VMAs strictly for tickets/travel information.

Whatever happened to the one pic of MJ doing his 'screaming' pose.. How come no new versions of that have been released.. no High res. no nothin'.. I wonder if it did not make the magazine..[/b]

OMG that is my favorite out of all the new photos most definately

I think the pictures will be published in several mags later on through special licenses etc... But getting the real thing is what it's all about.
;)

the fashion editor, as mentionned in the same article ;)[/b]
Oh, I thought it was me. :innocent:

Why are people mentioning GQ? Are the pictures going to be in GQ as well?

That would be a good thing......especially for those of us who will not be able to get a copy of L'oumo Vogue for ourselves! :flowers:

In Norway the Mag comes out in 2 weeks(Narvesen)[/b]
Okey thanks! I've contacted Narvesen to ask if the magazine comes out in all the shops but havn't got an answer yet.
Aghr kinda frustrating to wait another 2 weeks when I prepared for October 3rd, but nothing to do with that I guess. But thanks for telling though!

What's GQ?

What's GQ?
[/quote]

it is basically a fashion mag for men that has everything that caters to things that interests men such as tech news, movies, sex etc.
