What a thriller those pics
from italian Vanity Fair (issue n. 40 - 11 October 2007)

2 trucks full of clothes. 178 pairs of shoes. 2 million dollars in jewels. Four Seasons Hotel, New York, September 14. Michae Jackson makes the scene. For the 25 years of Thiller, the most outsold album in history, L'Uomo Vogue decided to photograph the main character: a discussed celebrity and now «invisible», who we've seen in the last 15-20 years in stolen pictures, and that for long time hasn't agreed to pose. But for L'Uomo Vogue, and for a photographer like Bruce Weber; Michael makes an exception. Under the hypnotized eyes of fashion editor Rushka Bergman, the popstar chooses classic style: black jackets and white shirts. Meanwhile on the set, to heat up the atmosphere, someone puts on just the music from Thriller, and the troupe start to dance. MJ enters and everyone stop, in silence. But he [Michael] asks to pump up the volume, starts to move and he doesn't stop, while the camera continues to take pictures. You'll find the outcome, of which you can see a sample, in the October issue of L'Uomo Vogue. But many fans, all over the world, have already had a glance to it. Because a «mole» published some shots on the internet, who knows where they were stolen from, and the very-clicked gossip website Perez-Hilton shared them, spreading the sensational exclusive all over the web.

FINNALLY I've my copy!!! :sarmoti from today the mag is available in Rome too :wild: !!! and I've the promotional only mega poster (size 66x88cm) too that the man of the shop gave to me as a gift!!! :p
 
I dunnnoo, at first i thought this was an 'just cuz' thing for MJ...but the fact that they gave the pics to Vanity Fair (is that a sister Mag?) is telling me that they want more publicity for this than their own mags would give them. Maybe this IS the first of many things to come from MJ...

Yes. L'Uomo Vogue, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour and GQ too come from the same publisher.

The magazine has an on sale date of the 19 October but this is not a definite date as to when it will be dispatched.



There potentially could be supply problems with this issue as it is proving rather popular !!!



We cannot guarantee that the magazine will be with us on the 19 October this is just a guideline issued by the magazine distributor in the UK.
 
I've did a colorisation too with a subtle water color filter... Hope you like it and have mercy I am only a beginner with this kind of work! :blush:

Can I suggest to whoever colorizes Vogue's pics to add a watermark like "colorized by a fan"? Since some people, fans included, may believe those are true. :innocent:
