idk if they would sell both or not! but i do know that one with the images on it is just the cover/case that the book goes in. so maybe there is a front and back or somethin! i dunno but i cant wait til it comes out!!!!!!!!

I think maybe they'll send the opus with the original cover to those who preordered and then make another patch with the second cover for the 'general sale'? I have no idea, really, just thinking out loud. I'll be overjoyed which ever cover graces my copy once it arrives. But in all honesty, if given a choice, I prefer the original cover artwork. So, I'm hoping my little theory would be correct.

Concerning the covers of the Opus book and the Case - what is on their site now is the actual covers for the project and it will not be changed again. They had a temporary one with the ultimate collections pic to hold them over while an artist Michael commissioned to do paintings made the design you see now. The temporary one was a well known picture and easily recognized.
The artist who designed the MJ Opus cover is none other then Nate Giorgio. He will also be featured in the MJ Opus. You can see some of his art that Michael commissioned in his gallery on his website http://www.nategiorgio.com/

The temporary cover (and I'm glad it was intended to be temp) was classic-looking BUT wasn't special enough. Saw the same design on the Ultimate Collection and a similar one for the current This Is It publicity.

To retain it's value the Michael Jackson OPUS has limited it's publication to having only one printing and it's available in several languages what does this break down to in estimated numbers. How many Michael Jackson OPUS's will be made in total and will they actually be numbered?
We are not doing the language translations as there were not enough requests. We also finally decided that since Michael performed in English we would be true to that. We are not numbering the OPUS' and we will accommodate as many of his fans as want the OPUS with a cut off date yet to be determined. It is an always has been our feeling that this OPUS would be the definitive tribute to Michael and the only one that would benefit his mother and children as Michael had dictated.
The way this is being produced will guarantee that it will last his fans for many years.

I am not happy to hear that Quincy Jones is one of the contributor. I already ordered mine, but I am giving a side eye to whoever thought Quincy was faithful to MJ.

the prices are definately gone up in TMaster, it is only at first you see the same price.
The taxes and delivery price is higher now, if you pay in euros with delivery to the rest of the world, it's up for something like 37 euros than what it was before.

Before the 27th the Opus was advertised that the $165 price was half price and it would be $330 after the 27th. Well now the Opus is $250. Seems that they were lying about the price in order to get more preorders.
