i hate that my rep point system is acting like it knows what's inside my head, and is taking the piss, because of it.:)
 
Right now it's those few people who were lucky enough to be close to Michael who go out to say that fans will basically only miss Michael for his music and dancing. Some, not all. Some of them will talk about us fans like we knew nothing about Michael besides his music and dancing. It really irks me that some don't realize that we all feel like we knew Michael..Michael Jackson..not just Michael the Entertainer.

I agreed with your post. I saw someone say that on TV actually. I forgot who it was but she said "to the world he was an icon, but to us, he was Michael". And I was like what!? But you know... it just the fact that she totally generalized the population over her own views. I couldn't help but feel like an outcast type of fan who never "knew" Michael.
Geez, I love Michael Jackson for many reasons. And that does include his entertaining value as well. So sue me if I love how he danced and sang.
I only know what I read and saw. And much of it was lies while some were great truths.

That was Janet. She said something like... To you he was an icon, but to us, he is family. I'm not angry at her for saying it as she's grieving and because Michael is her brother. It's the others who aren't family who try and label us fans as people who just love Michael the Entertainer and not Michael the Entertainer and Michael the person.

If we didn't love "Michael the person" we wouldn't be hurting like we are.

Anyway, I have another to add: Those ads that pop up on websites that say things like "I went from flab to fab by following just ONE rule." The ad will show a picture of a beer belly next to a flat belly. A lot of the time I am snacking on something when I am online and I come across these ads. It's GROSS, I don't see these pictures while I am eating! These ads are so widespread now, they're almost as excruciating as the lowermybills.com ads.
 
Pet Peeve: I effin hate it when ppl ask me "wheres so & so" .. & they don't even look for it first.

I won't help you find it unless you have already searched.
 
*People who have ringtones of the most annoying songs, and they let the entire song play out before answering their phones.

*Pedestrians that refuse to walk in a straight line and at a steady pace when crossing the street. They must walk at an angle. WATCH IT, I'M DRIVIN' HERE!!

*People with really bad breath and a complete disregard for personal space

*People who ask questions they know all the possible answers to.

*People who pretend to forget or not know of a certain name of a person, movie, song, etc., and instead, replace a word here or there, in an attempt to avoid an awkward situation. ("Guy, it's no big deal if you like that show, 'The Hills', and you know every character's full name & date of birth lol")
 
When people say they are "single" when they are just saying they don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend or they broke up with someone. Hello...until you get married you are single.
 
my greatest pet peeve is playing the 'what if' game. i know that that is such a great pet peeve, that i know there never will be one as great or greater, for me.
 
Another one of mine is when people just sit behind their computers all day making sick Michael Jackson jokes online. While Michael was trying to make the world a better place these sick, lazy bastards just act hardcore behind their keyboard and make jokes

yes...i agree. i was amazed last night, at how people on chat were talking about how sick they were of MJ tributes....while they were watching the grammys. i told them..'you are so sick of MJ tributes, that you are watching this broadcast.'

this was part of the big reason for MJ's big financial success. the haters helped to pay his bills.
 
I really find it funny how haters will go on youtube, type the name Michael Jackson in the search engine, watch one of his videos and then make a nasty comment on there. First of all why would someone waste time watching a video of someone they don't like and on top of that they are giving that person more popularity by watching their videos.

Either these people are really stupid or they are closet fans

closet insecure fans..that's what they are. but they are cold inside.

there was one person on that chat who said..'that's right..applaud for the p***'...while the audience was giving MJ's kids a standing ovation.

however, that person stayed on that chat, througout the tribute, and left, when it was over. i stayed, long enough to see how much longer he would stay on, after the tribute was over, and, sure enough, i never heard from him again, when it was over. but for some reason, he couldn't leave, while it was on.

It's quite pathetic, really.
 
My male co-workers who stand in the (very narrow) isles in between cubicles chatting with each other (instead of working) forcing me to pass awkwardly and uncomfortably through them if I need to get by. I just hate that. I think they do it on purpose and it's a form of sexual harassment in my opinion.
 
My dad when he falls asleep on the couch when I'm supposed to watch something. And about 10000 other things.

Also the way everyone (in our family) except me leaves the tv/lights on even though they're on the other part of the house! It's super frustrating to be the only ecological and clean person in your family!!!

I've never been a sports fan. As a matter of fact i couldn't give a crap about it. I always say ''each to their own'' and if someone likes sports then that's fine with me, but what i'm sick of is when i tell people that i'm not into sports they look at me as if i got an extra head growing out of my shoulder and for some reason my sexuality comes into question.

I just hate the thing of if your a man you must be into sports cause if your not into sports your not manly enough and therefore you must be gay
 
My first one would be people that dislike michael even though thay dont know much about him and thay judge him from what newspapper say,I cant stand People who lie,people that go out there way to hurt someone,also people that disrespect,people that are cruel to animals and children and humans,need need to be cruel to anything or anyone in this world xoxo
 
Automated calls, cliché movies or lines that make anyone cringe, snoring, journalists innuendos as opposed to facts, Cheap jokes that encourage judgment and ridicule, computerized singers (no need to name names but virtually every kid singer on the Disney channel) bureaucratic paper work, my former church complaining pornography and gay marriage are the worlds biggest single problems every week, I don't go there anymore but I'm serious, we never here about problems with war or poverty since our bishops changed. I could go on but I try not to have them all at the front of my mind all the time.
 
Another thing i hate is when Michael Jackson's trial is brought up and someone will say ''Not guilty doesn't mean innocent'' THEN WHAT THE HELL DOES IT MEAN THEN?!

It just really pisses me off when people say that
 
People who constantly make negative comments or threads about nothing, yet ignore positive or neutral topics, lol.

THANK YOU!!!!!! :punk: One of my friend's always made fun of me for saying it correctly and she would always try to say, no no it's valenTIMES! So I said, "so why the hell do they have valenTINES then on those little candies?" HAHAHA!!!
 
Another thing i really hate is people who bully through comedy with the safety nets of ''Oh i guess you got no sense of humor'' or ''can't you take a joke''
