Mike and Lionel were actually wrong - life is not the greatest gift of all. The greatest of ALL things (not just of the three theological virtues) is......LOVE. In the best of circumstances life can be the second greatest gift, but for some life can actually be a curse.

For the Will Browns, Sam Hoses, Jesse Washingtons, Anne Franks of the world and all those who live in perpetual agony life was and is very far from a gift and a blessing. Where Michael was perfectly right though was in Be not always

The world can be a terribly cold place filled with ignorance and hate; life - mere existence. In all of its beautiful facets and on all levels LOVE is the only thing that gives meaning and worth to life, otherwise life would be nothing but a waste of breath and time.

And to keep it up with the correction of song lyrics (cause i'm mighty shabby like that) i dare say and believe with all my soul that THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL is not the one we have for ourselves, but the one GOD HAS FOR US because He did not spare not even His own son for the sake of us, sinners.
