Preliminary Hearing 6/1/11 Day Three. Discussion thread

People are suppose to believe there were no phones or clocks in that big house? This is too much.

and it's simply so stupid.
all phones do have clocks!!!
and if you are administering such drugs, you just CAN'T NOT HAVE A WATCH!!!!!!

I don't know if laugh or cry. This is simply like one of those plots that are SO obvios that you wouldn't believe it at all!!!

This is all too much.. I swear if stupidity were a crime, this man would be locked up for life.

At 1:22 someone felt a pulse but not Dr Cooper herself. WHO felt the pulse? Murray at the house or someone at the hospital?

Someone at the hospital, I think. However Dr Cooper did not feel it, and Murray was gloved & trying to feel for one..

yup right murray was in haunted house which doesn't have address,no phone ,no clock.
he knew mj was dead way before calling911,his lying ass needed more time so he can make list of drug to police but he never mention any thing while others were trying to save mike.
it is like 2005 all over again.

they got to the hospital just after one. treatment lasted 1hr 20 mins approx at the hos

guys I updated my last post with some more info (last time I was trying to be fast, now I went back and added more relevant and important information).

Trials and Tribulations is following Murray Prelim and they are taking detailed notes. They are also making updates from the court. They do not wish their full notes to be copied and posted so as they post a update I'll go through and make a summary here. If you want to read their full posts you can visit Trials and Tribulationwebsite.

Dr. Cooper

- UCLA receives call from paramedics. They estimate time of cardiac arrest as 12:18 (this is an "estimated time" based on 911 call and information they receive). As the revival efforts produce no results Dr. Cooper gave the paramedics permission to pronounce MJ dead at 12:57. Dr. Cooper told for the transport Murray had to take over the control and be with the patient.

- When they come to the hospital Murray tells MJ wasn't ill only had trouble sleeping and dehydrated, gave him lorezapeam, witnessed the cardiac arrest. She's later asked what is "witnessing the arrest" means she says "seeing patient stop breathing".

- Dr. Cooper asks if there were any chest pain before cardiac arrest, Murray says no.

- Murray mentions Flomax and Valium.

- Dr. Cooper says MJ was DOA (no sign of life, pupils fixed and dilated, no pulse, no sign of trauma) still tried to revive him, they worked on MJ for 1 hour 26 minutes. She says she never felt or observed pulse on MJ.

- Dr. Cooper also asked Murray about recreational drug use. She says this is a common question as MJ came in with an unexplained cardiac arrest (they didn't know propofol).

- Dr. Cooper gets asked a lot of questions about propofol and it's usage (if she knows the drug, if she used it and such). Cooper says "Protocol requires certain monitoring to administer propofol. There needs to be equipment available to monitor the airway. There must be heart monitoring. There has to be a staff person available as their only job to monitor the euqipment/patient. So that the patient doesn’t die"

- Dr. Cooper is asked how much propofol she would give to someone MJ's weight (136 lb), she says she would start with 60mg. She says a dose of 25mg wouldn't last longer than 5-10 minutes and a dose wears of in 20-30 minutes.

- Cross examination Dr. Cooper is asked if she knew Murray given MJ propofol it would have made any difference in her treatment. She says no, she was treating cardiac arrest. She also adds getting drug history helps them give the relevant treatment and understand what happened.

- Walgren asks if the drugs on top of drugs were given to MJ, that would be an accumulative effect? Dr. Cooper answers yes.

- Murray was in the ER room and hands on.

Dr. Thao Nguyen

- She is a cardiologist and is called to the ER by Dr. Cooper.

- She says Murray never mentioned Propofol or benzodiazapine medications.

- Murray also tells her that MJ was getting ready for a tour, had trouble sleeping and he gave him 4 miligrams of adavan (mirazapam) via IV. She asks Murray if he tried to reverse the effect of the adavan? Murray says no. She asks if he gave any other medicines , Murray says no.

- Murray tells he doesn't have a watch and he doesn't know how long MJ was down. Murray couldn't give an estimate about when the drug was injected and how long MJ was down.

- She does the balloon pump although she thinks it wouldn't work based on everything done already. An agreement was made with Dr. Murray that if the balloon pump failed, then they would call the time of death.

^^^Because I am sure that Michael Jackson owns more than one watch. You mean, Michael had no watch in his bedroom either, hm

Someone at the hospital, I think.

Thanks!

they got to the hospital just after one. treatment lasted 1hr 20 mins approx at the hos

Thank you.

They worked on MJ 1:26 at the hospital.

According to Murray MJ died at 12:18. The nurse at the radio bay wanted to call it at 12:57, but apparently Murray didnt want to (claimed he had felt a pulse), so MJ went to the hospital.

Yes, so both Murray at the house and then someone at the hospital (1:22) claimed they could feel a pulse but the EMTs and Dr Cooper couldnt feel any pulse.

They worked on MJ for 1:26 until it was called at 02:26.

What do you mean by this? What happened at 1:26?

sorry, but I bed to disagree. This is worst. Back then the fight was to get Michael free of those those charges so that he could return to his normal life again. The reason for fighting was Michael himself.

Now that reason is no more :(

And that.... that's the worst part of this all. No matter how hard the charges might be, the worst has been done and can't be changed. In 2005 there was hope... now... I am afraid there is none.

All that said, I DO WANT THIS MAN TO GO TO JAIL AND BE FORBIDEN TO EVER WORK AS A DOCTOR AGAIN!!!!!

Question: Didn't Murray say that Michael requested the propofol or something of the sort as if they had an exchange about Michael not sleeping? If so, then when would this have happened with all the phone calls?

My point exactly. If we go by what he supposedly said (watched 10 minutes, then went to the bathroom for less than 2 minutes)...you get to 11:50 a.m....but the phone records show he was on the phone the whole time from 11:18 am on. So it woudl have been something like this:

Murray: *on the phone* Yeah...yeah....blah blah blah...oh yeah...hahahaha....yeah....blah blah blah....yeah....

MJ: *wakes up* Dr. Murray....

Murray: *still on the phone* Oh...hold on...my patient is awake....*to MJ* Yes, Michael?

MJ: I can't sleep....give me Propofol

Murray: *holding the cell phone while talking to MJ* Uhm....no...are you sure...you shouldn't....

MJ: I can't sleep...really...give it to me...I want it....I won't discuss it...give it to me....

Murray: Well, okay then....*gets syringe and vial....injects Propofol....*

Murray: Okay....back...sorry...had to give my patient something to get him to sleep again....Yeah, so as I was saying...blah blah...blah blah.....

*10 minutes goes by*

Murray: *still on the phone* Man, I gotta pee really bad.....So anyways...what were you saying...*goes to the bathroom and pees while on the phone* :puke:
*enters the room....sees MJ is not breathing* OH F**!!!!!!! I gotta go!!!!

:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

And if it was NOT like that....then WHEN did he give Michael Propofol? And WHEN did he leave MJ alone? And let's not forget he insists MJ had injected himself....while he was gone for 2 minutes. So the 2 minutes he was gone would HAVE to have been right before 12:05 am.

but if summer is right *you are* i mean that means that he could not have give mj propofol when he said he did?

when is a time when he was not on a phone then he could give mj propofol and get back to calling again..

that means at least 1 hour dead???

Yup. That's what I meant. And that would go with what the EMTs said too about when they thought MJ died.

you are totally right on your account. He is lying big HUGE time here. I just wonder what they will say to try to deny all this massive evidence against him. Really, I see no way for him to be considered "not guilty". Is he crazy or what?? Saying he is "not guilty" is just as sickeing as his saying he loves Katherine as much as his mother.

Really!!!! Disturbing!! :puke:

Yeah, there is NO WAY he will get a "not guilty" verdic. They said on CNN that this will definately go into trial if there is no plea bargain. I hope there isn't a plea bargain. I want Murray to get the whole 4 years. Even though if he was smart (which he obviously isn't, just like Chernoff neither), he'd be asking for a plea bargain right about now. All the witnesses so far have said VERY serious and bad things about him. The caseis pretty much already closed just by what the few witnesses has said now. And let's not forget there are about over 20 still to come!!! :clapping:

@ Ingelief We have to remember we don't have a timeline from the defense yet. The timeline we do have, Murray's defense team says was from the police and was not accurate. So we don't know at what time Murray will say he gave MJ propofol yet.

Doesn't really matter because with the phone records he is already pretty much doomed one way or the other.....If he says he gave it just shortly before noon...he is doomed because he will pretty much admit to being on the phone the whole time while discussing a SERIOUS decision about a SERIOUS drug with a client...and also he will admit to injecting a client with a very dangerous drug while ON THE PHONE....And if he will say he injected it earlier....it will be very difficult to believe he was monitoring MJ properly if he was on the phone the whole time and that MJ would get in such a state while he was watching him the whole time. AND....that MJ would ALL OF THE SUDDEN wake up and be alert enough to get up to get a syringe and a vial and get the drug out of the vial and inject himself...all tasks that require coordination.

MJJC Twitter:

Michelle Cooper UCLA doctor was in charge of taking care of Michael when he arrived

When Michael arrived no pulse no responce

Doctor ask murray what happened, he said he gave to Loz in morning

Breaking News - Murray says to doctor he WITNESSED Michaels cardiac arrest

Doctor at no point felt a pulse

There was confusion in room that some thought they felt a pulse (@ 1.22pm)

No signs of life and time of prenouncement of death was registered as 2.26.

I'm listening to the stream now...
Murray told Cooper that he saw MJ stop breathing

I bet it was MURRAY again who insisted he felt a pulse. I mean, he HAS to say that to make it look like MJ had not been dead for ages....

Murray saw MJ stop breathing? Really? Interesting. And instead of giving mouth to mouth...instead of calling 911...he LEAVES Michael for at least 10 minutes???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!!!! And this is a CARDIOLOGIST we are talking about!!!!!

UCLA Docs -- Michael Was DOA

Two doctors from the UCLA Medical Center testified ... Michael Jackson was dead on arrival, yet Dr. Murray told them "not to give up easily and try to save the patient."

Dr. Richelle Cooper testified when Jackson arrived at UCLA there was "no signs of life."

Dr. Cooper added Murray was not forthcoming about the drugs administered to MJ. Cooper says Murray copped to giving Michael lorezapam, but made no mention of Propofol.

And this was interesting. Cooper says MJ weighed 136 lbs.

Dr. Thao Nguyen testified Dr. Murray denied giving MIchael any sedatives or narcotcs.

if he said he witnessed mj going into CA that pretty much means mj couldnt have self injected imo as it would have happened straight away

ontop of all the other timings

But didn't Murray insist he felt a pulse? So which one is it? Was MJ in cardiac arrest or did he have a pulse? Did he witness MJ stop breathing, or did he find MJ who was already not breathing? That's the problem when one is lying....you can't keep your story straight. -_-

dr cooper said it was hard to get info from murray
murray said mj was in usual health but tired and dehydrated
murray said he gave mj lorazepam in the morning
dr cooper said that the amount of lorazepam given was not enough for a man of mjs size.
murray said he witnessed mj's arrest
murray said mj on flomax, valium prescriptions
murray did not mention propofol
no signs of life on arrival.

on cross- exam -
someone felt a pulse at 1.22, more cpr was given, dr cooper never felt the pulse herself

there's more but hard to keep up & take notes

SOMEONE felt a pulse....I bet my bottom dollar that "someoe" was Murray....

THese doctors are doing a good job. Loved Dr. Coopers "So that the patient doesn't die" comment! :clapping: Bet she was looking straight at MURRAY when she said it!

And Murray didn't have a watch...didn't know WHEN he gave the drug??? Reckless behavior alert!!! You are SUPPOSED to document when you give it or at least KNOW and LOOK AT A CLOCK ad notice the time!!! DUMBASS!!!

Thanks, thats what I meant.

About the person in the hospital feeling a pulse: that seems to happen sometimes, that you think you feel a pulse that is not there:

“This is a nurse scribe note.” (about the feeling of a pulse)

I don’t know who reported the pulse.
I was never able to confirm a pulse. Sometimes, people feel a pulse that isn’t there.

I don't understand how of all the doctors Michael ended up with this person who I even refuse to call a doctor :( how can life be so unfair??

Who was it again that was on their way to MJ's home for the daily lunch meeting?

I would like to hear the reaction from all the idiots (some of his other patients) that stood up for Murray days after MJ died, claiming he was such a nice and good doctor.
I bet they feel like they won the Lotto now, after hearing how great he really was....

you are so right, JMie.
So right

Who was it again that was on their way to MJ's home for the daily lunch meeting?

Ive heard it was Travis Payne.

So this should also be brought up in the trial.. why would MJ ask for propofol and being put under at that time of the day if Travis was on his way? He also didnt had breakfast and did not get his juice as he usually did.

I don't understand how of all the doctors Michael ended up with this person who I even refuse to call a doctor :( how can life be so unfair??

That is what someone said to me at work today. Michael could have had the best doctors and he ends with this guy? I don't understand it.

I don't understand how of all the doctors Michael ended up with this person who I even refuse to call a doctor :( how can life be so unfair??

And this is the guy that was supposed to be compensated *how much* for his 'services'?

I mean, the hoax forum speculated once that Murray is an actor. I'm starting to think that because every first semester student seems to have more knowledge than that guy.

I'm seriously gripping my head how somebody with that lack of, shall we say-knowledge of time and date and address- knows how to acquire the license to practice in SEVERAL states. Amazing.

From what I understand summer - Murray said he felt a pulse while he and the EMTs were dealing with Michael at the house.

Someone (not sure who) felt there was a pulse when he was in the hospital.
