It's the hardest thing I'll ever have to do
To look you in the eye
And tell you I don't love you
It's the hardest thing I'll ever have to lie
To show no emotion when you start to cry .

I posted this in the news thread, but I'm gonna post it here as well :p

This isn't news or MJ-related, but I wanted to share something with you all :)

Today, it is March 1st. Over here, the first day of spring is a big celebration, a celebration of love and renewal.

The custom is that we share our love by offering each other small amulets of cute, nice, beautiful figures, amulets that can be anything from small puppets to silver or gold medallions. (such an amulet is called a Martisor) But they all have something in common: a small ribbon tied to them, a ribbon made out of 2 knitted threads: a white one and a red one. The white one is a symbol of purity and peace, while the read one represents love

Such amulets are given by men/boys to ladies (those who don't do it are considered to lack manners, lol) or by ladies between to each other. Men/boys also give small bouquets of snowdrops, that are the first flowers to appear in spring.

I know that other countries don't celebrate this day, but I find it a nice custom and I wanted to share it with the board as well :) So, happy March 1st , everyone!!! :D
