Maximum 2 weeks I would say. - Then all the hype from the commercial is gone.

LMAO! Not only did I not know, I didn't care, either. Once I find something that works for me, I rarely stray from the brand. To be truthful, I wasn't even aware Sony made smartphones. . . :lmao:

I didn't know they made smartphones either. My first phone was a T-mobile way back when and I just stuck to it. The good thing is Michael is connected to some new technology from a big company.
 
It was just some random person posting on the video, that said that. But it doesn't seem far fetched that the song will be offered on Xperia as part of the partnership and album campaign.
 
i agree with everyone here, i believe the full song will be included as a pre lude to the album's release.. i would hope that the new album is announced sometime before March 15th.. Michael needs to get back on the musical map..

Even though i'm using Samsung, i don't think the Xperia is bad at all. The camera is even better (20 mp i believe), it's just that it's not as popular, but it may get in the future. Sony products are usually quality (and quite expensive too).
 
The phone captures 4K video, and is water proof meaning, you can submerge the phone and still use it. (being that the phones ports are closed)

I'm getting it.

Im an iphone nerd, so im sticking with my 5s :D , though.
I have to say that the more i listen to the song, the more i like it.

Iphone sure is the best phone out there.

I an so happy with my 5S. Great pictures, great sound, great design - everything is great actually.

Who knows when there will be a announcement. One thing I think is safe to say is this song is going to be everywhere. The potential of the song is huge. It arguably the best unreleased song we've heard. Kind of the Holy grail of leaks. It will be nice to sit back and watch. To say its been a painful ride since MJ passed is a understatement. With all the trails and turning his life upside down its crazy. In the end after everything, he's still the best, he's the king no doubt. Even the haters will be turning cheek. Enjoy!

I sure hope the song will do well on the charts!! - Would be amazing with another #1 hit !!!

I soo hope the album will go to the top spot! - Another #1 album would be a dream come true!!
 
If given the proper mix, Slave to the Rhythm has arguably the best chance at being a number one hit single. Of course personally I think the Estate should focus on doing right with the music over charts, but hey. You can't say that you wouldn't love to see Michael Jackson hit number one one more time :)
 
MJ's last #1 was in the 90's

its been about 15 years since a song went #1 on Billboard
Its been 13 years since MJ had a #1 studio album
I hope all of that will change

I'll be honest with you guys, I haven't really seen any of this 'hype' you guys are talking about... outside of MJ's fans anyway where there's of course gonna be hype (it'd help a lot more if they actually put the ad on TV...), but regardless I don't think it's long until the song is released!

Can't wait to download it off iTunes :D

I do too and that says a lot coming from me, because I usually view posthumous releases as something cheaply thrown together with an emphasis on making money more than making art.

Premiere the song on mj.com is most stupidest thing they can do. Why stream it for free? They should release it directly to itunes and amazon. They made that mistake with Hold My Hand and MICHAEL album. That way people go to mj.com, listen the song for free and don't buy it.

Beyonce did something unique - that can not be repeated...


MJ could not release the album with no promotion or any statements or anything. - Hype needs to be built up.

I think no one can or should try to do as Beyonce did.
 
Putting it up on MJ.com is stupid - putting it up on Youtube is 100 times better.

Can just put the YT link on the MJ.com page of course.
 
I think putting snippets of Slave on youtube leading up to the announcement would be a good idea.
Even going to the extreme of adverts on TV will spilt seconds of just the song (especially on MTV and other music channels) or even inbetween the transition of songs played on there.

The estate should not hold back on spending the money to promote the new album. This could be the most important pieces of material released from Michael (estate) since 2001
