I was surprised to hear that from Katherine too. But I guess it would be difficult to view your own son's dead body lying in a coffin. Still, part of me can't really understand her not wanting to see him one last time.
My thoughts on this hoax thing...the reasonable, logical part of me thinks he's gone but there's another part of me that thinks some things are really strange and even illogical (that's the part that keeps me coming back to this thread). And like I said, it's intriguing.

^^ haha..i've been ignoring the thread too, just amused by people's reactions...It's funny how they can sling negativity about the hoax, but do you see any of us going to the other parts of the forum, trying to sell our beliefs to the non-believers? I think we've all been pretty respectful and discreet about the whole thing....I hope they start to realize they need to show some respect too...

Well hoax (and even conspiracy) is a very sensitive topic (to some people) and that's why we had this seperate section. I wouldn't take that thread personally as the complaint is about "youtube", not this board, not this thread or not anyone here..
and in youtube sometimes related videos gives you the things you really do not want to see. it might be hoax, it might be a reanactment, it might be 911 call etc etc.. There are somethings we do not want to see and youtube doesn't filter it, and that's the whole issue IMO.

She says that she never looked at him after he passed because she wanted to remember him smiling, laughing and having a good time the last time she saw him.

there's no evidence to support Dateline's source on the 1993 accuser's statement, or, why his father died. There's a reason why Dateline never names their sources. I never liked Dateline! They always ask stupid questions and have stupid narration when it comes to MJ! And Jordan Chandler in the past when he was younger said nothing ever happened from the beginning, until his father got full custody and made him say different!
So I don't know what that dumb a$$ host was talking about! As for the alleged internet rumor of him admitting it's a lie, no one from the Chandler family has ever come forward on television and say that Jordan confession isn't the truth! Not even the media whore of his uncle Ray Chandler so...I wouldn't dismiss that so quickly!

i noticed that too,after watching this,that when ketherine mentioned evan chandler,they quickly made a statement saying none of this is fact,yet when michael was falsly accused no such statement was made,

Any large cemetary has areas where bodies/caskets can be kept until final arrangements are made. Now this isn't going to sound so good for those with delicate/squeamish mindsets, or those not familiar with other ethnic practices, but there are cold/refrigerated areas where bodies can be kept, either embalmed or not. I do recognize from experience that many cultures do have a timeline for burial, but many others do not.
There was discussion/mention that Michael's casket was kept in someone else's private crypt on the cemetary grounds until the funeral, can't recall without going way back to re-read it, but it was mentioned, and not totally outside the realm of possibility. And there are always refrigerated units to hold remains until final disposition in many larger cemetaries. To be more blunt, there are "holding" areas within funeral/mortuary/cemetary buildings to maintain and secure the bodies of the deceased, be them embalmed or not.
As far as actually viewing the remains, from personal experience, this is entirely left up to each individual family/loved one's wishes or beliefs. My father died when I was 13 yrs old. At the funeral home for his viewing, I never went up to the casket and viewed my father, I sat at the back of the room during the service, and still have no remorse for not viewing him up close and personal, so I can totally relate to whether or not Katherine and other family members chose to not view the body. It really is up to each person and how they choose or can "handle" the scenario. For me, because Katherine chose to not view Michael at any point after his death is neither indicative nor proof of anything other than personal reasons. jmo irregardless of hoax theory or not.

just reporting what hoax forums are abuzz with. seems that at a chat, Maura -and some other hoax video makers- were shown a short video of Michael reading aloud a document, but vid had no sound. in TII pony tail, sweat pants, with reading glasses. looked healthy but sad. with a digital clock behind him, which stated the date - current - yesterday or maybe the other day.
the informer is some guy called Hanover, and there was another one, "thedoctorsaid," who they think might be Michael. andromeda was also there, according to the discussion at the forum.

how come nobody ever considers the state of the media? you think they would change, if MJ were here again?
i mean....before these ideas about a hoax, somebody should consider the idea that MJ being brought back to a media that i am sure, would never change, seems like a hopeless idea. would anybody really subject themselves to being re crucified, by the media, that way, again? in my view, if the media kills you the first time, they'd do it again. even if a person could come back from the dead. there is no indication that anything could ever change the media.
i'd like to see how people would change the media, before considering a hoax theory. i mean, i think it would be cruel to bring him back to all this...
