Thanks to Netflix and Hulu, that's pretty much how I see movies now. Last movie: 2016 Obama's America (documentary). Last tv show: Duck Dynasty.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

...and I loved it, and I cannot wait for the next one. Cumberbatch's voice was topnotch...soo good. I thought the casting overall was really good. I love escaping into Middle Earth...visually so rich.

TV show: I don't have a TV hooked up to receive shows, but I watch lots of things on YouTube. Probably Letterman interviewing Evangeline Lilly, because after seeing the flick I was curious about her. I liked her better in that role than I anticipated. For an "added in" character which departs from the book, this worked well, I must admit. Peter Jackson has this down. He truly can be trusted with Tolkien.

I had a double header yesterday movie-wise. I saw Thor, the Dark World and Man of Steel. (Marvel/Detective Comics, respectively...wanted to be fair ;) )
