Well regardless I am not suprised on the fact that you can't convict someone when the alleged victim won't testify and claims it is not her on the video. Plain and simple. No matter what the truth is based on that alone I would not convict a man on that. It has nothing to do with opinion or if you like someone or not.

But I agree Bee when you see what happened to Michael. His went on for months. This trial took 6 years to go to trial and was over so quick. I mean to take 6 years to go to trial was enough to know that you could not get a conviction. They just went with what they had. You had a bunch of people saying one thing and a bunch of others saying another. Yes it was her on the tape, no it wasn't her on the tape.

No person should be convicted on all that garbage that went on.

Absolutely. The letter of the law was followed. Reasonable doubt was cast when people disagreed on who the girl was and when the girl herself said it wasn't her. Aslo the prosecution witness were not prestine either.

very true at the end of the day the D.A got what they deserved. runing with a case because of who it was and having it drag out for so many years was a joke
 
the amount of albums he brings out even he if had been locked up i dont think it would have stopped him lol

Not that I wished for Kelly to be found guilty I do have a worry though.. And it's regarding Michael..


Though I read the court transcripts and KNOW Michael is innocent.. That tape of Kelly (innocent or not) has many people thinking he's REALLY guilty.. Now him found not guilty will further peoples opinions on that MONEY and FAME will buy you out of jail..


This in no way is saying Kelly deservs to be in jail.. Or should have been found guilty..
 
I must say I'm surprised. But I really have no time or energy to be bitter about it. However I must admit that his jumpy defense was what made me think the jury was going to send him up the creek. At any rate, I hope R. Kelly has learned his lesson.

i have never been so damn disgusted w/ a jury in my damn life....it was him on the tape yet this or that or whatever....the holdouts should not have allowed themselves to compromise and return a verdict of not guilty.

what an abuse of their job....
 
It's cool R.Kelly's partying I hear...but god will take care of him...he thinks he got off..he's a very sick man...who will do it again if he's not already doing it...one day he's gonna molest another young girl and her dad might do something about it......that girl and her family are just plain disguisting

Funny how fans always compare everything to MJs situation even though they have nothing in common. You do realize that MJs situation is completly different to R.Kelly's right? Just because MJ is innocent doesnt mean everyone else in the music world who goes to trial on sex charges is innocent. Im basing my judgment on facts (not rumours or media hearsays) and my feeling is that he did it and should be jailed.

Some people need to move on what happened to MJ 3 years ago. I know he would like too.

Plus remember, R.Kelly was found guilty of plagerising You Are Not Alone. This man is far from innocence!

whatever. he was found not guilty which is good for him.

so there's nothing in his way bringing out his new album in a few months as he planned to and go on tour.

the alleged girl in the vid says its not her, he himself says its not him, all family member deny everything because it's so embarassing. i'm glad that the trial is over so quickly and people can move on.

But I did not fallow the case, I did not read any court transcripts (if so VERY little).. So untill I know the FACTS and detales I will not put my judgement..

Those who can say Kelly is guilty without knowing ALL the facts are just as bad as the haters who said Michael was guilty..

WE KNEW Michael was innocent because of how deep we were into it.. How much we STUDIED the facts.. If you did not study the facts to that level, don't be so fast to judge..

Tape or no tape.. I can make a tape with Kelly's face on it if I wanted to.. It's basic digital transitioning..

If YOU can take a simple picture and send it into SONY and they put your face on the THRILLER video in the matter of minutes.. Just imagine what someone could do with video footage, from all angels, all lightings, etc..

Looks pretty good, and it was made in the early 90's.. digital effects have improved so much since then.. If they can do that in the early 90's, imagine whats possible today.

Have you seen BoW? This was done after MJ showed the world morphing. Plus also in the BoW short film, the racist comments on the glass where removed (but later put back in for Dangerous DVD) and on the I'll Be There commercial, the Pepsi bottle is removed.


At any rate, Im not basing my opinions on a video that I havent seen but on whats come out in court! Of course the 13 year girl and her family is going to be embarressed and not want to appear even though she should have. Kelly is a sick *ahem* and a thief. What waste of time and money. And yet MJ gets more negativity over something he didnt do and they have proof of Kellys guilt and he still walks away. No justice in this world.

That is the one thing that bothers me.. that it certainly looks like Kelly did it and then people lump his trial and Michael's together as both having gotten off because they have money or because they are celebs.
 
I don't know much about what R.Kelly's teams defence evidence was during this trial. And I'm sure a grainy video isn't the best evidence for the prosecution to get a conviction. But I am surprised that R.Kelly has been vindicated by a jury, as I thought his defence was pathetic.

There is no comparison between Michael's trial and R.Kelly, as all Michael's trial proved is that he was innocent and stitched up by a twisted mother who used her sons cancer as a way to make money, and bigoted DA who has a vendetta against Michael. R.Kelly's trial didn't prove he was a child video pornographer, and it didn't prove he wasn't one. Therefore he's walked away from the trial like OJ Simpson not Michael Jackson, because the evidence is there but it hasn't been fully proved either way.

I still won't say I think R.Kelly is guilty as I've never had the misfortune of see the video, and the trial wasn't heavily reported here in the UK. But PR wise I think Michael should stay far away from R.Kelly so people won't make comparisons between them, which is something Michael doesn't need.

Didn't R.Kelly recently lose a case over the Michael Jackson song, for plagiarizing You Are Not Alone from two guys.

I don't think MJ should stay away from R Kelly. MJ was an innocent man and the entire world knew it. R kelly was on the tape. it was obviously him. What he did was nasty, no matter who the woman was. The case was stupid. If they are trying someone they need to have a victim. They had none. That is why the case faltered. You cant be accusing someone of being a victim when that someone said they weren't. If we go down that roaqd then anybody could be accused of molesting any child because the court or the da said so. The woman, who is now grwn said she wasn't a victim. In fact this trial has done more harm to this young lady that anything R Kelly had done. The video is broadcast across the entire world and everybody knows who she is. That is very devastating to her and her family. That damage far more outway anything R Kelly did to her in my opnion.
 
All I'll say is that I am not happy with the verdict, and according to the jurors, the video they were played was as "clear as day".

Even though jurors in the trial of R. Kelly absolutely believed it was him on the tape, they could not reach a guilty verdict because they said there was "not enough evidence to prosecute." Huh?!

Five of the twelve jurors met with reporters immediately after handing down the acquittal. They said they just couldn't reach a verdict even though they voted on the hour, every hour because the alleged victim hadn't testified and refused to cooperate. As recently as this morning, we're told, the vote was split nine to three for a not guilty verdict.

The jurors were also "absolutely disgusted" with the tape. Unlike the bootleg version you can buy on the street corner, the version they got to watch was "clear as day." Ew.

We're hearing R. Kelly will be partying it up tonight in Chicago.

lol everyone knows his sexual tastes and that it's him on the tape - the loyal excuses and blissful denials started rolling since 2002. the "people's court" speaks volumes though, and he'll continue getting whatever success he can from his adult fans.
 
R Kelly should not be psartying. He needs to take his sorry ass some place else and relfect on his life and how he has been treaing his black women. He is a disgrace.
I think this is a wake up call to the people who subscribe to people like RKelly and the vulgar lyrics they have been dancing to. The songs that they allow the very young to sing. The lack or moral values in the communilty.
I think t is difficult for governments to legislate for morallity. esp if the people they are legistating for do not want to adhere. Also there need to be a clearcut debate about what age a child can be responsible for their sexual activities. That is too confusing, Some things need to change. Children are far more sexual now and old laws cannot cater for thir activities.

I wasn't comparing the two situations at all.

I was saying that before you pass judgment on someone who has been found innocent in a court of law should cast their minds back and remember all the ignorance from MJ haters saying 'He is still guilty' bla bla..

So don't rant at me about how I am bringing up Michael's trial, I did nothing of the sort so leave it alone.

Michael went through hell because he is an international superstar that the whole world are facinated with, and the media capitalised on it. This lowlfe only mangaed to russle up a handful of chav supporters and there was more booing than supprting. The media are there to do business. There was no money to be made from R Kelly's trial because the world was not interested in him.
Take comfort in that. It may seem unfair but it still is a measure of how famous MJ is, I take comfort in that.
One of the worst thing that comes out of this trial for R Kelly, is that he wasn't as big as he though he was. There was no large crowd to support him.
