Basically, in this case, it would be the quality and the fact that the last "leak" had the wrong tracks on it (taken from the first sony press release).

but if ppl start to get bootleg copies, then nobody will go to the store or itunes and buy it, which means michael will sell ALOT less copies, and ppl will consider it a failure, like they did with invincible (even though it sold tons of records, think how many more it wouldve sold if there were no bootlegs!)

Firstly MJs people are already aware of this.

Secondly some folks complain when we don't announce or speak about such things when they happen.... why are we getting bitten or snapped at for sharing this with the members?



So yes just to clarify the retail version of Thriller 25 has been leaked. -_-

The version from Dec was a web rip. You'll notice the sound quality difference when you compare any downloaded version vs your CD copy. :yes:

Plus the tracks on the Dec "leaked" version are not the tracks on the official T25.:yes:

Don't worry, I'm buying it too :) I just can't wait another 8 days to hear it in supurb quality.

some people still don't get it


any previous leak was a silly FAKE

they all had the remixes in poor streaming-quality (64kbit/s) plus the old version of FAT (which is NOT on T25) plus songs taken from the SE that are also NOT on T25 on all


the quality of this leak (which is the first and only leak) is superb, any previous so-called leak was a silly FAKE



and to anyone, PLEASE BUY THE ORIGINAL CD IN STORE, don't support piracy ;)

EVERY CD release by Epic/Sony of a MJ album/single has had perfect quality since 1995
the rare "Signature Series" was actually the first CD ever by MJ to feature digitally remastered versions,
and as every Epic/Sony CD-release (not J5/TJ) since HIStory has been digitally mastered, there's no need to remaster them. their sound is already perfect

for further understanding you should first know, what digitally remastering actually is and when there's need to apply it at all,
the music industry knows that people who are common to such techniques would buy sth when it's marketed as "digitally remastered" although it has always been digitally mastered - thus having NO difference in sound quality at all)


but as not every fan has the SE's or HIStory, they probably won't know that the songs have already been remastered for ages.

i find thatb ard to believe. your telling me there has been no breakthroughs for 13 years and quality of music back then is as good as now? im a new fan and dont have hstory yet so i cant check.

I'm just telling you the truth.


Michael was the first artist to have his old classics digitally remastered.
And this was already done in 1995!


Just buy HIStory and listen to CD 1. The sound is perfect and exactly the same as the SE's and Thriller 25, too.

i found the leaked Thriller 25th and the quality are perfect,
but i also order the original and waiting for the perfect packagings.

i order all 4 editions of Thriller 25th (Original,Zombie,Deluxe,Japan).
at very low prices 22$, 22$, 29$ and 39$ with postage cost delivered.

Questions..

I would really like to have the Japanese version. BUT!

1) Would it have the booklet in english?? no right?
2) It would not help his U.S. sales if I buy it from Japan, or is there a way?
3) the DVD would probably not be No-region, meaning we can't use it here. or is it?

the booklet probably in Japan but i am not sure
not counts on America and Europe charts...

but sure the DVD are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East),
and carry no subtitles

Are people really suprised, tracks are always leaked, Im suprised it lasted this long before they were leaked in CD quality, People that were going to buy the album will still buy the album.

Because TGIM is a European and Canadian release, so we just don't have it. WBSS is digital only so far. (As in no physical single anywhere). :)

His voice is a BIT deeper than I expected coming from Thriller outake. The tone kinda sounds like a mixture of Thriller and dangerous, but with the thriller styling to the singing..

I would like to own this song.. But I want te U.S. version of the album to help U.S. sales, have enlish packaging, and DVD be compatible for my DVD player.

I think the song could have made the album IF it would have changed the instramentals a little less poppish sound. you can tell the instramentals are demo quality. BUT The melody of the vocals and lyrics are brilliant..

U know how on carousel his voice dips a little lower through several parts of the sentances..?? (somewhat simular tone as 'rock with you') Well his voice is in that tone register through majority of the lead vocal sections.

OK picture 'Rock with you' voice but in a faster pace song.. so less breath in the voice, and faster hits, and harder expressions..

The song does not sound like Rock with you, but he's in that vocal register.
