Sure. I am actually not worried. I was just messin'. I have For All Time from the BBC station but I will definately buy the cd even though it won't be the pricey one with all the photos 'cause money's tight. I also already did my very first i-tunes purchase a few days ago by buying WBSS 08 even though you can hear it on Michaels myspace and I will also get it on the album.
 
the remastered versions sounds good! friday i'll absolutely buy it, even if i don't like the new mixes so much!
 
There isn't anything new on Thriller25 apart from the stupid remixes. It's not like a real new Michael Jackson album full of newly recorded songs has been leaked, because the reality is Thriller25 is the second official re-release of Thriller.

No.

They have been remastered in 1995 (5 tracks from Thriller for HIStory disc 1) and 2001 (the remaining 4 for the SE, although they probably have also been remastered in 1995 but not released).


So, they definitely have not been remastered again. ;)

(they have the sound quality as in 2001 or even 1995 which is just perfect)

Haha you guys should stop looking for it and simply pre-order it from Japan I mean at least buy the god damn cd *giggles* it's NOT that expensive;)

How many times do you need to remaster something. Thriller tracks were remastered for HIStory, then for T: SE and now T25? What changed from the remastering done for HIStory or T: SE?

Actually NO IT WASNT. That version of "T25" had 'Someone In The Dark' and 'Carousel' on it which T25 does not. Plus the audio wasnt in CD quality and 'For All Time' was the demo version not the rerecorded version.

I hate it when cds are leaked. At least I hope that MJ fans will buy it even if they have already downloaded it. I've already pre-ordered mine :)
 
i think remastering of 95 and 08 will be very differenet, major imporovements. but from 01version i couldnt imagine a major difference

nope, they have exactly the same quality

(HIStory disc 1 has the same audio quality as the SE's do have
and the SE's have the same audio quality as Thriler 25 does have

EVERY CD release by Epic/Sony of a MJ album/single has had perfect quality since 1995
the rare "Signature Series" was actually the first CD ever by MJ to feature digitally remastered versions,
and as every Epic/Sony CD-release (not J5/TJ) since HIStory has been digitally mastered, there's no need to remaster them. their sound is already perfect

for further understanding you should first know, what digitally remastering actually is and when there's need to apply it at all,
the music industry knows that people who are not that common to such techniques would buy sth when it's marketed as "digitally remastered" although it has always been digitally mastered - thus having NO difference in sound quality at all)


but as not every fan has the SE's or HIStory, they probably won't know that the songs have already been remastered for ages.

^^ Again no it hasnt. Check back and you'll see that the leaks on the net in Dec was not the real T25. It had tracks that shouldnt be on there and tracks that werent on there!!
 
I hope Got The Hots is leaked. I don't think it's fair that I have to import it from Japan to get it. If I buy Thriller 25 and download Got The Hots, that's fair, right?

NOT in CD quality ;)

don't look at the high bitrates of 192 or 320kbit/s (somebody simply converted them from 64kbit/s to higher bitrates, thus remaining of poor quality, because you cannot improve a file in its bitrate), listen to them, the sound quality of those leaks was horrible

Plus the FAKES did not have the real "For All Time" version which is an exclusive release for T25
(the radio rip of the song was NOT in CD quality and was shorter)



and by the way, buy the album and don't search for a DL-link

Well whoever did it is an azzhole and deserves his head cut-off if was sum1 else i wudnt care lol but not michael hahaha im so mean lol..but seriously aslong as we all buy it. i mean they may have the tracks but not the booklet or the shiny holographic cover lol. so it will sell

"For All Time" has not been leaked back then, the first time we've come to hear the never-before-heard version was on the BBC Radio 2 Ken Bruce show in January and that was also shortened and in low (radio) quality.

i know it was 1st played bout 3 week ago and not in december.
i was just stating the songs we heard (the remixes) were the actual songs just really poo quality. but nothing on the cd leak that we havent really heard.
 
ugh, that sucks!!! I think downloading released albums and leaking unreleased albums should be taken WAY more seriously!!!! Just think how many ppl are gonna buy bootleg thriller25 cd's, and not even think about purchasing it! I think it's disgusting. It's stealing, and ppl work too hard for their work to be stolen and given away for free! Some of this 'new technology' is making things worse, not better by any means.
 
by the way, an album by a major artist like MJ is always leaked at least one or two weeks before its official release.

SonyBMG really did a very good job, because:

- the album was not leaked by someone from the studio
- the album was not leaked by someone from the label
- the album was not leaked by someone from the plant


BUT it is most likely that someone who works at a warehouse illegaly borrowed the CD, ripped it and put it online
(it also could be someone from the press, because the most crooked persons can be found there)

Thriller 25 does sound damn good though! Is it me or is there alot more panning to the L & R channels here?????? Another Thriller to add to the collection, another question for anyone, was thriller re-mastered for the Millenium Limited Edition version or whatever it was called?

What is the difference of the album being leaked.. And simply making an album from downloading each song and putting them together??

I mean we all have heard and have access to the songs
