Michael's name is mentioned at least 3 times in the news every single day. I don't think that there are many others who can say that.
The Guardian. It's that british newspaper that sometimes write bad things about MJ.Thanks for the news.
What is the link?
Neither Elvis nor Frank were EVER as celebrated as MJ, but the media would never say that.Michael's name is mentioned at least 3 times in the news every single day. I don't think that there are many others who can say that.
but the only postwar entertainers who could legitimately claim to equal Jackson's celebrity effect - Sinatra, Presley - are dead. Of pop's living deities, probably only a handful come close, among them Michael's younger sister, Janet.
I don't think they are saying that at all. They said the ONLY 2 that equal him are dead.I agree on this piece but not about Janet. I certainly don't agree that Janet has the same celebrity effect as Michael or Sinatra or Presley. She is up there but not that high. Strange even for the Guardian to say she does.

Well, excuse me. I thought I was being helpful. Actually, I posted the link in my new thread.Alright - I know that the Guardian is a newspaper and I know that they trashed MJ. However, I asked "what is the link"? Now, if there is no link, just say so. LOL. That is all.
BTW, I doubt that Janet is at the same level as MJ. Janet is like at the Mariah Carey status.
While Arnell is cagey about future plans, he does offer this hint: "All you need to do is think Disney."
About the SoBe campaign...
Oh I can not wait to see this!! Should be interesting. lol
Thanks to all for the news updates and tidbits. :flowers:
International Herald Tribune article said:...
Sony BMG resorted to the campaign in part because it faced some major hurdles to a traditional approach, beginning with the reclusive and tarnished pop star himself and his distaste for publicity and public performances.
...
^ don't think thats true at all. Cancels happen for a variety of reasons, doesnt mean he dislikes that thing. The ony think we know really for sure that he's hesitant about is tours and interviews...both with good reason.EC: Unfortunately, history of Jackson's personal participation in promotion proved that he did not agree on or canceled too many shows, performances and award ceremonies in the past even when concerned to promotion of his new albums.
According to Michael (and it is evident from his history) he really dislikes whatever publicity, any kind of it:
1) better no interviews;
2) better no tours;
3) better no appearances
4) better no performances.
However, we can hope that if Jackson will release new album, then management will somehow persuade him to do at least certain items of those four above.
Dats, you are good at finding them!
Tell me.....how do you post YouTube videos here? Cause I found a song over there called Let Me Go which is supposed to be on Michael's upcoming album. I swear, it sounds just like Michael. And it is good too. Have you seen it? Go over there and look it up and listen to it.
I spend a lot of time listening to other artists appreciating MJ. It gives me so much pleasure.Dats, you are good at finding them!
