yeah i agree he needs to do new things................any releases from past eras need to be concerts........hopefully!!!!!!
 
For me, the long version 'Bad' video story was entertaining. Than when the music starts, it gets pretty cheesy from than on (the sound effects). So I don't really care for it. But it made up for Captain EO LOL.

Yuck, don't mention Justin. lol He is influenced by someone other than MJ every time you ask him, please. But Of the Wall is THE MJ album! I remember in the Number Ones special, Raphael Saddiq spoke about how much it impacted his music and was his favorite album (ever).

It doesn't matter. Pink Floyd did a 25th Anniversary for both Wish You Were Here and Dark Side Of The Moon. So have other artists. In fact, I would be surprised if Michael didn't rerelease a 25th anniversary of Bad.

But I agree with the first poster, Thriller 25 was a major disappointment since Michael didn't throw unreleased songs on there (one unreleased song and a Dangerous outtake, that's not very impressive.) I really hope that Bad 25 will be better, in terms of unreleased gems.

You gotta be kidding mate. SIM may be a personal favourite of yours, but almost any song on BAD is way better :yes:. But then again, I never liked SIM ... :ph34r:
 
Thriller 25 is just a smart promotional tool to get his music out to a younger generation before he officaily announces his new album...

BAD 25 would be cool.. Any anniversary album of MJ's will be great to me. But I have always said that I wish they would release each MJ tour with the CD that it goes with as a bundle set..

for me the synths were the worst thing about the 80's lol.80's synths & 80's hair have not dated well at all :lol: but i love the bad album & mj "the most from the 80's"

i would just be curious to hear it without them or without most of them.new intstruments mixed into the tracks for an alternative version.

bad 25 boxset
disc 1-the original album plus unreleased tracks
disc 2-bad stripped down plus remixes
dvd 1-bad 88 live from wembley.
dvd 2-the music videos from the album plus making of.

of course this will never happen because its too much wishful thinking & i would love it so it certainly wont be released lol.
 
Bad is one of my fave albums :)

It would be cool for him to release a boxset of the whole Bad Tour!!!

But I'd prefer to see an all new album. :)
 
people people - it was at one point, said that mj was gonna remaster bad with bonus tracks again. - he originally wanted all 30+ songs on the album and was gonna re-issue it with most of those songs

so this is how i feel bad 25 should be - or bad "The Version Michael Jackson Wanted in 87"

cd one - 11 original tracks (Uncut Versions ie smooth criminal / ijcsly) / street walker / fly away (Uncut) / Cheater / Todo mi amor eres tu / and french version of ijcsly

cd two - 14 Unreleased Songs / 2 new remixes

dvd - bad world tour / music videos and other highlights ie pepsi ads for bad / interviews
 
so we're gonna forget about and leave off the wall alone? :(

too bad it's already past....*sigh*

though i don't see BAd 25 happening at all. this project is just a springboard for the new era. YAY
