hello!

ever since michael died i have had such a hard time, like i know all of us had. i havent found a way to let all my emotions out, but since i started to reading the poems around here i got inspired by that. i am not a good writer, but i found the way of putting your emotions on paper really helpful. i would like to thank all fans here who has written such beautiful poems, they really helped me with dealing with michaels death. i just thought i would share a poem i wrote, the first i have ever published. i feel that this really is a way of remembering michael and to show him my love, so i hope i put this in the right section.

'we have never met'

we have never met
though I feel I know you
we are complete strangers
though I feel you are my friend
we have never spoken
though I know what you'd say
I've never looked into your eyes
knowing that you are looking into mine
our paths have never crossed
but now I know you are walking next to me
we are far apart
but yet so near
we have never met
and we never will
but still our souls connect
and i know that one day
we will be together

aww thank you guys, its nice to know that many can identify with this poem. i know that many of us feel sad that we never got to meet him and its something that will haunt me for the rest of my life. that day in heaven when i will meet him will be a day of joy. until then we have to remember that michael is with us all the time, that is a big comfort, at least for me.
 
That was very beautiful and i think it conveys
the feelings of many fans _ who never met Michael
personally - but yet we have met him spiritually
through all his music performances speeches and candid
moments we have of him on film _ we connected with his
spirit _ and we are one with each other and Michael :wub:

Immediately I thought of the unique bond we share on the forum and of course Michael's bond with all of us.

yeah i think the bond with both fans and michael is really special and i think the bond between fan-artist is alot stronger here than it is with other types of fans. the atmosphere here is just great and i really feel the connection with all of you and michael.

thank you so much again, it mean so much that someone likes my poems, it keeps me writing down my emotions. i love you all!

Jenny this is so beautiful you have managed to capture how we all feel. You have done a wonderful job. Keep writing you are very good at it because you write with your heart.
