The Grammys will be a week from tommorrow. It is more like a matter of days. :)

I do like that they said they have ALOT OF RESPECT FOR HIM.. that speaks volume to me for the Grammy people to say that....especially on record..

I also liked the fact that they said he is an historical figure, which he is.:D

I dont think MJ will sing during Super Bowl. Sorry but I dont think so!

I think hes waiting for the grammys. Which is good.

Michael ain't doing the Superbowl. There is an ad that will have his music or image used but he won't be in it as Akon said.

Sometimes stuff isn't announced until a day or two before, patience is a virtue.

yes but thats just too big to be announced only 1-2 days before
im guessing that if he was performing or even attending he'd want his fans to be there for support so he'd have to announce it at least 10 days before the event

I think he wont be announced. If he performs it'll be a surprise. I think Michael will prefer it that way. Imagine the reaction when out of the blue Michael busts out stage and the drum beat from Billie Jean starts up. Imagine the reaction after the event when every talk show and every entertainment news show is raving about it. There would be no better way to do it than to do it as surprise performance.

Guys I wanna let you in on something interesting regarding performances at the Grammys.

I know of someone (on another forum) who had a meeting with Sony reps regarding Thriller 25. Things were discussed however this person hadn't revealed everything they discussed in the meeting with Sony.

I was talking in this forum just before and I made a post saying "i can see a medley happening at the Grammys" and this person, who went to this meeting with a Sony rep, replied by saying "a medley was discussed".

I then went on to write "was this discussed at the meeting you had at Sony HQ?", and he quickly deleted both his own post and my post within a few seconds.

This guy knows something. It's now obvious he didn't want to give it away..

So.. will a medley actually happen?.. time will tell.

lol, that would be AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yes: I'd probably start crying! - but not before i hit 'record' on the vcr!!!!

anyway, soooo much speculation!!!!!!!! We got 7 days till we find out!

And mickyj007, I think something may be going on!!!!!!! wouldnt it suck if he didnt even show?!?! But someone is tryna keep something a secret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh, and i didnt think akon said mj would be performing at the superbowl, he just said that his prescence would be felt around that time, right?

It's just a saying "its on the cards".. meaning - it COULD happen.

At the meeting with Sony, the rep said a Medley with Jackson and those artists on the T25 album, could happen. The rep said however, that nothing has been confirmed.

There is nothing false and rumour-like about 'the possibility of a Michael Jackson medley' coming directly from a Sony Rep in new york.

is it a secret forum ?????? not open to the public?
What are YOU trying to hide ? why not give us
the forum?

If you are going to make a statement like that
you should at least back it up with a source ...
Otherwise you will be perceived as spreading
unfounded or untruthful rumours ..
