Sorry but its sad day when michael dont get recognition he deserves, however he seriously needs to promote if he wants to see this project become successful, hardly anybody knows of this release other than fans.

Maybe with the adverts now, some people will make this project move, but michael could do this in no time. If you dont want to Mike fine, however it needs it otherwise.

There was an artivle in Aus's Sunday Telegraph about Thriller a few weeks ago and a small article on it yesterday too :)

I just got mine on the way back from uni. It was $24.29 AUD at JB Hi-Fi. It was #2 in their best sellers.

It's beautiful. Just beautiful. A lot of the pictures are in the 2001 remaster or Thrller but the Thriller short film stills are amazing. I love the shiny cover and the shiny werewolf Mike inside. I like that although the front cover is not the original cover, the original cover is on the back and inside. I just love how this think is package. It's wonderful.

maybe I just miss all this stuff... What radio stations, exactly, play Michael songs? Brisbane doesn't exactly play the best music :angry:

I too, have seen several ads for Thriller25--starting from last Saturday--during/after Video Hits.
I don't listen to much radio, so I don't know about radio play.

When I went into JB's today, it was #2 in their best sellers. So promotion or not, it's still doing well. Can't wait for the ARIA charts to be released for this week. When do they come out?

I'm now off down the shops to get 2 copies of the album, can't wait!!! Lets hope this goes higher than the single did in the uk, I'm sure it will.

Got mine!! Woop woop!! Make sure people check what edition they are getting before buying. There are 2 standard editions with different covers (original and zombie) and a special deluxe edition, which will be sealed, with the booklet inside. Looks amazing!! :wink:

Make sure if you are buying to different copies, that they are on seperate reciepts

Yes, there was an advert during Dancing On Ice on ITV. I guess if they show any more ads on TV, they'll be during Coronation Street. Again, on ITV.

Really hope that this promotion now gets kicked into full swing!! But still think that Michael is the only one that can really kick this off big time, if he is saving himself for specials to do with thriller 25 and possibly introducing the new material i hope he announces sooner rather than later.

I've got mine on last Friday...I bought all 3 version due to huge discount at the shop...T25 is the album of the month! And I also won a copy of the classic edition @ the party on saturday night (and also tshirt and poster :cool:).

Hi. I got mine today in the post.. got the hardback copy.

To be honest. The packaging is really nice.

I'm not impressed at all with the DVD at all. For making it a 25th anniversary edition they could have at least improved the picture quality of the music videos on the DVD. They could have at least restored it. Id rather have paid less for it without the dvd.

I think he should at least make an effort to help promote. Adverts, Billboards, Flyers whatever.

For any release of a cd there should be promotion to the general public. If dont want to promote it whats the point in releasing it.

Just say if he releases his new album and theres no promotion for that. Then what would happen?
