Will Michael ever communicate personally to fans?

Hmm.....I don't understand your post. You say you don't have any demands from Michael, yet you say you want to know where he is and what he is up to all the time.

Michael never dissapears off the face of the earth, he is just living his private life which we as fans have nothing to do with.

When an album is out, Michael is everywhere. Commercials, appearances, the works. When there's no album, there's no Michael. Simple as that.

How would you feel if Michael released a statement saying : "I wish my fans would write me more often. Sometimes they don't write me for days and it's like they dissapeared of the face of the earth. I want to know what they are doing every single day" ? Michael knows we're here. He knows we are living our lives and doing our thing and when he releases new music, we are there to buy it, to support him and to celebrate him. It should be the same the other way around.

i would like a MJ blog, with an occasional vid :D I don't think he feels like doing that though, or he would have probably done so already. How I would love to have him sing some random songs every week or so :D haha! *dream on*
 
you are so right . but wouldn,t it be something if he could . But no it won,t happen .

u dont understand my post because u apparently didnt take the time to read it more carefully. u misinterpreted it a lot according to ur way of thinking. i am not gonna repeat myself as i think my post was very clear and i concluded all the things i wanted to say on this matter.
now i will just add as a response to ur post that michael does disappear from the face of earth from time to time. there is no doubt about it nor am i gonna analyze this further.
he doesnt make public appearances only when an album is out (i dont think i need to justify this statement by giving specific examples etc).

Hun, I think we are both misinterpreting eachother's posts.

Michael is supposed to 'dissapear off the face of the earth' as you call it, when he's not recording and promoting and touring and doing whatever else is part of being Michael Jackson the entertainer.

Because when we, as fans, don't hear from him or about him, that's when he is living his private life which we have nothing to do with and is none of our business.

And all I said in my post, was that he doesn't really 'dissapear' as even when he is trying to live his private life, he's still there, hounded by paparazzi when he goes shopping or does an outing with his children.

my basic point was that i'd love michael to make public appearances more often (seeing he hasnt made any in a year) and to keep in touch with us more often. thats all take it or leave it. i'm not judging him for not doing so. he can do whatever the heck he wants. his life not mine therefore his call not mine. end of

So much for your "Michael doesn't owe the fans anything" crap. :rolleyes:

If you think Michael should do whatever the heck he wants, and that you have NO demands from him, why do you think he "owes" us a public appearance? And for what? Just so he can stand in a room with fans, smile and wave and say "I love you more" for the 100000th time? And so what if he just released T25? It's just a damn rerelease with a bunch of remixes! Surely you weren't expecting him to do public appearances all over the place just for that, weren't you? Don't you think it would be better for him to do all that when he has something NEW to promote like an album with FULL NEW material for instance?
 
Why are people attacking each other in here? The thread is about MJ communicating with fans more often. Some give one opinion, some give another. Stop attackimng each other and focus on the subject matter. Nobody had the blueprint on opinions.
I do not want to see MJ come out more than is needed cause the tabloid would get payed, but I expect others to have a different view.

Nobody here is attacking each other, we're just airing our own different opinions on the subject and debating on them. Isn't that what you always do? :rolleyes:
 
Folks, arguing doesn't really solve anything. Heal the "WORL" - as Michael would say it :lol: :flowers:

However Roxanne if you're going to say you're shaking your head at some replies why don't you elaborate on that and specify which posts you actually mean, since you're now offending people you might not mean to offend :) :)

I think I understand what you're tying to say, however, I along with many others feel that; it's Michael's life, he doesn't owe us anything, and thus in return he shouldn't have to answer to any specific requests in which we have. He is an entertainer, yet he's also a father, family man, and free human being. He's worked all of this life, he now wants to live a normal one. Yes, he does OCCASSIONALLY make appreances, and such when he chooses, and when he participats in work matters. However, once again, he shouldn't have to always be in conntact with us fans. I know that I also have a life, and I couldn't imagine being an entertainer and my fans always wanting me to fulfill their needs. I have a life, and they should as well. Sad thing is, some people become so involved with their icons or idols, they want to spend a great amount of time learning about them.

I'm personally glade Michael is taking the time to enjoy his life. Very few individuals understand how demanding an entertainer's career is; they very seldom have time for themselves, let alone for their families.

honey, i agree with what ur saying here and i've never said otherwise. ppl misinterpret things very easily. they dont even understand the difference between "michael should make public appearances more often" and "i wish michael made appearances more often".
thats ALL i basically said. i have any right to express my feelings and wishes here as long as they dont harm anyone. saying "oh how i'd love michael to make appearances more often" is totally harmless and is nothing but my personal wish and desire.
dont confuse it with making demands or judging or telling him whats the right thing to do or anything of that nature.
ok i think we over analyzed my statement to death. :lol: ridiculous.....

You sound way too entitled for someone who admits he 'owes us nothing.' You say you don’t have demands, but then you complain that he’s not making enough appearances to satisfy your need for updates. He’s not your personal entertainer on standby. If you're that bothered by an artist not constantly being visible, maybe reevaluate why you’re a fan in the first place. Celebrities aren’t pets you check in on. He dropped an album — that’s the job. Everything else is extra. Grow up.

What kind of day are you having that you are not only browsing a thread that hasn't been posted in since 2008, but proceed to call out a 17 year old post?
 
If he was nowdays time alive , he may could had a social account like twitter or facebook, who knows?
But I think, he could have been registered in some MJ famous forums and write in it, without nobody could image it was him.. hehe..
I met in some forums a person that was friend of MJ and personally knew him /her and MJ was in his/her home in vacation , often. And at the beginning, he/she didnt told me that he/she was friend of Michael. I discover it later, when we write each others more often and he/she said me this. Of course I always protected MJ's friend's privacy and never told his /her name to anyone.
People are like us, its just that Michael was too much famous.
But if he was not so famous we all could meet and freely speak to him.

I can know how one feel to speak with a favorite singer because after Michael, I became fan of another Extraordinary Not Famous singer , one of the most incredible singer after Michael, and this time I could meet him a lot of times , have all his authographs so easily , as he was not famous like MJ, and yet, he was so loved and talented, its incredible how he reach my heart in the same manner of Michael, like in 2 seconds. But he is not famous and he is not american at all, but another nationality distant from us.

So I can understand the feeling when one meet a favorite person... Im sure if Michael was not famous, the experience would be the same, very emotional to be free to speak with yout fav singer...
 
I remember finding a video on YT a long time ago of fans having some kind of celebration in 2007/2008 and then MJ gave a phone call in the middle of that party, does anyone know what video that was? I tried to look for it once but I couldn't find it anywhere, I'm starting to think it was a fever dream lol

Edit: Found it. At least Michael got to communicate directly with the fans once right before he passed.
