If fans of this community were on stage, I'm sure they'd be paying homage to him as well ;) I sure know I would.

There's enough room for other artists so no need to get angry. Michael will always be the King of Pop anyway.

chris brown looks like a tribute artist.
I think JT is the biggest wannabe, from the way he talk to the way he sing, and dance, his demeanor. There's always an MJ shadow in him, don't you think so? i bet one part of him that's the subconsious mind of him is crazily in love with MJ that he copy everything MJ while the other part of him having the big ego conciously repressing it. That's why you see him talk like MJ has never had a huge influence on him when all the time he try to rip off MJ.

most people here won't know about this, but there is a Korean pop star right now, under the name of "rain" that is the biggest Mj wannabe ever..like ever..... if you think about ne-yo etc. they're nothing compared to how much Rain imitates or just simply copies.....just....biggest MJ wannabe......

He was called the Asian Justin Timberlake by don't know what magazine. forgot what magazine already.
i nearly died from laughing too hard when i saw it mentioned in the local newspaper.

btw, can i just say that it's unfair to quote the Chris Brown thriller pics, since he was doing a tribut to thriller?? and not exactly doing this..in his own concert or something...

Yes we would pay homage but most of us wouldn't try to make a career off of it unless we we going to call ourselves tribute artists lol

We're not mad...we're just...annoyed lol

:lol:mad:WBSS21's posts. She just shut it down! lol Seriously, those comparison pics were great.

Yeah I agree! It's crazy!
But at the same time let's not forget that Michael also copied alot of dancestyles, like popping, locking, tapping etc - BUT he made it his own way - into his own style. And what we see all these young artist do, is that they copy Michaels style - not only to make themself look good, but to show how much they admire the King!

But hey.. the bad thing with this.. I feel this got the same effect as what happened after Rihannas "Pleas don't stop the music" - someone heard Akons vercion of Wanna Be startin something and when the "ma ma se ma ma sa" part came - they said "heey, he is copying RIHANNA!"
Omg! That's Michaels stuff!

The same with this dance.... some ppl will not know it's Michael creating all those great moves! 2bad!

The worst ones are the ones who rip him off but deny him as their inspiration. Ignoring him when it comes to listing influences.

Michael copied other artists when he was a child. He simply did whjat other children did. This is differeent when adults copy from other artists and present it as their own, esp when they don't do a better job of it.

OMG WBSS21 you're pics are hillarious! I like Chris Brown, but at this point he should just admit he's trying to become an impersonator :lol::lol::lol::lol:

You know, as ee mention Chris Brown, you guys remember his Thriller performance at WMA... I did not like it at all - each time I watch the clip on youtube the only person I am looking at is one of the backup dancer (the girl in grey standing almost next to Chris..) she's the amazing one! lol

Yeah, but Mike still rip some moves from different dancestyles. But he make them look different with adding his own little style-touch.
But Mike never copied any artists! Like you said, only as a child :)

so many that if I typed them all out then we might all have to go out and get some snickers bars.

Usher and Timberlake are tied

NeYo,Ginuwine,Chris Brown,Beyonce

and I could add another about 99 more.

so..i'm right...snickers bars are the most popular candy..lol...sry to go off topic. lol

MJ always brought something new to moves he borrowed from others, and improved them; applied them in new ways. And did them way better than others as well. I think if these wannabees were able to add something new and better to the mix, or at least something different, then one could give them props. But they don't. Why? Because they can't! Seems no one can...
