I see that some people on this board are realllllly pessimistic and depressing for some odd reason, so I'm gonna take this into my own hands lol

So my question to you is, don't you ADORE the movie Moonwalker???

What are your favorite parts???

I really love the climax toward the end when he's got a million guns pointed at him. My favorite line from the whole movie is....(mind you, there are, in fact, a million guns pointed at him)...and what does he say over and over? "STOP IT!!!" :lol: It's like someone is tickling him instead of hitting him :lol:

Another part i love is when MJ and Katy are spying on "frankie L-I-D-E-O" :lol: And the girl, who i think is annoying and loud through out the whole movie :p, screams! And I know MJ's a good actor because he has this "OH SH#$!" look on his face. Like a cuss word was on the tip of his tongue...that was sooooo funny.

Another funny Katy moment is when MJ was running from the Lideo's henchmen...he's got dogs running after him, and mind you, Michael is BOOKIN! He should've been on the track team or something. :lol: But MJ is scared ishless....he's running for his life....and KATY is up on the rooftop shouting "MICHAEL! MICHAEL!" (like her FAVORITE word in the whole world or something. It's like her only line in the movie :lol:) Here I am thinking...mj is running for his life right? Got dogs and guns after him. WHY ARE YOU CALLING HIS NAME? MJ should've stopped and shouted "WHAT THE HELL DO U WANT? DON'T YOU SEE I'M BUSY HERE????" :lol:

And just a random thing about the movie....why does it take the whole swat team and FBI and 50 million henchmen and search dogs to catch ONE GUY :lol:

You're so right, that girl is THE definittion of anoying, I honestly haven't seen the movie in a long time, but I love it so much.

I love it when the kid in the "sightseeing cart" sees MJ and goes "Look granny...it's Mm Mm...Mmmm...Mm Mmm....." and the grandma goes "Montovani?" and the kid gives this angry sideways look like "What are you talking about? Montovani?? You idiot?? Who cares about some Montovani!!!" and then nearly screams "No....MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and everyone in the "cart" goes "MICHAEL JACKSON?????!!!!!!!!!". :lmao: :lmao:

And then the whole "chasing MJ" scene...the two fat twins always crack me up! :lmao: "Which way did he go....look Biff, there he is!!! How 'bout an autograph!! Would you autograph my tummy?? What's the matter? You got no pen??!!" (and that LAAAAUGH!! OMG!!! :lmao: :lmao:)...and then MJ's like "I gotta go!" and the twins are like "Come on just one autograaaaaph...Let's GET HIM!!" And then when MJ runs into the "movie scene"...that is SOOO FUNNY!!! "Steven Spielberg" going "My producer's doing this to me!! I asked for a BAD guy....and they give me MICHAEL JACKSON!!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!" :lmao: and the "movie cowboy dude" going "I'll show you BAD!!". Too funny. And anyone notice "MJ the big ol' flirt" in Moonwalker too? :lmao: He's running away from all these people who are trying to get him...but then he notices the two pretty girls and stops and goes back like "Well hello ladies...!" :D but then has to run again when he notices the others are catching up. :lol:

And I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the part where the kids think MJ is "gone" and they are sitting on the street and crying and then there's the wind and some fog and out comes MJ and the kids RUN to hug him...Aaaawwww!! So sweet!! You know, when Katie is running towards MJ and going "MICHAEL!! MICHAEL!!!! You're back!!! You came back!!! OH MICHAEL!!" and MJ hugs Katie and says "I'm so happy to see you"......AAAAAAWWWWW! :wub: I start crying every time I see that scene...it's so sweet!

And then of course the part where MJ has a "surprise" for the kids and they are standing in front of the door waiting for it to open and MJ has all three kids around him and his arms are around them.....so sweet! I've always loved that part because it's like it would be MJ and his kids...so sweet!

And then when they go in...The whole conversation they have is so funny!!

Kid: Where're we going?
MJ: Stay together...you'll see.
Kid: What's all this stuff?
MJ: Don't worry, I'm gonna show you something special.
Kid: What's that? I think I heard something?!
MJ: You didn't hear anything...
Kid: You know something you're not telling us!
MJ: It's a surprise!

And then the plug flashes and they all jump and MJ's like "It's just a pluuuuuug...it's just a pluuuuuuug!!!" :lol: I love that part!! :lol: And then they get backstage and Frank Dileo is like "Mike, where have you been? We got one minute!".

And then of course the whole Come Together performance!!!!!!!!! OH......MY.....GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :stretcher :stretcher MJ looks HOT!!!!!!!!! :wild: Those PANTS....with that huge belt that draws all your attention to "there". :lol: And the footage during that song offers some great "camera angles", let me tell ya...!!! :wild: :D That must be like one of the (if not THE) HOTTEST MJ video ever!!! I bet the girls in the first rows were very happy to be there during the filming. I'm just wondering how many of them "survived" the whole thing without fainting or staring at MJ until they eyes were sore! :lol:

I LOVE Moonwalker. Everything from the trip down memory lane and Man in the Mirror in the beginning to Smooth Criminal. One of my favorite parts is "Badder" with the little kids doing the Bad video. It was too cute. :wub:

Then there's Speed Demon with the dance off with Spike and Michael "gettin' his ticket right" :lol: for moonwalking in a no moonwalking zone :lol:

OMG I LOVE THAT MOVIE! I loved it when I was younger, and especially more now it's on DVD! (Although I really wish it has some decent dvd extra's on it! Would some behind the scenes stuff really kill ya??!!??!!)

I love the whole opening segment with all the J5 songs and young MJ singin and then, omg, Man in the Mirror! Blows me away and can still reduce me to tears!

Love Leave Me Alone as well!

I love the whole Smooth Criminal part, except for Katie. OMG sooo annoying! I remember I took the dvd to a mates house and we watched it together, and then for months later we would annoy each other by saying Katie's lines and yelling "Michael!!!" at inappropriate times! LOL

The whole 'transformer' part is AWESOME and I love that robot/ship, it's cool! and then of course, 'Come Together' is just damn brilliant! He is SOOO good in that vid! Unbelievable!

I also love the song at the end, 'The Moon is Rising', brilliant song, I always have to skip back and hear it again! I'd love that song for my ipod.

Moonwalker is so 80's, so Michael, and so much fun. I love it! I just moved house, and our BIG tv arrives tomorrow, and I just can't wait to watch Moonwalker on it!
 
I saw this movie for the first time when i was 6 yrs old in 1995.

It was Michael Jackson week on VH1 and every night for a week they gave something relating to Michael whether it was the bucharest concert or his videos or whatever. I was soo excited I made my father tape all of the marathons. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I don't even remember when or how i fell in love with Mike or why i wanted him to tape Michael. I just knew I absolutely loved him. I was actually screaming for my father to tape it and not miss any moments. I still have the tapes today. It was all for Michael's release of History.

Anywho I remember watching Moonwalker and thinking OMG this is the greatest thing ever!!! He was soo magical to me. My favorite parts of it is his danceoff with Spike and the cop was like "I need your autograph right here" lol The whole Speed Demon part was my favorite when all of the crazed claymation characters were following him with the crazy grandma.

Oh also when Michael runs onto the set of the director and the director calls Michael a "hairball' The he says "I ASKED FOR A BAD GUY AND YOU GIVE ME MICHAEL JACKSON!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" and then he turns into some weird monster and his pants fall off! LMFAO

The whole Smooth Criminal video is my favorite. "Do it and ya dead" is probably my favorite line lol and ya gotta love when he turns into a robot! that was wild!

Also the whole beginning is my favorite too when they're showing all of the moments when he was a kid. oh and Man in the Mirror made me cry my eyes out and it still does today 13 years later.

UGH it's just the greatest ever. They should re-air it on television one day so more of the newer generations can see it. I think everyone should.
 
I agree! It should be reaired on television! It is a lot better than some of the tripe kids these days are fed on the tv.

I wonder how we can find out which tv stations have the rights to it in our countries?
 
Moonwalker is classic, it gave me so many fantastic childhood memories. I loved the whole Speed Demon segment and thought it was hilarious when those girls were chasing him in that monster truck and then they went through a drive through McDonalds thing and had a load of burgers and ketchup dumped on them hahaha.

Obviously the Smooth Criminal 1930's club scene always left me mesmerised, that was by far my favourite scene in the movie. Also Michael turning into a robot was crazy but I love it lol. I used to love that bit where he was on his knees with his hands on his face and then he slowly puts them down and then there's that 'bwooooowooooowwww' noise lol and then his eyes flash and his skin turns all silver. I thought that transformation was so clever. When I was little I really thought MJ could turn into a robot (I was like 4 at the time) lol and my mum was like 'I'm sorry darling but he can't really' and I said 'yes he can, he do everything, he can turn into a car, spaceship, robot, he can do anything, you just jealous because you can't do it', that made my mum giggle.

My dad used to take the pee out of that Katy girl when near the end she's holding that star thing and she's going 'its not a lucky star...its not'.

I love it when he's running after Skipper and calling his name, how good does he sound there? :wub: haha, and the bit before Come Together where he's laughing and saying "hehehe, it's just a plug, it's just a plug" :lol:

Anyway, I love, love, love "Moonwalker". It's my favorite movie musical thingy EVER, lol. Everything from the story, to the acting, to the music and dancing. It was just a really creative, well done piece of work which doesn't get the kind of credit it deserves. Not just the film part, but the entire film, including the retrospective, the "Mini Bad" and the "Speed Demon" sequence that happens after that. Those two sequences in particular show what an awesome sense of humor Michael has. When he's running away from the cowboy, and he stops in the middle of that film set and the Steven Spielberg character loses his mind and screams "I ask for a bad guy and they send me Michael Jackson!? I can't take this anymore." lol. It shows how stupid Michael thought people were who were making fun of him over the "Bad" short film. Or just the characters chasing him, the fans and paparazzi, who are going totally balistic trying to catch him. When Michael runs behind the Statue of Liberty and she say's "Home of the brave, and land of the weird". That's another example of Michael's sense of humor. Or the fans that scream and go "IT'S HIM!" and then faint, lol. Michael's just got a killer sense of humor. And of course the chase scene with Spike and then the dance off at the end is brilliant. Not to mention the video for "Leave Me Alone", which I think is conceptually one of Michael's finest videos. When it shows him as an amusement park, being built on by dogs. It just goes to show how it is that people feed off of him and "dog him" as the lyric goes. And how he just breaks free at the end, deciding not to put up with it anymore. Brillaint stuff. Not to mention when his dancing with the Elaphant Man's skeleton. I love his dancing there and his outfit.

The actual film part is amazing to me too. I like how it starts off, with Michael coming out of the apartment and gazing up. Then when Frankie Lideo and his henchmen come and try to shoot him, I like how it fades from that scene to a past recollection of Michael and the kids playing in the field. It really seems like a dream state or something and something that happened in the past. That field is beautiful, by the way. But just that whole scene is awesome I think. Of course the end when Michael gets angry, priceless! Michael really DOES look fuming though when Joe Pechie is hitting Katie, lol. His eyes get all big and his teeth are ground. He looks like he's gonna kill. Which of course is why he said "Do it and ya' dead!" lol. But he sounded for real serious, haha.

And Katie was annoying as hell. I'm like "BI*CH! SHUT YO MOUTH!" When Michael was running from the bad guys and she just kept screaming his name. Like that shi*s gonna help, lol.

Just love "Moonwalker". I swear it's my favorite movie ever, lol. I think it also broke Michael's previous record as the biggest selling music video of all time.

The performance by "Ladysmith Black Mambizo" gets me every time. There's something really special about that song and it's connection to Michael. It captures and reflects what's really special about Michael, I think.

Oh, and those spins Michael did on the performance of "Man In The Mirror" were god damn outRAGEOUS! I couldn't believe how fast and tight those were. The man is like a God when it comes to dance. Just unreal!

I LOVE Moonwalker. It was the first thing from Michael that I watched/heard and I was HOOKED from the first seconds of absolutely mesmerizing Man In The Mirror performance. I was 11 then and it was too much for me to see all those things at once in 1,5 hour:lol:. I was just STARING at TV screen in astonishment til the end. And after 15 years it's still my favourite movie. Steven Spielberg scene is the most funny one related to MJ i've ever seen and all the rest is amazing too: my favourite video of all time Smooth Criminal and the hottest one, so incredibly dynamic Come Together, and all the story...
 
I love the part where MJ goes "But me and my friend Spike....Spike...he was just here..." and the cop goes "I need your autograph RIGHT HERE"....:lol:

And why y'all hating on Katie?? :( I actually always thought it's really "heartbreaking" and sweet how she's so worried about Michael all the time and how she "hangs on" to Michael...you know, how she wants to be with him all the time. And that part where Frank Lideo has Katie and hits her and is about to inject some drugs into her and MJ is FIGHTING to get free to save her....that whole scene always scares me and makes me start crying at the same time....you know it's the GOOD vs. EVIL scene...Lideo being the evil and MJ being the good one trying to save Katie (and the world too basically...since Lideo is trying to get all kids on drugs etc.). One of the best scenes even though it is awful to watch. :(

Cause if her little butt really cared about him she wouldn't be tryin' to announce his wearabouts to the whole world by screamin' his name on a roof top and then gettin' all mad and bit*hy cause he had to leave for a while after getting kicked in the stomach and destroying the evil drug loard, pff. lol, naw, we're just playin'. But she was annoying. But obviously, Michael still loves her. He loves everybody, cept Frankie Ledeo. He was steaming mad at him, lol.
 
i know! when mike was runnin, i was like why is this dumb girl screamin his name from a roof? ugh i wanted 2 slap her soo many times..

When Lideo was smackin her upside the head after they got of the elevator all i cud do was laugh..is that wrong? lol

Me and my brother call Moonwalker 'Cheesewalker' coz it's so cheesy oh the wit. Well it's cheesy apart from the actual Smooth Criminal.
 
of course is cheesy.80% of what MJ does is cheesy. But its a good kind of cheesy lol
