It's a diva double take!

Beyoncé Knowles will join forces with the legendary Tina Turner for a performance at the Feb. 10 Grammy Awards, a source close to the show confirms to PEOPLE.

News of the A-list duet comes just one day after the Writers Guild of America announced it will not picket the awards show – clearing the way for stars to attend the Los Angeles ceremony.

Knowles, 26, has long been vocal about her appreciation for the 68-year-old icon: In 2005, she performed Turner's signature hit, "Proud Mary," during a Kennedy Center tribute.

I can't wait for this performance either. Be nice to see Tina. She's 68 years young. Be too funny if she outshines B.

Se will no doubt outshine Beyonce. Beyonce's a pretty bad singer and performer in comparison.

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

awesome! Beyonce took her dance moves from Ms. Tina.

I agree, Beyonce isn't all that talented, where Tina has an incredibly powerful voice.

I'll still be tuning in to watch this, though.

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

Just have Beyonce stand aside and let Tina do her thing. After that, have Michael come out, do his thing, then him and Tina can perform together. MJ & Tina on the Grammy's = MAJOR RATINGS.

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

omg^ that would be amazing................

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

No doubt Beyonce will be overdoing it, thrashing around and trying to outdo Tina. Would be great to see Tina doing it on her own.

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

that is going to be sooooooooo good, wow, i love tina

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

I don't think it'll be good. I think it'll be horrible actually. Everyone thought Beyonce and Prince performing together at the Grammies sounded great until it actually happened. My prediction is Beyonce will try to outsing and outperform and Tina and just end up looking like a mess and ruining the whole performance for both of them like she did to Prince.

Re: Beyoncé & Tina Turner Will Duet at the Grammys

To me it seems the Grammy's are gearing up to be great..

Hmm, well apart from a few Prince fans who thought he had sold out with that performance, I mostly heard good things about his performance with Beyonce, It got rave reviews...And personally, I thought her performance w/Prince was one of the best i've seen on the Grammy's in years.

Tina's only retired as far as touring is concerned. As far as I know she's still involved in the music world.

Tina is amazing, she never stops! She is truly an inspiration.

Tina Turner Says She's Hitting The Road Again

Tina Turner says she's hitting the road again for her first tour in the United States in seven years.
The 68-year-old singer announced on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that it will begin Oct. 1 in Kansas City. Tickets for Turner's tour go on sale May 12.
The R&B legend appeared with singer-actress Cher, 61, on an episode taped Saturday in Las Vegas before a crowd of 4,000 people. The broadcast is scheduled to air May 8.
Winfrey asked both women how they feel about getting older in show business, according to remarks released Wednesday in advance by Harpo Productions.
"I think it sucks," said Cher.
"That number doesn't mean a thing. It just doesn't," said Turner.

Great! So glad to hear that! Tina is amazing! And she's still got it!

Re: Tina Turner Says She's Hitting The Road Again

Yes, I heard! I'm so glad to hear that she's decided to tour again! I'm definitely getting tickets to see her if she comes to my city.

Re: Tina Turner Says She's Hitting The Road Again

she still got it and I'd climb on them legs and be like a KFC Bucket and it would be finger licking good. Tina still can bring it live.

Kanye West says "Beyonce Is Greater Than Tina Turner"

At a recent New Zealand press conference Kanye has put his foot in his mouth once again stating and i quote
"Nobody really wants to recognize that Beyonce is a f*cking living legend and that she is just as great, if not greater, than the artists that we had in the past... that she's probably greater than Tina Turner,"
All i can say is that W/e Ye is smoking i want some. I don't know what would posses him to spew this lie.

What are your thoughts?

Re: Kanye West says "Beyonce Is Greater Than Tina Turner"

Personally I disagree with the "living legend" and "probably greater than Tina Turner" statements, but it is Kanye doing the speaking so I just let it roll off my back. A few years/decades down the road, and perhaps his statement about B will be more realistic to me.
