Beyonce is no legend, I'm sure she will become one but she doesn't deserve it as she's not original. She's completely ripped of Tina Turner's image and stage act, and was burned off stage by Tina Turner at the Grammy Awards this year. So how can Kanye West say she's greater than Tina Turner.

exactly...its funny how he compares her to tina when beyonce dresses like tina..she trys to move like tina. come on where you think she gets it from thats not diana ross shes doing.

plus beyonce is around and tina is still breaking tour records.

beyonce will be a legend. but why break down one legend to hype up a rising one? when beyonce is old another new girl will be out. so who cares. kanye you aint considered elvis or michael jackson like you think you are so shut your pie hole and concentrate on you.

I love Kanye, but he needs to shut up. At times he makes sense and at times, but, like this situation, he is on some type of stuff. No offense to anyone that is a fan of Beyonce but she is no where near a legend and she cannot even compete with Tina Turner. I adore Tina Turner and I was really insulted when Kanye said this. Forget the fact that Tina worked her butt off most of her life, she was a victim of spouial abuse from the late Ike Turner, she came back with amazing force in 1984 and she is the definition of a legend. Beyonce cannot even be on Tina's level. Kanye just needs to worry about why critics are trashing, sadly, his new CD. And Beyonce is overrated the P. Diddy remix.

I like Kanye's music, but he must be smoking or something to make an outlandish comment like that. Beyonce is talented, but you cannot compare her to Tina Turner. Tina absolutely KILLS Beyonce in every aspect- singing, dancing, performing, style, everything. What is he talking about? Tina is the teacher, Beyonce is the student. Tina is a living legend. Beyonce will never come close to the greatness that is Tina, not in a million years. Kanye needs to sit down somewhere for real lol.

I can't believe that Kanye would talk about Tina Turner like that. Beyonce's face lit up and she came alive when she performed with Tina at the Grammy's this year IMO. I could tell she had respect for her. So I don't think even Beyonce would like what Kanye said. Tina was performing and releasing hits years before Kanye was born. She could be his second mother for gosh sakes, as nice as she is. And he's going to diss and put down her legacy like that? Uh-Uh. That doesn't go well for me.

Uhh was this during one of his annoying blogs he writes with caps lock on;) Who cares what he thinks, I agree wth msot of you on TT, the fact it is it is not true no one can top Tina Turner or MJ. Beyonce is very good but she hasn't anything on Tina Turner and am sure that she would agree herself, she seems a nice girl. Kanye needs to rest it, or at least turn his damn mac book off.

For example, Oasis' Liam Gallagher just won't stop saying shit like : "oh we are the best band" "oh screw coldplay" "oh we are bigger than the ROLLING STONES" ?!

I mean,come on...

i can't name 5 of their hit songs.

And Kanye keeps on saying how he is the best, but all of his hits are based on samples, and I KNOW that some people will disagree with me, but that is NOT pure talent! And he says he is SINGING on his new record??? Yes, autotune singing makes up for singing... BY WHINING!

I dont see to much of a problem in that statement, Beyonce is huge now, living legend I dont think so, but still big, and has been for about 5-6 Years, and is still in her 20's, if she went on to the same age as Turner(although she probably wont) they she could surpass her.

Prime for prime Beyonce doesn't touch Tina. She doesn't even touch her now. Tina's stage presense and ability to work a stage far outdoes Beyonce. And she has a MUCH better voice.

Kanye is some kind of crazy. It's like he's on some mission to prove his generation of musical acts is the best ever, when in reality, it's a wide consensus that it's absolutely the worst, and that's thought with good reason. Next he'll be saying Chris Brown and himself are better then Michael. Dillusional, like I said before.

Just let it be known that KANYE is the one who should be getting the flack for this comment. Whether you agree with it or not, there is no need to attack Beyonce or even Tina for that matter depending on how you feel about his comment. If you disagree, then rip Kanyes head off if you feel the need..but dont attack Bey to prove your point cuz it only makes you look like a hater even if she isnt better than Tina..there are some that might think she is..but in respect to her fans dont crucify her for the sake of Kanye's ignorant ass..but then again...Kanye is Kanye and will say whatever he damn well wants to say so you cant knock him for being bold about what he believes in..i just get tired of ppl always complimenting and praising Beyonce when shes doing what she does, but when it comes to comapring her to another artist or legend for that matter, everyone is quick to chew her up..kind of ridiculous and double standard if you ask me..But as a Beyonce stan, i dont agree with Kanyes comment.. That's a ridiculous statement! As has been said already, Tina's one of Beyonce's biggest influences - Tina's the original! Kanye's just stating opinion without thinking through what he's saying.

It's not impossible for someone to be better then their influence. It happens all the time. And I'll be the first person to say if that's the case. Beyonce is good. But that's all she is, is good. I've seen her live and by today's standards, she's a stand out star. By yesterdays standards, she's average. Bottom line. Kanye says dumb shit because he's on some convoluted mission to prove his generation of pop acts is better then all the rest.

I like Beyonce more than Tina (who is amazing though), but Beyonce not a living legend, at all. Tina, MJ, Madonna, and Aretha Franklin are living legends. Kanye needs to shut up -_-

Why does Kanye feel the need to talk about everyone?
